B.Tech. in Electrical Engineering - Batch of 2021

Nice environment as well as faculty members.
Placements: More than 70% of students were placed in various companies. The highest package offered was of 8 Lacs and the lowest being of 3 Lacs. Almost 80% of students got internship in various companies like HCL, HPL, Lio technology, Allsoft solutions, Seldom India.
Infrastructure: There are lots of facilities available from basics like labs, library, properly ventilated rooms to others like Wi-Fi and gym etc. The campus has hostel as well as a canteen with proper consideration of hygiene. The various cultural activities are also encouraged by faculty members of department for further development of students.
Faculty: The faculty members are really helpful and always welcome any doubt or any queries. They motivate students for creating new things and for the development of skills. Here practical skills are well gardened and knowledge regarding industries are properly given to the students for making them skilful.
Other: I have chosen Electrical Engineering since in modern days electricity is a major part of daily life and it's an evergreen branch which will continue till the civilization requires power. For better development, New technologies are required. There are lots of cultural activities as well as curricular activities including fest, events or games.

Absolutely satisfied, high number of placements, experienced faculty.
Placements: Various training programs organised, industrial visits, campus placement drives are organized in the college. A good no. Of students got placed every year. Students are placed in Delhi fire Service, Haryana fire service, SAIL etc. Students also get trained in various industries, and also under Delhi fire Service.
Infrastructure: Hostel facilities are very much satisfactory. Well, furnished Rooms are available. Wi-Fi is provided 24*7 with good internet speed. 3 times a day, a full meal is provided along with evening snacks. Rooms are available with an option of A/C and Non-A/C facility. Hygienic environment in the mess. Gym facility is available at the hostel with all the required equipment.
Faculty: Qualified, experienced and highly knowledgeable faculty in the college. Theoretical, as well as practical knowledge, is provided at the campus. Ground training is in the curriculum of fire technology and safety engineering which is given regularly to the students.
Other: I chose this course as it is highly required in the industry now a days. This course makes u different from other engineers.

The college is okay to take admission.
Placements: The placements of the college are normal. I will rate the placements of the college as 6 out of 10. Our seniors are placed in the average salary package of 2 LAP to 3.5 LPA, which is quite low but it is a nice start to join a company. Many companies comes to our college but most of these are small.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is just fine. I will Give six out ten for the infrastructure as well. Desks are not properly maintained. Otherwise, other things are good. The management has told us that Wi-Fi facility will be made available, but it is not yet available. The college has two grounds, in which the students can play the games.
Faculty: Almost all the teachers are experienced and helpful, and their teaching method is okay. Student to faculty ratio changes from class to class. We are taken to industrial visits. Few teachers are not very qualified and don't have proper teaching method. The course is according to MDU.

Ganga Institute of Technology and Management, Kablana.
Placements: The placements are not so good. They organise a job fair instead of providing a straight platform for the students. I rate their placements 1 out of 5. I don't remember anyone getting a college placement from my class. So, just think twice before joining.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is nice as the whole college contains 4-5 buildings. There is no disappointment when it comes to the infrastructure of the college although the canteen is still in the 80's. There is Wi-Fi but restricted all the time, and the sports facilities are not too good as well. They just organise one single sports day, and that has no inter-college competitions, nothing.
Faculty: The faculty of the college are nice. They work hard for students, and they help to create better engineers, but I would not say everyone is as hard-working as the teachers. There are some who work, and the rest, you are on your own. The HOD is of the college is quite keen in their work although they took a lot of serious actions against minor mistakes.
Other: Frankly speaking, I will never recommend anyone to join my college.

B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering - Batch of 2017

Good teaching man power with a large no. of placements and regularly conducted classes.
Placements: I've got the best placement in my mechanical field from the Ganga college. Here, 90% of the students are getting placements. It achieves the best goals, in getting placements with a large number of salary packages. I'm very thankful for my institution and the faculty members who have made changes in me.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the Ganga college looks very good. In college campus, there is a separate ground for the cricket or the volleyball. The structure of this building is made in such a way, that looks like a co-artist has designed it. The boundaries of ground are covered with green grass and beautiful flowers which makes the area look like heaven. The labs and classes are designed in a well and proper manner which helps in our studies.
Faculty: The faculty of this college were intelligent and well educated, who described the knowledge to students, clearly. They used simple and easier techniques for teaching. The number of faculty members was not very large, but they are well educated. They always try to give their excellent performance for the students.
Other: Our institution organises fests and all the festival on their campus which is enjoyed a lot.

An average college but dissatisfied because of zero placement of our senior batch.
Placements: There was zero placement from college as no company visited our campus for the batch 2013-2017. I am from the batch 2014-2018. This time we expect some companies to visit our campus. Talking about the internship, we are supposed to do the industrial training for 2 months, but our college made us do the training for fire and safety management at Delhi Fire Services who charged fees of approximately 10,000 per month per child. Last semester, i.e., the 8th semester was full of training for 4-5 months. I hope, we get some real exposure in some petrochemical industry.
Infrastructure: The Wi-Fi is protected, and nobody knows the password. If we manage to hack the Wi-Fi, anyhow, speed is worse. Library is well-equipped with around 15,000 books and with the good reading atmosphere. Classrooms are good, but they lack in ventilation and lightning. College does not have a proper medical room but has a first aid box. Canteen is average, food quality is good, cafe coffee day (CCD) outlet in college serves better than college canteen. The hostel rooms are good, but the environment in the hostel is pathetic. The lobby smells. A single room of boys hostel is accommodated with 5 students. Infrastructure is overall very good and attractive.
Faculty: The college lacks in hiring best faculty for fire technology and safety. Most of the subjects are related to fire which is taught by faculty holding a degree in mechanical engineering. But the institute is helpful, and they put all their efforts in clearing our doubts as far as concerned. Usually, we are taught on blackboards. Also, there are special presentation rooms where, sometimes, we are taught with relevant PPTs.
Other: As there are limited colleges that offer B.Tech in fire technology and safety, so the faculty is less. If you have your interest in fire engineering, you must take admission in this college. College takes students to many expos and exhibitions and also to many industrial visits from time to time. Fees are not very high and are affordable by middle-class family.
