Placement of the college needs to be improved.

Placements: Placement of the college is not good. Some companies were invited to the campus. The average package was around 2.4 Lacs per annum. Most of the students in my batch were not placed. 2-3 companies including TCS came to campus to recruit freshers.

Dissatisfied with the college because of placements.

Placements: The placements were the only issue in our college except this everything was fine. The students had to search the jobs on their own, and no help is given from the college. In February, local companies visit the college for placements and pick only 2 to 3 students. Once, placement took place, and around 120 students participated. I was one among the 120 students, but only 20 were selected through a written test, and further only two students were selected in the interview for the job. Now, I he...

Good college and staff, but management is the worst.

Placements: Only a few companies visit the campus for CSE. Last year in 2017, they also conducted open campus drive, but almost all companies were from BPO profile. I got placed by my own as DBA, Only 2-3 out of 70 CSE students got placed through campus placements. You have to look outside the campus for your placement.

It is a good college. But the placement is not good. Teachers and the faculty are supportive.

Placements: The placement of this college is not good. Many companies visit, but the salary package is not attractive. Our placement in charge is very supportive and friendly, and he inspires the student in very aspects. We are really happy to have this type of teacher is in our college. 40% of the students were placed. Our senior's placement was not good 5-6 students were placed in the multinational company which is very less, but some students of our class are already selected in companies like TCS, Wipro...

Disatisfied from the placement point of view. The faculty was fine.

Placements: The placement scenario was not very good. Only a few companies visited the college. The companies which came were mostly from marketing and sales area. Few of them included the door to door marketing. Although, the placement for the mechanical students was fine as they were offered posts in the production line. The college has few links with some of the manufacturing companies.

This college is a complete show-off and it has nothing to do with engineering.

Placements: To be honest, there is no such thing called placements in this college. All the things told to students about campus placements are completely fake. As a student of this college, I know it much better than others. There are hardly one or two companies that visit annually and they select just one or two students for the newspaper of the college. Those students who get hired by these companies hardly get a salary of around 12-15 thousand.

Not satisfied due to the lack of good teachers. It has good facilities.

Placements: In this college, there is no chance of placements. They are spoiling the life of students. Teachers also not professional and they do not call even a single company to place students for a good job.

Poor placements, average faculty, good hostel and infrastructure.

Placements: Placements of GIMT are very poor. Our senior batch had a placement of about 5%. They compel engineers to go for the BPO job or the job of the tutor in campus placements. Our batch also has a poor campus placement. Only 4 of my classmates got placed in campus placements and 2 of them did not join because of the small salary package (around 10,000 per month). However, the highest package this year was 20,000 per month in the college placement (offered by Space-India) but it was the job of a tutor....

Satisfied with good environment of study.

Placements: The placement for our senior batch was good as compared to our batch. The percentage of students selected from our batch was approximately 25 percent and the highest salary of a student from our batch was 16K per month. According to my knowledge, there were five companies which visited the campus like Paracoat Product Limited, Metro Tyres Limited, etc.

GIMT is one of the best engineering colleges in Haryana. The faculty is good. But the training and placement are not so good in my college and the account section added more fine in fee without any reason. Due to the faculty, I joined this college. Due to the lack of placement now I am feeling that I joined the wrong college.

The college is good as far as studies and other activities are concerned. However, talking about the placement after graduation is useless. College is more into maintaining discipline and enhance the reputation of the college by doing the activities like organizing sports, conferences, international meeting etc. As far as the campus placement is concerned, there is no support after your college. They are not bothered about the student and there future after the college. I don't recommend this...
