Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) - Batch of 2023

Our college has excellent teaching but no good infrastructure and no direct placements.
Placements: In our college, almost 45% of students are placed but they are placed only by their efforts. Internships are offered during the course. If they are good during their internships then schools call them to join the school as teachers. There are no placements from our college.
Infrastructure: There is no hostel, food, mess, and canteen. The college infrastructure is not so good. Classrooms are good but not air-conditioned. There is a smart board but it is not working. A library is available at our college.
Faculty: Our teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. Our teachers are so good but they do their jobs very well. They are all experienced and explain everything well that we need. Semester exams are easy.
Other: I chose this course because I want to become a good teacher. One of the things I would like to improve is providing more life experiences to students.

Really bad infrastructure and management.
Placements: They don't provide placements. You have to give interviews on your own. Maybe before lockdown, they provided placing, but now there is no facility. If they like your work, there is a chance they can hire you in their school, but the possibilities are rare.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is really poor. They only have 8 rooms in the name of building. They don't have basic facilities like a water cooler. Toilets are also not well maintained. They have a library and for the library, you have to pay 5k extra. There is no canteen; that is really bad. If due to any problem you are unable to take lunch; you have to stay hungry the whole day. They don't even allow us to order food online in an emergency. In the name of activity and sports they took 5k extra but they don't even allow us to go to the ground.
Faculty: Firstly if I talk about faculty so most of the teachers are highly educated and qualified. They have good knowledge of their subjects. Only some teachers are there who don't have mastery in their subjects. The curriculum is relevant and it is useful for being a successful teacher. Semester exams are quite difficult because they don't provide sufficient time to attempt the questions so you have to be really very fast if you want to achieve good marks. The last thing I would like to mention here is that they put an extra burden on students with assignments and the main problem is, they will provide all the tasks near the minors so we don't have enough time to complete the assignments and to study.
Other: They need to improve everything in their college. They don't organize events and fests. They only celebrated farewell party and women day celebrations and both functions were really bad. They don't even know how to manage small celebrations. If I talk about connectivity so college is near the Rohini west metro station. From the metro station, you can walk or take E riskhaw.

Absolutely dissatisfied with administration facilities, grievances redressal. Hefty amount of fees.
Placements: There are no placement opportunities available at the Gitarattan Institute of advance studies and training. No packages offered.
No schools approach this institute.
Online curriculum Preliminary School Examination are part of the curriculum provided. No other training and internship are provided. Roles offered are PRT, TGT, and PGT in concerned subjects.
Infrastructure: Poor infrastructure and facilities provided for the students. No Wi-Fi facility. One computer lab is there for the whole college and school running together. There is very little space for the college. The entire space is used for school only. B.Ed common room provided for teacher trainee.
Faculty: The faculty is not that satisfactory. Communication skills are very low. Teachers are qualified with the mandatory eligibility qualifications. Teachers are not that much helpful for the students in grievances redressal. Teaching quality is not up to the mark. The course curriculum is satisfactory but it doesn't make the students ready for the industry.
Other: I chose this college because of its ranking 2 college of IP for B.Ed. The only thing is the PSE exposure provided at school which helps us to provide real exposure of our job. No scholarship provided. No concession even in case of any emergency. They conduct extra CCA but never reward any student. They keep on reaping money by various means like asking maintenance charges on half yearly basis, etc. No events, fest they even organised.

It has amazing faculty with a lot of experience, and it provides a lot of placement opportunities.
Placements: The college organises a job fair every year. I got a job even before the exams of my final year. There were many ranked schools on the placement panel. 70% of students, including me, got selected in the job fair. We got paid more than expected. We were taught to become great mentors, not teachers. The faculty members are amazing.
Infrastructure: There were labs like a cooking lab, computer lab, a very informative library, and a sports room with all games. As we are learning to become a teacher, phones were not allowed on the campus, so no Wi-Fi facility was there. The classrooms were big and well ventilated. The medical room was good. The mess was not available, and the canteen was not much good.
Faculty: The teachers were well experienced, well qualified and amazingly talented. The teaching quality was par excellence. The curriculum was relevant as per the examinations. The pass percentage was 100%, as the teaching quality was amazing. Semester exams were based on the previous year's exams set up by the board.
Other: I wanted to become a teacher, so I selected the course. This college is the best in this area. My batch was 2013-15. Canteen food can be improved. There were a lots of extracurricular activities.
