An average college of IP University.

Placements: Placement is average as the highest package this time was 5 to 6 lakh but that was only for 2 to 3 companies and the rest were max 3 lakh. The placement for marketing was the highest as compared to HR or Finance. The lowest package was for HR students. And for finance only, 5 to 6 companies came.

Average rating for the college. Not too good but not too bad either.

Placements: Placements are good in my college. Most of the students got placed but the package is low in between 2.7- 6 lacs only. Mostly, it is around 3 lacs. Marketing companies visit majorly, then comes finance and less of HR. The package of HR is quite low at below 2.8 lacs. Overall, I would give 3 out of 5 for placements.

Satisfied with my college. They provide the best education, best placement, and best infrastructure.

Placements: The placement procedure is good. All the placement faculty members are doing their work so well. They try that there every student gets placed. The highest salary offered is about 6 LPA and lowest in the range of 2 to 2.5 LPA and the average is about 3 LPA. The companies which visited are naukri.com, Chegg India, Policy Bazar, Axis Bank, IndusInd Bank, etc.

Not much good placements. Helpful teachers.

Placements: Placements of this college were not at all good. I took HR as a specialisation and hardly 2-3 companies turned up. Moreover, good companies were not called. Management for the placing students was also not good. The highest package was 5 lakh and the lowest package was 2 lakh.

Satisfied with this college but the faculty members are a bit strict .

Placements: The students get placed in good companies like ICICI, IDBI, RBS, InfoEdge, etc. The placement cell works really hard to get you placed in good companies. But if you are placed in one company then they don't allow you to sit for another company's placement.

Average placements, good infrastructure and disrespectful top management.

Placements: I am a student of Gitarattan International Business School pursuing MBA final semester. GIBS has average placements and around 50% students are placed every year. The maximum package offered after MBA is 5-6 lakhs. Tie-ups are there with average-level companies. Below average placements are there for the HR profile and placement opportunities for the marketing profile are good.

Good college for self discovery with all the auxiliaries of improvisation and self building career.

Placements: Placements were average in our college. There were more placement opportunities for the marketing specialisation students, for finance profile campus placements were comparatively very less. Around 60% of students were placed in my batch of MBA. Companies visited our colleges were Axis Bank, Investor Clinic, etc. and offered marketing roles. Around 40% students got internship opportunities in our college. Only a few students were getting paid for the internship period. The highest stipend earned...

Satisfactory - good faculty and infrastructure.

Placements: Placements were not really good. Almost all the students looked out for jobs on their own. Not even 20% of students got placements from the college and the salary offered was also quite less. Most of the companies that visited the campus were start-ups with low capital invested. Roles offered to students were from hard core marketing field, sales and targets based etc. Internship: Many students got placed from campus for internships. Not too many companies came for internship placements but th...

I'm satisfied with the course and faculty but dissatisfied with the placements of the college.

Placements: The placements were impressive. The college has 60% placement. The average package was around 2.40-6.06 lakhs per annum. The companies visited our campus were Safexpress, Justdial, Naukri.com, Naukri Gulf, Jeevansaathi.com, Axis Bank etc. to hire the students. The roles offered is marketing, sales and HR to the students. 30-40% of the students got an internship from the college. The stipend ranges from null to Rs. 8,000.

Discipline is the priority for GIBS, which keeps the college in good shape.

Placements: GIBS has a separate placement cell. The placement is very good though the average salary is quite low (1.5 lakh to 4 lakh). Almost all the students got placed. Few good companies that came were Infoedge (naukri.com, 99acres and other sister companies), The Hindu (third party payroll), Axis Bank, Invictus and many other companies.

The are various reasons due to which I would suggest students to not take admission in GIBS. The faculties don't focus on practical training and exposure to students. Their only focus is towards theoretical knowledge. Most of the faculties are not at all co-operative and encouraging. 15-20 times a month, they have seminars conducted in college and the speaker is most of the time same which I think is nugatory for students to attend. Poor placements. At most 5% students get placed from college pl...

There is lot of strictness and discipline. It focuses only on studies and no extra curriculum activities. Faculties are very nice and cooperative. I passed out from 2013 batch and there were no placements at all from college side, we had to search for ourselves. Before joining the colleges ask the students about faculty and placements because staff lies about it and ultimately students suffer. If you want to enjoy college life then it will be a wrong option to go to for.

My experience in GIBS was good. Overall there is a nice infrastructure and the best facilities. Apart from providing quality education, emphasis is on to developing leadership qualities, risk-taking abilities and decision-making skills right from the beginning of their professional education.

Classes at GIBS are good. Case studies and presentations makes the college hectic. Attendance is the biggest issue in this college. Minimum 70 % is required. Sometime senior management is very rude over there. Faculty is also average. Tests are conducted on a regular basis which can be both, planned as well as surprise in nature. Students are not given any handouts as such but most of the teachers share their presentations with them.

Pros: Good faculty. Good infrastructure. Great timings. Discipline in terms of attendance and conduct. Cons: Poor at placements. Motive of college vested only in taking fines and other ways to earn additional revenue from students. No focus on student's placement.

The college is very strict but you will get a lot to learn than any other MBA college. It focuses more on seminars, presentations which form the overall personality of the student. I have a great time at the college but would tell you that the management of the college itself need to learn some management tactics as they always fail at this. With coming up of IT infrastructure in studying the scenario seems changing. Overall it is an average college but will keep the students intact and together...

Gitarattan International Business School (GIBS) provides only postgraduate degrees (PG) in MBA and MCA. The college has highly qualified faculty members whose experience is more than a decade and college's extracurricular activities are good. The college is very strict with respect to discipline. It provides a maximum package of 5 lakhs for marketing students and no good placements for finance students. HR's placement is average with a package of round about 2 to 2.5 lakhs.

My experience at GIBS has given me a chance to sharpen my skills in my field of choice. This experience is the one that holds many pleasant memories for me. I began the journey as a scared rat out in the open desert, but made the best of it and trudged forward becoming a willful tiger. Being forced to be independent was a nudge needed at that time and GIBS offered the same along with much needed support of my faculty members. I enjoyed the subtle opportunity given, meeting new friends and exerti...

Not worth to do MBA from GIBS. Placement is not up to the mark and they charge placement fees also. As such there is no faculty who could help in your final semester research project and none of the faculty knows SPSS software. In terms of seminars I could say its worth for the people who are serious for other activities apart from curriculum.
