Overall a nice college for MBBS course.
Placements: In MBBS, each student has to do the internship at their own college. So every student studying here at this college has to do their internship compulsory. So all 100% of students do their internship. The stipend is 28 thousand rupees per month. We get nice patient exposure in the internship.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is quite nice and spacious. The campus is not so large, but it is nice. There is no Wi-Fi facility. The labs are well-equipped, and the library has many books. The canteen food is very good, but the mess food is not very impressive.
Faculty: Faculty are very well experienced and teach in a way that is very easy to understand. The curriculum is structured in such a way that we get to know all the skills and knowledge that we will require to be a doctor. The exams are held for our better preparation.
Other: I chose this course because I was always interested in knowing about the human body and medicine. The course is a little stressful. The events and fests at our college are organised very well.

Really good campus infrastructure and surrounding environment.
Placements: A batch of 150 students in the year 2017 started their MBBS course, admitted on merit via the NEET UG examination. A course is spread over the duration of 5.5 years, including 1 year of internship, which is allotted in the Civil Hospital, Himmatnagar, which is on the campus itself. An internship is offered once the student clears his final-year university exam. The internship stipend provided is INR 2 Lacs 18 thousand per year. Once the internship ends, students have to apply for registration at their university and then at the state council to get their MBBS graduate degree. For postgraduate courses, the National Medical Council of India conducts the All India PG Entrance Exam (NEET PG).
Infrastructure: The college started in 2015, so the infrastructure is relatively new and gives off a fresh vibe. The hostel is within the campus, and the rooms are clean and well maintained. There are three separate hostels: girls', boys', and PG doctor's. Since the campus is on the outskirts of the city, away from the crowded residential area, it provides a peaceful environment for studying the demanding medical UG and PG courses. There are separate Reading rooms on each of the three floors of the college building, which are open 24/7. There's a library where most of the medical books are available, which can be issued in slots, each slot being for a week. After a week, the book needs to be reissued. There's a computer lab with Wi-Fi available and open for the use of students during college hours, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. The mess in the hostel and college canteen provides good food.
Faculty: The MBBS course has a total of 19 subjects spread over a period of 4.5 years. 3 preclinical,  4 paraclinical, and 12 Clinical subjects Each faculty member is a qualified doctor (MD, MS, DNB, etc.). In their respective branches, pre- and para-clinical subjects are well taught by the faculty members in college. There are various field visits planned by the faculty members as well for the Community medicine subject. Talking about the clinical subjects, the more effort you put into the hospitals, the better you learn from the doctor faculty members. The exams are conducted at regular intervals. The exams in a period of each year are conducted as below: 2 internal exams, 1 preliminary exam, and then the final university exam. Each exam has a theoretical and practical component. Practical exams for clinical subjects are conducted in the hospital setting Next to the patient assigned to you for exam purposes. The hospital is within the campus itself, with moderate patient flow and most of the basic facilities available. (An MRI facility is currently available.) Each student has to score more than 50% of the marks in each subject to clear their university exams. The pass percentage of the students is approximately 90 to 95%. Also, at present, the majority of departments have postgraduate diploma and DNB courses. PG courses at the college have started in the last 3 years.
Other: The campus provides good enough opportunities for extracurricular activities, as there's a separate badminton court and football and volleyball grounds. College fests (named Phoenix) are superbly organized every year. Food and grocery shops are within reach just outside the campus. Student's section seems to be poorly functioning and not up to the mark, but with bits of struggle that too can be handled.

Satisfied with this college.
Placements: It is different in medical colleges. You need to pass NEET PG to get admission. In short, your placement (PG college) solely depends on your scores and your reservation category, which helps a lot. An internship is compulsory at your own college; that is fun.
Infrastructure: The food quality is poor. The library is good. The hostel is good. The restrooms are not up to normal standards. PG hostels are way better than UG hostels. The ground-floor library has good AC. The library has computers that can be used. The second-floor library is where interns and doctors study.
Faculty: Passing the examination is manageable. Teachers are supportive if you want them to help you. This college belongs to HNGU, so one doesn't need to go to other colleges for the practical examination; the exam is taken in the same college you studied in, so familiarity is a big factor.
Other: It was random.

The infrastructure is good; hostel facilities are average. Academic satisfaction is good.
Placements: After completion of the course, you have to complete a 1-year internship, and you will receive a stipend of INR 18200 per month. And during that time, you can prepare for the PG entrance examination. You can also apply for the post of JR after completion of MBBS. And you have to do compulsory bond duty for one year.
Infrastructure: The food quality is average in the mess, but you can eat in front of the college. The college infrastructure is good and started in 2015. The PG hostel is good with personal washrooms (new batches are given a stay in the PG hostel). The UG hostel washrooms are not good, but the rooms are good. The canteen is good. The library is also good. There is also a library with computers. Reading rooms are also good. The gym contains two table tennis tables. Gym equipment, cloud Bluetooth speakers, etc. are all working properly.
Faculty: In 1st and 2nd year, you have to attend lectures; in 3rd and 4th year, mostly, you have to learn on your own. Faculty members are good, and the passing rate is good. The pharmacy department is strict. The anatomy department is very good at teaching. The biochemistry department was good in our time, but now they have only one professor.
Other: At the time, college was new. The biochemistry department was the best. Our batch was in 2017. Every year we celebrated freshers, Navratri, Ganesh, the annual sports fest, and some other extracurricular activities like quizzes, etc. You can get a scholarship. I want to improve the drinking water supply in college. In an internship, you will learn basic medical skills but not how to diagnose or prescribe.

It is a good college for a good career.
Placements: Around 90% of students get placed in our course. The highest salary package offered is 10 LPA and the lowest salary package is 7 LPA. Top recruitment is provided by private hospitals. Some students don't opt for placements and go for higher studies.
Infrastructure: Library of our college is good. Hostel rooms are very good and it serves good food. Labs and playground are good. Many facilities are available outside the campus for food and other things. Connectivity facility of our college is satisfying. All the floors in the college have water coolers, etc.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are helpful, very good, cooperative, well-qualified, and knowledgeable. They clear the doubts of the students whenever needed. The course curriculum is relevant. Around 85% of students pass the exams.
Other: Events and games are organised in our college on time. It is a safe college for students. Our batch consists of 200 students.

Review of GMERS Medical College, Himmatnagar.
Placements: There are no placements. You have to do a 1-year, paid internship. Internships are offered in different departments with varying roles.
Infrastructure: Hostel facilities are available. The rooms provided in the hostel are very good. They provide 3-seater rooms. The rooms are cleaned every other day. The mess is also decent. A library is available with almost every type of book, including books by foreign authors.
Faculty: Faculty members are well-trained and very supportive of students. All of them have MDs in their respective departments. The course curriculum is relevant. The teaching method employed by professors is very good and easily understandable.
Other: The motive behind choosing the course is that I liked studying medicine since childhood. Every year, there is one annual fest that comprises sports competitions, singing, and dancing.
