Nothing can replace my college.

Placements: As I am still studying in the 2nd year, I have seen my seniors getting placements. Frankly our college has one of the best placement facilities. They train the students very well for placements. Good salary packages are available. 60-70% of students get placed.

Don't expect the placement here.

Placements: The placements offered for our senior batch students was not good and not many IT companies or MNC companies visited our college. Most of the companies visited were BPO companies. Only 51 % students, i.e., 217 students were placed in the year 2017 out of 430 students. The highest salary offered was about 3,6000 PA which is relatively low as compared with the other college's recruitment. The average salary offered was about 2,40000 PA which is about 20,000 PM. Most of the roles offered for the st...

Great infrastructure, good facilities and good placement with a few good companies.

Placements: Considering the local area, GMIT has good placement records but the companies which come are not well-recognized companies. We get very few big companies. In our seniors batch, 70% of student were placed but only 10% of students got a good package. Highest package offered is 18 LPA by West line shipping management company Pvt limited. Lowest is 1.9 LPA by one BPO. This year, placements are not good as last year, but are still okay.

I'm satisfied with this college.

Placements: In our batch, only a few students got the highest percentage of 75%. Almost 60% of students failed, and the average percentage of students was 40-45%. In our batch, only a few students got internships, and some companies came to select interns, like Wikipedia and some others.

I had a very good college life, good teachers and team building programs were very helpful.

Placements: We had a batch of 40 students and 6 of us got campus placement and some of my other friends continue their education. We had many mnc came up for the campus placement like wipro, Infosys etc. But I expect many more companies to come in future.

I suggest others to think before joining here.

Placements: Placements here are poor, especially for students studying in mechanical engineering. Most of the placed students are working in the IT sector or working in low paying low skill core industries. Fewer companies are interested in hiring these graduates nowadays.

Good college to enjoy 4 years.

Placements: Placements are good only for IT department. There is no core mechanical companies visiting for campus recruitment in our college. This College is like a school, there is no quality education in GMIT. No good faculty in mechanical branch. The principal do not support any extra curriculum activities.
