Placements: The companies like L& T, E&Y, Deloitte, etc. came for the placement to our college with a decent package. Many other companies also come for placements, but it's off-campus. The students, who are seeking jobs after the graduation can come to the college and take admission, but it has a higher cutoff.
Placements: Here, 2-3 companies every year come for the placements. Also, less than 10% students get placed here. The stipend offered is also good. The roles offered here to the students are the artisans and assistants. The average package offered is Rs. 3 lakhs per annum. There is also no placement cell here and not all the companies visit for the placements.
Placements: I am currently an article assistant at PwC India. Nowadays, the college also offers placement at other big 4's like Deloitte, KPMG and EY. They offer 100% placement. The other companies which came were Future First, TCS, Google, etc. All the students who opted for an internship were successfully placed.
Placements: There is placement facility. 3 of the big 4 companies come to our college for placement and offers the post of assistant auditor. E&Y, Deloitte and KPMG visit the college. Many more companies like Wipro, Godrej etc. offers a very good package. The package is around 2.5 LPA to 3 LPA. 30% to 35% of the students get placement. There is a placement cell in the college.
Placements: They give placements in Wipro, TCS. It is not very frequent that every year students get a chance to these placements. Moreover, the students opting for CA CS aren't included or allowed to participate in the interview for placements. The package given was around 2.8 LPA to 3 LPA. Very few students got through like 2-3 students. Most of the students apply for CA and CS.
Placements: Goenka offers excellent placements to its students. Many reputed audit firms come to recruit students as associates even MNCs like Wipro also recruit students along with PGDM courses. They are offered good packages considering at B.Com level they get around Rs. 18,000- Rs. 22,000 per month in hand salary. Not only for B.Com it also provides campusing for M.Com and MBA students as well with better packages. Goenka college provides the best value output ratio considering its monthly fees to the pa...
Placements: Many of the big corporates visit the college for the campus placements. The recruitment process is involving and interesting. Around 10 - 15% of the students get placed every year. Many of the students in the college does CA/CS, so less number of students appear for the college campus. So the students appearing for B.Com (H) only, have the higher chances of getting placed in the college campus recruitment. Many of the companies like EY, PWC, ICICI Bank, KPMG, and many others visit the campus. Th...
Placements: Around, 4-5 companies have come for the placements, and they offer an average package of 4 lacs per annum. They offer all types of job facility with a better package. KP&G, Godrej, etc., are such companies visit our college for the placement opportunity, and they have a simple way of recruiting the students.
Placements: During the time of final year, various private enterprises like Wipro, TCS, HSBC bank came for campus recruitment, but the chances of students get selected is little. The salary offered by them will range from Rs. 20,000 to Rs. 35,000 per month, so the maximum students go for the further studies instead of working right after the graduation.
Placements: The placement cell of Goenka College is active, and there are a lot of good companies, which come every year for the placements. In 2017-18, the average placement package was around Rs. 2,50,000 to Rs. 3,30,000 per annum. And to get a good placement, the minimum requirement is 60% in the 1st and the 2nd year, and a few companies require less than that.
Placements: Many multinational companies have given placements in our college. Most of the students whose attendance and performance is pretty good got the placement in our college. This college is the chief attraction for the multinational companies in Kolkata.
Placements: The placements can be better. More number of companies are needed to be brought to the campus though. The placement procedures generally took place outside the campus. No internship was offered for B.Com (Hons). The senior batches are all doing good in their respective fields. Most have opted for job interviews from outside the college.
Placements: Goenka college offers fantastic placement opportunity to the students studied there. Top MNCs like Wipro, KPMG, L & T, EY, Amazon etc., visited our college for recruitment. They offered average salary starting from 3.6 LPA to 9.20 LPA to the recruited students.
Placements: It is sad to say that the college does not provide its students with any placement opportunities. It is very derogatory for students more because the cut off of the college is never below 90%. After having scored well on boards, we put our faith in the college that it would provide us with a platform wherein we can try and make our lives better. Sadly, Goenka has nothing but the name .
Placements: The placements in GCCBA are very good and one of the best in Kolkata. In 2017, many companies like Amazon, Ernst & Yount, Larsen & Toubro, Godrej etc. came offering packages starting from 2.5 LPA, and many students were benefitted from the placements. A placement committee is made where two students (1 boy and one girl) are selected as the representatives of the committee.
Placements: Placements in the college are good. The college provides placements to most of the students. However, the packages provided by the companies are low. In 2017, many companies like EY, Futures First, HSBC, Amazon, Godrej, etc., visited the college and hired the students. The best package was provided by Futures First, and the rest all were on the same page.
Placements: The placement cell in the college works well. The previous batch, as well as our batch, were offered campus placements from reputed organisations like KPMG, EY, Capgemini, Godrej, L&T, PWC and other few companies. The average salary package offered was around 4 LPA. The salary range varies from company to company, and also on the roles offered. The roles offered to the students were of junior accountant, associates, sales executives etc.
Placements: Deloitte, E&Y, LG and many other companies were available for placement. The package offered was good by most of the companies. Our seniors didn't have their placements as it started 1st from our batch onwards. So, I expect it made significant progress from now.
Placements: One of the most respected commerce colleges of Kolkata, GCCBA offers enough opportunities for its students to excel in both studies as well as other activities. Some premium companies like L&T, MGH, HSBC, Futures First, etc. recruit the students. The placement opportunities are good with most of the companies offering an average CTC of Rs 25,000-30,000 within India, which is good for graduates with no other professional degrees. On an average, around 50-60% students are offered placements but fr...
Placements: Placements were not a trend as people opted for higher studies like CA and M.Com. Very few companies come for placements like Berger Paints, Verity Solutions and Future First with roles like analyst. The highest package was around 8 LPA. The internship was not compulsory.
