Take this as an honest review.
Placements: Government law college stands as an institute with a rich legacy in legal world. And one of the popular college in. For law, the best college one of the notable features of the college is that it has regular competitions like moot courts legal aid visits and many more .
Infrastructure: It is very hard to get into the college hostel. There are very limited seats. But if you can try with a minimum income certificate, you can get into it. Food is the worst part; you have to manage it. But if you have a nice political background, you can crack into the hostel, as it has the best location any hostel can have in Mumbai, being 2 roads away from the college and 600 meters away from Marine Drive.
Faculty: It has the best faculty and teachers. But attendance is not an issue at the college. Students usually bunk classes and just appear for the exam. Faculty does not work or seriously like taking attendance and other chores. Teachers are mostly absent.
Other: Location is the best for this college as it is near Mumbai High Court.

Absolutely satisfied with everything at GLC, Mumbai.
Placements: The placements of GLC, Mumbai is the best one an institution can provide. There are some top tier law firms in Mumbai which require a GLC degree. There are some top companies recruiting from the college. Mostly all of the students get placed in a good company.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is pretty much dedicated to studies with no college ground for sports. But yes, it does have a huge library with a lot of books and other facilities available for studying. It also has a well-equipped auditorium. The canteen is currently unavailable during the pandemic.
Faculty: The faculty of GLC id the best. It is skilled and knowledgeable. The curriculum is relevant to the students and makes them industry ready. They are interactive and are ready always to help you out. Also, there are some renowned faculty members for some subjects.

Good placement opportunities.
Placements: The college has good placement opportunities, but there is a need for more support in securing internships. While top companies recruit, students often struggle to find internships on their own. The college should provide better guidance and resources for internships, such as workshops, networking events, and partnerships with companies. Internships are essential for building practical skills, and more assistance in this area would greatly improve career readiness and job opportunities after graduation.
Infrastructure: The classrooms are fully air-conditioned and equipped with smart classrooms. The infrastructure is well-maintained. Our campus has five canteens in total, with one main canteen and four stalls around the campus. The sports facilities are decent and include a girls' common room and an indoor badminton court. The library is also well-equipped with a wide variety of books, providing a peaceful environment to study.
Faculty: Our department has well-qualified teachers who are always willing to help students eager to learn. The course offered to us is up to date and relevant. The semester exams can be a bit difficult, but if you study regularly, you can easily cover the syllabus and score good marks.

It is one of the best law colleges in India.
Placements: Almost 90-95% of the students who sat for placements got placed. The salary package offered is not disclosed, but as per seniors, the average salary package offered is 4-8 LPA. Sometimes it also goes as high as 12-14 LPA. Well-known corporate and litigation law firms participate in placements like Trilegal, AZB and Amarchand Mangaldas. Many average and small law firms around the fort area recruit student's from GLC. Some students got placed through PPO, and some opted to pursue further studies. Students intern throughout the year, and the placement committee looks after the internships and acts as a platform between students and firms. Roles offered are research work, paperwork, drafting and attending court and helping associates in internships.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure has been revamped recently, and it is totally new and excellent with a mixture of modern and old touches as the college is more than 90 years old at the current location. Wi-Fi is available. There is a state-of-the-art library that houses books related to the law and legal fields, and it also has some rare and unique books. The original Indian Penal Code and various British Indian government documents and papers are kept securely. There is a hostel right behind the college, which houses students across 3-4 government colleges. Boys' hostel and girls' hostels are situated in and around 3-4 km from college. There is a decent canteen, and there are plenty of options to eat according to students, which is very student-friendly.
Faculty: Faculty members are excellent in teaching and very helpful to every student. They are also very well-qualified and well-experienced. Few professors like Pithawalla have been teaching here for more than 40 years. The curriculum is a bit outdated as the college is affiliated with the University of Mumbai, which needs updates according to industry standards from time to time. Exams are pretty decent level if you have studied well and you can clear them. The passing percentage is in the range of 80-85%.
Other: I have chosen this course because it is totally value for money and one of the most affordable fee structures compared with any law college in Mumbai. It is Rs. 6,000-12,000 for aided and unaided for a year. There is a different fee structure for the reserved category, which helps students coming from oppressed communities or economically weaker sections from EWS general category. Campus and college life are pretty average, and students should definitely join college committed to making good friends and hang out around at least in the initial years. There is an annual college fest, other events, etc. Various scholarships are provided.

I feel the honour to be a part of this privileged college.
Placements: The average salary package bragged by GLC students is probably 12 LPA. The top role offered in our course is a legal advisory. Almost every student is bound to get an internship. I think every student who managed to join GLC is due to its ultimate academic performance, which is consistent.
Infrastructure: Our college is pretty impressive, and the cleanliness and hygiene have never been a problem. There are air-conditioned labs, and the college office has a huge capacity also. Our college is located right next to Marine Drive. The food served here is amazing, and you can totally rely on the college.
Faculty: The staff members are very cooperative here and very kind to help, which has never been a problem in this college. The exams conducted here are pretty competitive in terms of difficulty level because students from all over Bombay with an absolute performance join our college.

One of the best Law college in Mumbai.
Placements: The highest placement offers are between 22-25 LPA, the average is between 13-15 LPA, and the lowest is 5-6 LPA. Top recruiting companies include Morgan Stanley, SAM, CAM, AZB LEGAL, etc. These companies offer top roles such as paralegal and legal associate for the country's top law firms.
Infrastructure: The library at Government Law College, Churchgate is a peaceful place for students to study. The college canteen is very good and affordable, and the food is of good quality. The canteen serves a variety of food, including Indian and Chinese cuisine. The library also has WiFi networks available to students.
Faculty: The permanent faculty are extremely easygoing and qualified. The visiting faculty are a mixed bag; some are great, and some are not so great. The semester exams are easy to pass, but it's difficult to score average marks. The pass percentage is 90%. The curriculum is based on the University of Mumbai, and it makes students industry-ready after five years.
