Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharma.) - Batch of 2026
3.8
4Placements3Infrastructure4Faculty3Crowd & Campus Life5Value for Money
Value for money and it is better than private colleges.
Placements: 75% of students are placed from this college. The highest package is INR 3 lacs per annum, the lowest package is about INR 1.5 lacs per annum, and the average package is INR 2–2.5 lacs per annum. Top recruiters from this college are Cipla, Mankind, etc. About 100% of students get internships at companies like Sun Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd. The top roles offered in my course are quality control, pharmaceutical research, etc.
Infrastructure: Wi-fi facilities are not available here; classrooms are new; and libraries are also available here. Hostels are totally new and mess facilities are available here. Food is also good, but in hostels, mandatory facilities like medical, sports and games activities are not available.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful but there is a shortage of teachers. there teaching quality is good. All the courses available here are curriculum-relevant. Semester exams are a little tough here. 25 marks are internal and 75 marks are external, in which you have to score 50% of the total.

It's a average college with average ranking and sometimes, even below average acts.
Placements: Almost 70% of the student got internships. The average package is around 2.5 LPA, the minimum is 1LPA and the highest is 5LPA. Companies like Sun Pharma and Alkane visit here. A lot of people got placed in the field of research and development of medicine.
Infrastructure: Except Wi-Fi, almost everything is available. All the kinds of labs and equipments are available. The library is really good and the labs are well maintained and modern. Almost all the students get hostel facility. Sports equipments are available and the college campus has quite a decent space. Canteen is not available and medical facility isn't available. Campus crowd is decent.
Faculty: The teachers are quite knowledgeable but they aren't helpful and they barely take any classes. They do conduct labs though. Teaching quality is not good. Teachers are busy in themselves and office work. The course curriculum is relevant and it can make students industry ready. One thing to remember, students do their own bit for the exams and no teacher is going to help, as the classes aren't conducted regularly.
Other: I was interested is medical field so I pursued this course. This course helps us explore both engineering and medical Science at the same time which makes us better than others. Rather than theoretical, it should be an experiment course. Almost all the events are celebrated here and the crowd really looks great at the time of events. Campus is situated in City area of there is no connectivity issue. Campus surrounding is quite good. Students do get scholarship and extracurricular activities are being done on time to time basis. Only seniors actually help their juniors, no one else helps students.

Absolutely dissatisfied from this college because of placement and faculty.
Placements: This college offers courses like Diploma in pharmacy, a Bachelor's in Pharmacy and Masters in pharmacy. There is no campus placement in our college. One can get admission to this college by cracking an entrance exam which is BCECE. There is no recruitment by companies.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is very poor. No, Wi-Fi is not available. The library is available. Labs are available in this college. There are separate labs for the different subjects. The hostel is not provided yet. The classroom is better. The classrooms are spacious, neat and clean.
Faculty: Teachers are not so helpful except few. Semester exams are moderate in difficulty.
7 CGPA is average. The teaching qualities are very low. There are not enough teachers to teach in this college. Yes, the course makes the students industry-ready. Some teachers are helpful.

Government Pharmacy Institute Patna, Good infrastructure and new hostel .
Placements: There is a placement cell but students generally does not get placement by college. They have to use there own sources for placement. In 7th semester, internship is provided but that is also limited for some students only. Students have to use there own sources for even internship.
Infrastructure: College campus is good. There are many classroom and library is also there. Laboratories are also. There are three college hostel in college campus of which two is newly constructed. One is for girls. One is for boys. One is old hostel which is functional.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful. They teaches both Bachelor and Diploma courses. They will now also teach for master courses as there is Master of Pharmacy available now in this college. Semester exam are very difficult. College is affiliated to Aryabhatt Knowledge University.

It is a good government college with good infrastructure and facilities.
Placements: There is no specific placement cell here. But many alumni are in reputed pharmaceutical companies. Students need to search for placement on their own. Since it is a pharmacy college you can get placement in top companies. You can also go for M. Pharma by cracking entrance exams. In the upcoming year, our college wilL also offer an M. pharma course.
Infrastructure: Classrooms, library, laboratory, hostel, college campus, and everything is good. But the front building of the college is old. There is one old hostel which is only for boys. Currently, no girls' hostel is available. Two hostels are under construction, one for boys and one for girls.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are very helpful. The teaching ecosystem is very fine. Classes are held regularly. Attendance is compulsory. It is mandatory to have 60% attendance to give exams. End-semester exams are quite difficult. There are no late sessions to date. Overall everything is fine.
Other: B.Pharma and D Pharma courses are available here.

It is the best government pharmacy college for B.Pharma and D.Pharma.
Placements: Many students are pursuing a B.Pharma course, but very few companies are interested in placements. Apart from the campus, there are lots of students doing a job in many private firms. As per the B.Pharma degree, there is no scope of campus placements, but we get lots of opportunities. We can get a job with a minimum salary of Rs. 15,000 per month and a maximum salary of Rs. 28,000 per month.
Infrastructure: The college provides excellent facilities like we have an old and a new building where we have a library, RO water, well-equipped labs, and the sports equipment is available for almost all of the students in the college. Our college is one of the old and best government pharmacy college in Patna.
Faculty: Teachers are quite knowledgeable and helpful. There is a need for improvement in the technique of study pattern. Teaching quality is friendly. The course curriculum is relevant, but it needs a little improvement to make students ready for industry.
Other: The college is the best known for the function on every occasion, and it also had all the functions lined up in a row.
