Review of Government Polytechnic College, Kaimur.
Placements: There is a placement department in our college, but it is not too active. The placement quality is not good. About 30% of the students get placed every year. Another reason behind this condition of placement is lack of industry in Bihar. Top recruiting companies like DRDO, IOCL, etc., visit our college for placements. Almost all students got an internship every year in summer.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is not satisfactory. There is a huge mechanical lab in our college. Our college provides separate labs for other branches like civil and electrical. There is a huge computer lab with about 200 computers. Our college also provides a CAD lab. Our college provides Wi-Fi facility with high-speed. There is a huge library inside the campus with essential books. Our college provides a boys hostel inside the college for students who come from other district and states.
Faculty: Faculty members in our college are well-qualified from the reputed institutes of our country like NITs, etc. All faculty members are highly skilled and helpful. Their teaching quality is good. The course curriculum is relevant, and it is well-designed.
Other: I have chosen this course because of my interest. At the start of the new session, the welcome party is organised by the seniors to their juniors. At the end of the year, the annual function is celebrated. Our college also organises tech fest every year.
