Review of Government Polytechnic College, Kullu.
Placements: Around 45% of students were placed in this course. The highest salary package offered was around 12 LPA. The lowest salary package offered was 3 LPA. The average salary package offered was 4 LPA. Tata and Hitachi were the top recruiting companies. Around 20 students got internships out of 80 students.
Infrastructure: Classrooms, laboratories, and library were well maintained by the staff, and all practicals were performed. Wi-Fi speed was good in this college. I had to live in a rented room, because hostel rooms were not available. Hostel rooms were good and spacious. In the first year, students had to share their rooms with other students, and later, they can get individual rooms.
Faculty: Teachers were good, and they teach students very well. Maximum teachers were highly qualified. Semester exams were hard, and the pass percentage was 78-81%. This course curriculum makes students what they want to become.
Other: I chose civil engineering, because I want to become a civil engineer although I am working at a bank right now. I am very satisfied with this degree.

Good college with good infrastructure.
Placements: Almost 60% of students are placed every year in good companies. The package is between RS 30000 to 1LPA. The package is very good in the beginning. Most of the companies provide extra facilities of b tech. Students with high Knowledge are placed at the high posts.
Infrastructure: The college has 3 buildings with high-quality labs, Labs are designed with the best learning equipment. All blocks have Wi-Fi facilities. It has three computer labs with high-quality computers and Wi-Fi facilities. The girls' hostel is already there and the boys' hostel is under construction.
Faculty: All staff members are highly qualified. They help all students in other studies. The workshop facility is very good which makes students Industry ready. 1&2 semester is very easy for nonmedical students but a little bit difficult for arts or metric pass students.
Other: To start engineering I choose this course. The quota system should be made better. Because here scholarships are only for SC, and ST students, and for the general category, there is no scholarship and fee reduction.
