It is a good college in terms of education, but there is a bit of a lack of infrastructure.
Placements: As this is a medical college, placements are less as some people intend to open their own clinics, but you can get a job in any hospital after passing out from here. The starting salary offered to the students ranges from Rs. 15,000-45,000 per month from the beginning and increase according to experience. Roles like medical officer or resident are offered to the students.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is good. All the minimum things needed in the college are available. All the departments are well-equipped. The hostel itself has a mess inside, so there is no need to go out for food. The food served in a mess is not that good, but hostel food is the same, and one needs to adjust.
Faculty: All the teachers are well-qualified. They are masters in their department. They are more friendly and helpful. BAMS has only four exams if you pass properly, and there is an exam for every 6 months. It has Ayurveda in it, so it has Sanskrit in it, and it is too difficult to understand. The minimum pass percentage is 50%.
Other: I have chosen this course because trying for MBBS could not qualify for it, so I got into BAMS. The best thing about this course is we get to know how much Indian medical science was developed 1000 years ago. All the events are organised in the best way, and December is the month of fests.
