College Life as a Roller Coaster

Placements: As a government college, no placements are offered by the college itself. Internships must be applied for personally by the students, and the college has no role in this. After completing a B.Sc., the maximum job offer is around 20K per month (approximately 2.5 LPA), so students often prefer to pursue an M.Sc. or competitive exams.

The environment of the college makes us feel like we are in Bollywood type college.

Placements: I am not getting a single job. There is no one talking about a career after graduation. They are not aware of placements. Every time, we ask about placements. They have only one option to tell us and that is government exams or other competitive exams.

I am little bit dissatisfied because of not getting placement but the infrastructure is good.

Placements: About 15% of students get placed every year. The highest salary package offered is 4.5 LPA, 1.5 LPA is the average salary package, and 1 LPA is the lowest salary package offered by various companies like WaytoWeb Pvt Ltd. About 25% of students get internships on average. Top roles offered in our course are junior developer, front-end developer, and web development.

Infrastructure is brilliant, and it was constructed during the British era.

Placements: Microbiology students got placed in QC and R and D Department. Mostly after M.Sc from the department of this college, most of the students prefer to pursue a PhD, so they don't take much advantage of the placement scenario. Only 17 seats are available for M.Sc. microbiology.
