B.Tech. in Artificial Intelligence and Data Science - Batch of 2028
3.6
3Placements5Infrastructure4Faculty4Crowd & Campus Life2Value for Money
New and Budding College, well-equipped Infrastructure and Facilities.
Placements: For particularly USAR, the 2025 batch is the first one for placements, and on the basis of Phase 1 of the placement season, the stats are disappointing. Till now, ~10% of the batch has only been placed. The highest on campus is 21 LPA and the lowest is 2.8 LPA, with off-campus being 45 LPA. The top roles offered are SDE, Data Analyst, Software Engineer, and Jr. AI-ML Engineer. Top recruiting companies are Infosys, TensorGo, and McKinley Price. In terms of internships, the college is doing well, as there are 2 compulsory internships to be done by each student. Companies like DRDO and IBM are the ones where many people have gotten the internship. If someone doesn't get a tech internship, then they do a research internship under a college professor.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are well-equipped with smart boards, blackboards, and marker boards. The college provides Wi-Fi, which is okay (Max speed: 5 MBPS) in classrooms. There is a 2-floor library, which is kind of new, and there are only curriculum books there. Other books can be ordered on request.
Faculty: All faculty members are knowledgeable and qualified, but communication and helpfulness are an issue. A few are good at it, a few aren’t. Physics, Chemistry, Electrical, and ED are being taught in the first year, while they don't carry relevance in the tech fields. But the curriculum is well-designed and equipped with all the necessary requirements to be partly industry-ready.

B.Tech. in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning - Batch of 2028

A quick overview for life in USAR .
Placements: This college has some of the best courses in the computer field, such as AI, ML, this, IIOT, and Automation & Robotics. You will get prepared for all the latest technologies out there. The placement is above average, around 6 LPA minimum, and the highest around 28 LPA.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi wherever you go, whether you get anything else or not, you for sure get Wi-Fi all over the campus. Labs and classrooms would not make you feel old school and have advanced facilities. All labs have new and high-tech gadgets, instruments, and other furniture.
Faculty: The faculty are well and supportive. The curriculum, you can get by the name only, is surely industry-ready. Exams are moderate, if not tough. The course is structured well for upcoming technologies, and you will get ready for your career in the field of AI and Robotics.
Other: Fests and events will not get you bored for a week. Actually, in the first year, there are a bit fewer CS subjects, one in the 1st sem and one in the 2nd sem.

B. Tech. in Automation and Robotics - Batch of 2027

Good infrastructure and faculties; management and college life are very bad and hectic; no sports.
Placements: Placements have not started yet because college is very new and, up till now, only has 3rd year students. But according to these students, the highest on-campus PPO is 9.5 Lacs taken by 4 students in Infosys. Many other students also got offers up to 3 Lacs.
Infrastructure: Talking about infrastructure, as the college is very new, it is very good. You get big, spacious classes, smart boards, AC classes, etc. The college has Wi-Fi as well but it doesn't cover the whole college. The labs are good and have all the equipment for practicals. The computer labs have abundance of computers.
Faculty: The faculty is like any other college; some of them are very good and some of them are below average. The curriculum has been designed according to the jobs in future but in the first year, it is very hectic to keep up with. The curriculum is on a bit of a difficult side. Also, there are 2 exams per semester.

I think college infrastructure is very good and teachers are well-qualified.
Placements: 79 students got placed as of now (4 December 2024). The highest package was 12 LPA by RT Camps, the average is 5.8 LPA and the lowest is 3.6 LPA. CapGemini recruited the most students as of now. The highest role offered is Special Programmer by Infosys. Internship information hasn't been disclosed by the university yet, but many students got internships in DRDO.
Infrastructure: The whole campus has Wi-Fi, and the hostel has Ethernet with a top speed of 1GBPS. Classrooms are fully air-conditioned with smart boards. Bathrooms and washrooms are cleaned on a daily basis. There are 2 badminton courts on campus and 1 ground in which you can play cricket and football. Mess and canteen food is average.
Faculty: The teachers are helpful and well-qualified. They teach really well. The course curriculum is updated, and the university teaches us what the industry needs at present. Students are industry-ready. Semester exams aren't that difficult or that easy. 40% marks are the pass percentage.
Other: I chose this course because, in the modern world and in the future, the AIML branch is going to have scope. The college conducts too many events and fests. The campus crowd is very good. Seniors are very supportive. Connectivity is good too. The Blue, Pink, and Red lines are very near.

I'll suggest you this college.
Placements: This college was started in 2021 and offers a B.Tech course of 4 years. So, the first batch will pass out of the college in 2025. Therefore, we still don't have that much placement record as of now, but we came to know that some companies have visited the campus recently.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are of top-notch quality as every classroom has Wi-Fi, smart board, whiteboards, blackboard, centralized air conditioning, very good lighting, and comfortable sitting facilities. All of the labs contain important apparatus required for performing the given experiments.
Faculty: Most of the teachers are having their Ph.D. degree, and some of them are doing their Ph.D.s along with teaching. As of now, we have given only the mid-sem exam, and according to most of the students, exams weren't that tough that we can't even clear them. Still, only around 50% of students scored 40% of the marks.

GGSIPU EDC, USAR Review.
Placements: College or on-campus placement is done on the basis of the skills of the student and their CGPA. Many big MNC's and leading companies like Google, Microsoft, and Amazon, as well as mass recruiters like TCS and HCL, visit our campus to place skilled students. The average package offered here is around 7 to 10 LPA, and almost 60% of students got placements and internship opportunities.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of this college is amazing, as all buildings are newly constructed with fresh classrooms and smart boards for better teaching. All campuses are supported by a central air conditioning system with high-speed Wi-Fi provided all over campus. The labs are amazing, as they are newly made with the latest PC's and the latest equipment. The library is fantastic as it consists of a variety of books and magazines and is open until 8 p.m., providing hostel students with a with a healthy study environment. Hostels here are not good at all because they won't provide AC, and they also won't provide Wi-Fi. Mess food is not at all good; it's unhealthy and oily. Hostel authorities are not cooperative; they won't raise or support student complaints.
Faculty: The faculty provided here are nice, and they are also cooperative in many aspects, but courses are not completed most of the time by the faculty, and they just give them all as homework or say to do it yourself. In the beginning of the semester, classes are canceled and skipped because of which course is not completed on time, and then just before the exam, they start taking extra classes covering the semester syllabus in just one class. Faculty won't entertain any queries after class is over, and they also won't look for students queries in homework. The curriculum is moderate and challenging. The faculty members are highly qualified; they have PhD's from foreign institutes, IIT's, and NIT's. The teaching methods are good, according to me; they listen to every doubt, and the teaching method is simple and to the point. We also have doubt sessions, and some teachers do not mind answering questions even after the class. Semester exams are moderate, and the passing percentage is around 40%. .
Other: I choose artificial intelligence and machine learning because they are booming in today's world and have the best placement opportunities. I think that course should focus more on project-making and practicality than on theory, as projects are more important to gain industry insights and knowledge. Campus life here is not really good, as here hardly any event or fest is celebrated; only the annual fest (Anoogunj) is nicely celebrated. Almost 80% crowd is of boys here. Extracurricular activities and cultural activities are not really pushed by college. The college is within a 10-minute walking distance of the metro station, and the bus stand is just 50 meters away from the college, so connectivity is good.
