Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) - Batch of 2025

There are good placements every year and good infrastructure in our college.
Placements: In our college, almost 60-70% of students are placed every year. The highest salary package offered is 10 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 3 LPA and the average salary package offered is 6 LPA. ICICI Bank and many other banks and accounting firms visit our campus. There is no internship available in our courses. Top roles offered are accountant, assistant auditor, marketing executive, etc.
Infrastructure: There is very good infrastructure available in our college, which includes air-conditioned classrooms, a library, an auditorium, etc. The hostel is not available at our college. The canteen food is excellent. Our college has medical facilities and a sports ground. Sports are available at our college.
Faculty: Our teachers are helpful and well-qualified. They are very good at teaching. The curriculum is available for this course. Semester exams are not difficult in colleges if students are prepared for the exam. The pass percentage is 95%.
Other: I chose this course to do something else with it. This course is the easiest as compared to other commerce courses, and it is also helpful if you want to do anything else besides this course. More than 100 events are organised and scholarships are available at our college.

Our college is value for money.
Placements: Now, the placement process is still going on and actually at a low pace. Maybe it is because of the pandemic. Recruiting companies include ICICI Direct, HDFC Finance, Home First Finance, TCS, etc. Roles offered are basically for freshers and depends upon the type of company and its requirement. Operations and customer service officer are the kind of roles offered.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is good, and cleanliness is maintained everywhere. Infrastructure includes big classrooms, library, staff room, classes with PowerPoint services, canteen, etc. It doesn't provide a hostel facility. The canteen has normal food like samosa, puff, snacks, cold drinks, etc., and Chinese samosa is the best.
Faculty: Teachers are superbly qualified, and I specifically didn't need any extra classes or tuitions outside the college. The pandemic has changed everything, so online classes are being conducted, and it somehow becomes a barrier for teachers.

It is the best college for a bright future.
Placements: Almost every student got an offer from the company visited for placement. The highest salary package for B.Com pass-out students was 4 LPA and the lowest salary package offered was around 1.5 LPA. Companies like TCS and Wipro are top-rated companies visiting for placements. Accountant and accounting assistant roles were offered.
Infrastructure: Overall, the infrastructure is very well organised. Classrooms have a projector in each and benches are very comfortable. Campus has a Wi-Fi facility. There are labs for other streams also. Library is available to all streams and well-known publication books are also available. College doesn't have a hostel facility but there are many hostels near the college. The college canteen is big and sports quota is also available.
Faculty: Faculty members are highly qualified and have expert knowledge in specific subjects. The method of teaching is very simple. Students are not pressurized for results. College has six semesters like every other college. The pass percentage is almost 90%. This college is the number one college in Ahmedabad for commerce.
Other: I wanted to make my career in finance so I decided to pursue this course. The best thing about the course is that students get to know about practical problems and solutions in different work areas. Different types of events are held on different occasions.

It is an average college with good faculty members, but is no proper infrastructure and placements.
Placements: There is no placement committee in our college. There are more than 650 students in our batch. Only one professor manages all the placements. Current year, only ICICI Bank visited the campus for placements. A majority of the students participated in the placements drive of Gujarat University. Colleges don't provide any placements figures to students. Not many students took part in the placement drive.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure of the college is not good. There are old benches and no proper fans which makes it difficult to study in hot and humid climate of Ahmedabad city. Classrooms are huge and spacious. College does have a hall and auditorium but it is shared between GLS and HACC. Wi-Fi is not accessible to everyone. The library is huge but hardly any student visits it. The college doesn't provide any hostel facilities. Canteen is opposite the college. There is an amphitheater and sports ground.
Faculty: Professors in our college are excellent with high knowledge and experience. They are ready to help you not only in your studies but also if you are facing other problems. Principal sir organises various events now and then for students but doesn't encourage sports. The course is still old school type except for few subjects like taxation, law and commercial communication. There are internals and assignments every semester. No actual passing percentage is available but the majority of students get passed.
Other: This is a government college so fees are affordable and for girls they charge less fee. Sports activities are very less, and there is no sports day. Events are always held on campus. Our college provides scholarships to financially weak students. Patel Scholarship is offered and every year 5 students get a chance to study in NJCU, New jersey for an MBA program wherein they don't have to pay tuition fees for their MBA. But they have to pay other expenses of their own. College is opposite the law garden and food street. Don't expect lavish college life from here.
