I would recommend other students to take admission in Halim Muslim Post Graduate College.
Placements: In my course or batch there are 300 and above students studying. In this course approximately 3500 to 4000 package of one year. There is no company for recruitment there is CSJMU which recommend the good jobs to us.
100% students got internship.
Government jobs are also there.
Infrastructure: There are classrooms and a seminar hall with the projector and whiteboard. Sitting arrangement is very best. There is good facility in college. Food is available in canteen. Sports and games are available as per the subject you choose.
Faculty: The teachers are helpful, qualified and knowledgeable. Teaching quality is good. This course curriculum is relevant it makes the student industry ready. This is my first year of graduation. So, I don't know how difficult semester exams will be

The best Urdu department in Kanpur.
Placements: The placements are below average as of now. I don't think any companies are coming to our college for internships and placements. We have a placement cell, that cares about our placement and internship opportunities but the percentage of placement is very low. It is not a professional course by which you will get a direct job.
Infrastructure: Campus life is not amazing. The college infrastructure is not modern but quite good. We have a clean and spacious classroom, library, canteen, playground, and a garden. The college campus is equipped with a CCTV camera. Sports faculty is good, every year Sports Day celebration takes place in the college.
Faculty: The faculty member of our department are highly educated and professional. They are very supportive and helpful to every student. They are very punctual in classes and their teaching method is really good. If we have any problem and confusion on any topic, they solve it. The exam is conducted by the University of Kanpur.

Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) - Batch of 2018

It is a good college. Teachers are well educated. I had a nice experience here.
Placements: Students get around 50%-60% of marks. It depends on students how they perform in studies and attend morning classes in college or not. The highest course was B.Com, while the lowest course was B.Ed. There are no recruiting companies.
Infrastructure: Facilities are just average and not very fancy. There is no Wi-Fi, but there are labs, a library and classrooms. The quality of the classrooms is fine, and the campus is neat. There is no canteen, sports facilities and no medical facilities.
Faculty: Teachers here were pretty helpful during my tenure. They are well qualified and knowledgeable. They teach students in English in the class. If you ask something that you don't understand, they will explain it to you again. The curriculum is not relevant. Exams are neither very tough nor very easy and moderate. If students study easy notes provided before exams, they can easily pass.
Other: I chose this course because I passed out 12th from a commerce background. So I have to opt for it. The campus area should be improved, and classrooms should be neat and tidy. There are scholarship offers to students, and there is a crowd sometimes.

It is an old college but not the best.
Placements: The quality of placements is not good. There is no active placement cell in the college. All the students mainly opt for higher studies and want to engage in their respective fields. Students have to try to get jobs by themselves. So try to fetch on your own for good placements instead of the college authority.
Infrastructure: The college has all the necessary infrastructure and is well ventilated and has spacious classrooms, library, computer lab, playground, canteen, and good water facility. Sports facilities are also available but the campus building is not modern. There are two departments only and they are the art department and commerce department. But there are no security guards on the campus. Anyone can enter the college without any fear.
Faculty: Professors in our college are very helpful and kind. The quality of teaching is good. Teachers are full of knowledge and experienced but staff needs some enhancement in their methods of study for completing the syllabus. Our curriculum is up to date. Exams are conducted by CSJM University.

Halim Muslim Post Graduate College is a good college.
Placements: There are no placements offered in our college. This college does not offer placements for the graduate students of our stream. So try to fetch from your own for good placement instead of the college authority. Because there is no active placement cell in the college. The placement is an area of concern for the administration.
Infrastructure: Our college is one of the oldest PG colleges in Kanpur. The infrastructure is old but we have good and spacious classrooms. All the necessary facilities are available. There is a computer lab, auditorium, library, play area, and canteen. Sports infrastructure is also very well maintained.
Faculty: The faculty staff is very cooperative and helpful. All are well qualified and experienced. They also understand students' problems and try to solve them. Our curriculum is up to date with all the necessary details in every field. But staff needs some enhancement in their methods of study for completing the syllabus.

Completely satisfied as the course and facilities were good.
Placements: About 50% or more students got placed. Most of the placements were in start ups and private companies. More than 50% students got internship.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi was available in the college. There were no labs as there was no science department. The library facility was great. I was able to find almost every kind of book and article regarding the course and more. The facility of hostel canteen and medical was good.
Faculty: The teaching quality was good. Teachers were nice, humble and soft spoken. We could even approach them after periods and class timing. The course makes student ready for the industry. The semester exams were neither difficult nor easy.
Other: I chose this course because I wanted to make my career in this field and I am pretty good in it. The technology part could be much better as I felt the course lacks a bit of technical knowledge. It offers good connectivity, campus and scholarships.
