Haribhai V. Desai College review.
Placements: The highest packages were around 5 LPA, and about 30-40% of students were placed. However, most of the jobs were in BPO and not accounting. There were many organizations like WNS and Concentric. In the final year, the internship was compulsory, but the students had to find it themselves and the college didn't help.
Infrastructure: The library and all the labs are really great and specious. However, they do not have a hostel and auditorium. Also, the campus is very small. They had a canteen but after lockdown they closed it. They do have sports but as the college does not have the ground, they go to practice in a different college.
Faculty: They have several programs, events and fun activities. All the teachers are supportive and qualified. And they do conduct several tests apart from the university exams. They provide good knowledge. But the presentation is not compulsory so most of the students do not attend the lectures and study on their own.
Other: The crowd is not so good. But you can make the friends, as some of the people are good. I can say that the college is ragging-free. The college does participate in multiple competitions and they also conduct college competitions. The fees are very high for unaided people.

Review of Haribhai V. Desai College.
Placements: There was no placement drive for the college, but 1-2 companies visited in between curriculum. Approximately two to three students were chosen, and teachers provided a network of alumni as job opportunities.
Infrastructure: There is no Wi-Fi for students. The labs are good enough with sufficient seating capacity and the library is well maintained.
No hostel service is there. Local companies used to visit no such MNCs.
Faculty: Excellent teaching and teachers were very helpful.
Not very difficult; they are moderate, depending on your preparation for exam and most of them seem to be conducted by SPPU. The pass percentage is 40% overall but you need to score separately; there is no such thing as combined passing.
Other: The BBA CA course provides a perfect blend of it with management, and the best part is that you will gain both expertise and practical experience. The campus is small, hence there is no such fest; just once or twice a year, mega events happen.

Our college has only one building, and its fee is slightly high compared to the facilities provided.
Placements: There are around 80 students. Many students participated in placements in this course. Only 2 students were selected for the internship project. The highest salary package offered is 18 LPA. The average salary package offered is 11.4 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 12 LPA according to our past batches. I havn't spoke to students who got selected in past, so it may be wrong.
Infrastructure: Our college has only one building. Benches are very old. They need to be changed. There is no hostel. They charge extra money for the parking in our college. Our college has one library, labs for practicals, and a canteen.
Faculty: Faculty members are nice. Sometimes, they do not complete one or two chapters because the of short time available to complete all. They conduct very less curriculum activities but all are very effective like coding language, blind coding, etc.

A dynamic learning environment with strong industry alignment and abundant opportunities.
Placements: My course boasted an impressive placement rate of 90%, providing diverse opportunities in sectors such as applications, programming languages, and digital electronics. The highest package offered stood at 18 LPA, with the lowest at 12 LPA and an average of 11.4 LPA. Notable recruiters included Infosys, Accenture, and Wipro, with 70% of students securing internships.
Infrastructure: The department for my course featured state-of-the-art facilities, including high-speed Wi-Fi, well-equipped labs with advanced equipment, and interactive classrooms. The extensive library provided vast academic resources. Hostel facilities were comfortable with reasonable rates for MPSC and UPSC students. The canteen offered tables for students to enjoy tiffins and snacks at affordable prices. The campus also had a small playroom.
Faculty: The faculty for my course was highly qualified, knowledgeable, and dedicated to ensuring student success. Their consistent support contributed to a positive learning environment. The curriculum was relevant, ensuring students were well-prepared for specific course semesters, and it presented a challenging yet manageable structure. The pass percentage typically ranges around 75%.
Other: The practical approach to learning and the opportunities for hands-on experience were among the best aspects of the educational experience. Additionally, scholarships were available.

Faculty members are well qualified, so I am satisfied with this college.
Placements: There is no placement for graduate students in our college. Placement is for postgraduate students. So I don't know about the placements as much. I suggest they arrange placements for graduate students; it will help students get their first job or get an internship for their experience, and it will also help students gain knowledge about their course.
Infrastructure: Classrooms and laboratories are good. All the facilities for our practical work were good. The library is also there, and it is also good for your own studies. More books and articles are available for study. There is no hostel at our college. You have to look for PG rooms or hostels outside the college area.
Faculty: Yes, teachers are helpful and well-qualified. They have more knowledge about their specialized subjects. Yes, this course is curriculum-relevant, and it is making the students ready for industry.
Exams are a little bit difficult at this college, and the pass rate is about 90%.
Other: I chose this course because I was interested in microbiology. And the best thing about this course is that you are learning about the bacterial world and how it is affecting humans. It is interesting to learn this.

BCA programme with dynamic campus life at Haribhai V. Desai college.
Placements: During my time at Haribhai V. Desai College, approximately 75% of students from the BCA course were successfully placed through campus recruitment. The highest package offered was around 7 LPA, while the lowest was 2.5 LPA, with an average package of 4 LPA. Some of the top recruitment companies included TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Cognizant, and Capgemini. Over 60% of the students secured internships, with companies like Infosys and several startups providing these opportunities. Roles are software developer and system analyst.
Infrastructure: Haribhai V. Desai College offers a well-rounded infrastructure to support the BCA course. The college is equipped with high-speed Wi-Fi accessible throughout the campus. The computer labs are well-maintained, with up-to-date systems and software. Classrooms are well-organized with modern teaching equipment like projectors and whiteboards. The library has a vast collection of books, journals, and digital resources for the BCA program. Hostel facilities feature well-maintained rooms and basic amenities. The hostel is secure and clean. The canteen offers a variety of food, and the quality is generally good. The canteen provides snacks and meals at reasonable prices.
Faculty: Faculty of the college is known for being highly supportive, qualified, and knowledgeable, particularly in the BCA department. Most professors have advanced degrees and industry experience. The teaching quality is strong, incorporating both traditional and modern methods like group discussions, projects, and lectures.
Other: I chose the BCA course at Desai College due to my passion for Computer Science and the program's strong technical foundation. The course offers programming, database management, and software development. The practical lab and projects were particularly valuable for applying theoretical knowledge. The program is beneficial for the future, including fields like AI and machine learning.
