B.Sc. in Agriculture - Batch of 2023
1.8
2Placements2Infrastructure2Faculty1Crowd & Campus Life2Value for Money
If you want to play cricket and improve you can try.
Placements: The percentage of placement will be down to 20 -30%. The average salary package is around Rs.15000 per month. The companies are kind of local. I don't think students got internships from this college. They only select students from a specific state. Like students from these specific states is their favorite.
Infrastructure: The college infrastructure is just below average. There is no field. They have Wi-Fi but they haven't recharged until the last new admission. They have a library but we can't find the same book twice. There is only one lab and the equipment is less. The hostel food is really bad. They promote cricket.
Faculty: The faculty here is just for the experience. After a few years, they will change college and join another one. Few teachers are good, educated, and helpful. Few are here to help their favorite students. Exams are often happened but marking is according to the states they belong to.
Other: I just thought of quitting this course because of the college and the poor quality.

Satisfied with the college, but dissatisfied with the placements.
Placements: Placements in this college are not so good till now. Very few students got placed. The highest package offered is 5 LPA, and the lowest package is 3-4 LPA. The top recruiting company is Tata. The percentage of students who got internships from our college is up to 60-70%.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available, but mostly, it doesn't work, as per my experience. Labs are recently provided, and it is good for students to do experiments. The classrooms are good and comfortable. A library is available, but the books are not sufficient for students. They have to increase the books in the library.
Faculty: The teachers are very helpful and supportive. They motivate us in every aspect and encourage us in every work. The teaching quality is average, but most of the teachers are temporary ones. The curriculum is relevant and makes the students industry-ready.
Other: I chose the agriculture course because of my interest and its scope in the future. The college should avoid temporary faculty and recruit permanent ones. Books in the library must be increased. Events, fests, campus crowd, connectivity, extracurricular activities, etc., are good.
