Glimpse of my college Hims Sitapur.
Placements: A total of 5 batches study in the college. Every year, a new batch comes with a strength of 150 students. Moreover, from next year onwards, 250 seats will be available for MBBS students. There is very good clinical exposure for students, so there is a high chance of getting a job in a reputed hospital.
Infrastructure: Hostel fees are 1,50,000 per year (Non-AC). For AC accommodation, the hostel fee is 1,75,000 per year, excluding electricity charges. In one room, two or three students accommodate together. It is variable as per the strength of the batch. There is a separate hostel for boys and girls.
Faculty: Talking about the faculty, professors are highly qualified and experienced and teach each and everything very neatly and in simple language with practical examples. The course curriculum is updated according to the NMC guidelines. Lectures, clinical postings, and small group learning classes are the three phases of the daily teaching schedule under which students learn.
Other: Many events and ceremonies take place on the college campus. Saraswati Pooja, Dandiya Fest, Annual Fest, and many small fests are held on the campus.

Good infrastructure, but quite dissatisfied with power cutouts & water quality.
Placements: My batch is 2021. In a single batch, about 150 students are present. The batch is further divided into groups of 25 for clinical postings. Those who cleared NEET with at least 50 percentile are allowed admission to any private medical college, including this one. After completing your final year professional exam, after the results are out, you're eligible to be an intern at the medical college.
Infrastructure: Our college building has DH halls for anatomy and labs for other subjects, including biochemistry, physiology, pathology, and pharmacology, with all the necessary equipment. Further, we have skill labs where mannequins are present to practice skills. The building also has a library and an internal room consisting of various books available for different subjects. The lecture halls are equipped with air conditioning, which can be non-functional at times. But overall, the college administrative block provides a good environment for studying. College hostel rooms are spacious; one room is for 3 roommates with attached washrooms. Every single room has a balcony, too. The food in the mess is okay. The menu is diverse and is changed in summers and winters. Snacks are included in mess food too. Our college has different sports teams; the most influential of them all is our football team, which has won many tournaments across different colleges in the state.
Faculty: The teachers are very helpful and experienced in their field of work. They have full knowledge of what they're teaching. Lectures by a few teachers include interactive questionnaires, quizzes, and surprise tests. The curriculum is well managed, with tests at regular intervals for proper revision of our chapters. Even clinical posting has award-giving days. The difficulty level of exams is moderate. The discipline and strictness in exam halls make it more transparent and righteous.
Other: I always wanted to be a doctor and work in the medical field. That's why I chose this course. I want the education system to be more transparent and make it more easier for student to follow and study. It should not feel like a burden; instead, it should feel like something I'd love to study because I would be enjoying it. In our college, there are several events, including fests (in November), dandiya nights (in October), freshers, saraswati puja, Ganesh Chaturthi, etc. There are other celebrations as well, including sports activities, football intercollege matches, and intercollege competitions, be it debates or conferences.

Average, but value for money in college.
Placements: Students pass here and also get placements. Not a very high placement but a very average placement. Here, the highest package was 6 Lacs. Actually, this is a medical college, so there is not a big role for companies because doctors choose to work freely. 85-95% of students get internships, which are compulsory by NMC. The major role offered by my course is to serve humanity and create a healthy society.
Infrastructure: Here, at some places, Wi-Fi is available, but you will have to pay for it. There is an average lab for all the departments. Lecture theatres are not too good or too bad. Demo rooms are also available. Departmental libraries exist along with a central library that contains almost all the medical books. In the hostel, we get hot water to bathe. Some workers are available for room cleaning. A lift is about to be started in the hostel. There is also a playground. The mess serves fully vegetarian food; the food quality is alright. The canteen is not good. Medical facilities are acceptable, considering it's a medical college, so there are no major issues related to medical care. For sports, you can play cricket, football, badminton, volleyball, and table tennis. There is also a gym available for workouts.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful and qualified. The teaching quality is acceptable, and the courses in the college adhere to the guidelines of the NMC. It follows the rules of the NMC and, being affiliated with Atal Vihari Bajpayi University, the exams are regulated by the university. Semester exams are neither excessively difficult nor overly easy. The passing percentage ranges from 90-95%, which is considered a good percentage.
Other: Being part of this MBBS course fills us with immense pride as it serves humanity. It enables us to contribute towards creating a healthy society, and when the society thrives, it fosters a successful community that can propel the country to the top position. However, there are several areas for improvement within this course due to the high-pressure environment, with numerous demanding exams. The college lacks in organizing events and festivals, and while the campus is satisfactory, its connectivity is average, being situated near the national highway and close to Lucknow. The surrounding areas of the campus lack development, comprising mostly of a village, limiting places for leisure and enjoyment. Scholarships are awarded based on performance in professional exams, benefiting the top three students, but in comparison to fees, the scholarship opportunities are not substantial. Unfortunately, extracurricular activities have limited scope within this institution.

The degree is novel; admissions are noteworthy in our college with all facilities.
Placements: A total of 150 students are enrolled in MBBS at our college in one batch. Internships are mandatory at our college itself. Our seniors are getting jobs in top medical colleges and hospitals in India. Packages after MBBS from our college range from 6 Lacs to 12 Lacs per annum.
Infrastructure: The facilities in our college are good; we have a library, a good lecture theater, and Wi-Fi labs also. Hostels for the students are also very good. There are three-occupancy hostels for students, but the rooms are spacious and have attached washrooms.
Faculty: The teachers in our college are very helpful and have good knowledge in their fields. They solve all our doubts clearly. There is no semester system in our course; our curriculum consists of yearly university exams. Exams are difficult, and the passing percentage is above 85% for students out of the total.
Other: I chose MBBS because I want to be a doctor who saves the lives of their patients, and it is a very noble profession with high respect. Finally, the future is bright.

I am very satisfied with this college.
Placements: There were no placements in this college. Almost 100% of students got internships in this course. This college had good patient flow.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure was very good. Hostels were better. Triple-occupancy rooms were available in the hostel. Classrooms were well-ventilated. There were no free Wi-Fi services. We also had a central library in this college. Classrooms were air-conditioned. The food served in the mess was average.
Faculty: Teachers were helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The teaching quality was average. Most of the students focused on self-study. The course curriculum was relevant to make students ready for the real challenges. The passing percentage was 90%.
Other: Our college provided good education. It was one of the private colleges in Uttar Pradesh. The fee structure was reasonable. Sports competitions were conducted for 7 days.

Infrastructure: Our college has the best infrastructure with separate hostels for boys and girls. The floor is allotted to each batch. Our college comprises a multispeciality hospital, admin block, PGs residence, nursing college and hostel, MBBS college and hospital, and a playground. It is spread over 120 acres of land.
Faculty: Professors in our college are advanced with master's degrees in their respective departments. Education pattern in our college is based on integration study. Our college conducts 2 internal examinations, 1 terminal examination, and a unit-wise PCT for the practice of professional exams.
Other: Saraswati pooja, Dandiya fest, and annual fest are organised in our college. Scholarships, prizes, and medal distribution are provided in the annual fest which is Rs.25,000 for 1st rank holder, Rs.15,000 for 2nd rank holder, and Rs.10,000 for 3rd rank holder. Our college offers a cash prize and a certificate of excellence for the top three rankers and 4th and 5th rankers will get medals and certificates of excellence.
