Hislop is a wonderful college. I am satisfied because it has low tuition fees.

Placements: Around 70% of students are placed in industry. The lowest package is 4 lacs per annum, the highest is 14 lacs per annum and the average package is around 7 lacs per annum. TCS, Infosys, HCL, etc. are top recruiting companies. Manager, executive, and director are the top roles offered.

It is an affordable college.

Placements: Our college doesn't provide good placements. They don't help us with placements. Companies visit our college to recruit students. They provide job opportunities related to the field. Placements depend on students.

It is a good college, but some staff members are arrogant.

Placements: Local IT companies offer a job for students. Top IT companies do not visit our college for placements. Placements depend on your experience and skills. A software development role is offered by some companies. Roles like a social media executive and SEO are also offered to the students.

It has a good infrastructure. It comes under one of the best colleges in Nagpur.

Placements: Mostly all students get placed from the placement cell. The salary package offered to B.Sc. Physics and mathematics are low as compared to statistics and computer science courses. Generally, statistics students get placed with high salary packages and companies associated with the placements are much better in these branches.

The education provided is satisfactory, but the placements are not that good.

Placements: Due to Covid this year, the placements were very low, and no companies were coming to recruit students. Although the companies that came were quite good and selected many students. The education provided is good, and the staff are also very good. Practical sessions are held on time.

Overall, faculty members are excellent.

Placements: Internships start in the second year, and the college collaborates with different institutes for it. Deserving students get excellent placements. Because of the practical experience in the college, more knowledge is gained from the university.

Hislop College is the best for B.Com.

Placements: Almost 100% of placements are offered in our B.Com course. There is no highest package offered for our course. Internships are not provided in B.Com course. Limited companies offer jobs for students with less salary package. I think the salary package offered is not more than 2 LPA. There is no top role offered, and students pursue B.Com along with CA, etc.

I am satisfied with faculty members and placement, but I didn't attend placements.

Placements: Top roles offered in our course are related to biotechnology and its application. Roles offered are related to plant tissue culture, microbial culture and separation of microbial culture from other cultures. They teach every student enough to handle the role.

Review of Hislop College.

Placements: There are about 40 students in a class. For Psychology course, our college does not provide placements. Rather they help you with internships and other resources where you can join to explore more about Psychology. Overall, our college offers a good environment to focus well.

A good college. One can take admission but don't expect very much on the part of placement.

Placements: I am not exactly aware of the percent but many of my friends were placed with an average package of 3-4 Lacs per annum. Good college with good environment. Companies like HCL do come. Not many companies arrive at the college but those who come are good and reputed.

Our college provides good infrastructure and teaching. I am satisfied with college and facilities.

Placements: Placements on our campus were average. Some students got placed from college. The average salary package offered ranges from 2 LPA - 2.5 LPA. Many students were offered the role of accountant.

Hislop College is the best college to complete your graduation.

Placements: If you score a minimum of 60% in 12th standard, then you get admission in this college. The highest salary offered was 1 lac per month, and the lowest salary offered was Rs. 75,000 per month. The average salary offered was Rs. 80,000 per month. A top role offered to the students is an accountant manager.

It is the best place for biotechnology as it provides really good facilities for research purposes.

Placements: Generally, jobs offered for this course are lab technician, research assistant, in pathology, or in various pharmacological companies in R&D departments. Many students from our batch got internships in top reputed institutions. The average salary package offered in this course is 1.5 LPA, but students prefer to do M.Sc in this same course.

It is the right place for higher studies.

Placements: As the college was established in the year 2018, the first batch hasn't passed out yet. Since the college is located in Amravati, we can expect placements as many new companies are setting up in this area. Since our batch was started last year, no student can get placed right now. Nagpur University comes forward with international internships and semester abroad programme which are very helpful for students. The semester abroad programme is about pursuing their semesters in other countries.

Satisfactory but there is always room for improvement.

Placements: A lot of students focus on exams like NET and GRE and end up in Ph.D. programmes nationwide and in USA/UK. Other seniors have also been absorbed in biotech or pharma companies. The pay is decided on the basis of the fellowship obtained by clearing exams. I have been preparing for NET and already been teaching at another college as a contributory lecturer.

Placements, infrastructure, faculty, study and life in Hislop College, Nagpur.

Placements: The placements in our college are not that much good because I don't think many companies visit our college for placements. Some companies visit, and they offer Rs. 12000 to high-ranking students and 7000 to low-ranking students on an average. The companies like Infotech, Dell, and other software and hardware companies visit our college for placement of students for the computer course. Many companies visit for other branches also, but in fewer amounts.

It is a nice college and popular as well.

Placements: The placements are not that good because it didn't happen every year. Wipro and IBM companies usually come for placements, which is a good thing. Many students got placed, but it should happen every year. There are no placements for science students which should really take place.

Review of Hislop College.

Placements: Last year, only 55% of students were placed, with an average package of only 3 LPA. The recruiting companies were Wipro, Hexaware, and TCS, while top companies like Deloitte and KPMG selected only a few students who excelled in their curriculum and skills.

Nice faculty members and infrastructure.

Placements: Not much value is placed on placements, as it provides very few or no placement opportunities. As I am in the final year of this course and will graduate in 2024, I don't have much information about placements, but it doesn't hold much value in this regard. Speaking about internships, I can say that it is beneficial for acquiring this course. However, it may not be as advantageous for placements.
