Other: Hyderabad business school, a constituent unit of GITAM university located in the suburbs of Hyderabad namely Patancheru. It is about 7km away from Patancheru and very well connected with college transport system and as well as the road transport corporation of Telangana state. Recently, it has been shifted to its new campus which is just 1.2 km away from the old campus and it has built its own state of the art infrastructural facilities and quality infrastructure with a lot of greenery in and around the campus. It offers a two-year full-time MBA degree with marketing as a compulsory specialisation and another specialisation can be opted for. Its exams are conducted on a trimester basis where 8 subjects need to be cleared per each semester. It has an excellent intellectual pool of faculty headed by Mr SS Prasada Rao, dean and director. The sessions are very interactive on the campus, the computer lab and hi-speed Wi-Fi are another added advantage to the students as they can utilise the every possible resource like digital library online. It has a digital library and a good contact with the alumni. Almost 7 batches have been passed out from the campus, and the placements are also good with almost 75% of the people being placed. However, the packages are not more than rupees 5 lakhs and many of them being pool drives. So, this is one of the factors that needs to be improved. Separate hostel facilities for boys and girls are also available. The playground and gymnasium must be separately equipped for the MBA students so that health consciousness can be developed among students .The guest lectures are quite often conducted where several young entrepreneurs and other guest faculty members from various prestigious institutes like Indian institute of management come and deliver their valuable lectures. Adjunct faculty are also there to provide the industrial exposure to students in order to make them know about every skill that is required to master the industry. It’s a very good institute for those who are aspiring to fly a successful career over a strong Launchpad.
