    The duration of IIM Trichy DPM/PhD course is five-years. The maximum duration by which a candidate must complete the course is seven years. In the first eighteen months of the course, candidates have to complete a coursework, which includes study of general management subjects, advanced courses in the respective areas of specialisation, fundamental courses for management research, and programmes in research methodologies. Furthermore, aspirants have to earn at least a minimum of 54 credits.

    First class (or equivalent) in all the preceding degrees (post-graduation, etc.)

    An Emerging Research Hub.
    Placements: There's no placement per se for Fellows. The first Fellow has graduated from the Institute and received her fellowship just this year in 2018. As Fellows we receive a stipend of INR 30000 per month for the first two years and INR 36000 for the third and fourth year. Then there's a facility of Contingency Fund as well for various purpose that can be availed on need-to-need basis.
    Infrastructure: The state-of-the-art campus boasts of a huge Learning Resource Centre and upcoming Finance and Behavioral Lab. The entire campus is Wi-Fi enabled and LAN connection is provided to each room in the hostels and each seat in the classroom. The Sports Complex is expected to be ready by June 2018 with facilities of pool, table tennis and swimming among others. AC is provided in all the rooms in the hostels which are allotted on single sharing basis. Fellows after completing their CQE are also allotted their offices for research work on twin-sharing basis. Access to all the major databases are provided so that research can be done hassle-free.
    Faculty: The faculty are the backbone of any institute and over here they are one of the best. The faculty are all doctorates with Ph.D. from either IIM or IIT or renowned foreign universities. The research work of the faculty regularly feature in several top notch journals. The student to faculty ratio is such that personal attention can be accorded to each student in all the different areas. The faculty and students regularly come together on a research work that is either presented in major conferences or get published in prominent journals which adds value to the student as well. The course curriculum draws from the basics of the course and also includes the most recent happening in the areas so that students are up to date on the latest events.
    Other: The Institute, in addition to Management and Cultural fests, organised the biggest ever ISDSI Conference with over 400 research papers being presented and discussed over the course of 3 days. This was preceeded by Doctoral Conference where research scholar presented their papers.
