Satisfied by the faculty but concerned about placements.
Placements: Nearly 30%-40% of the students gets placements. The number is very low. The highest package this year was of 17 l. p. a. and the lowest is around 6 l. p. a. The college has a good reputation and firms do treat students specially. The college has two main courses I. e B.A. LL.B. (5 years) and LL.B. (3 years). .
Infrastructure: The college has a campus of 150 acres. It has swimming pool, gym, hostel, mess, etc. But students have restricted access to swimming pool and gym. Mess is of average quality. There not much to do in the campus. The college has one of the biggest library with all law books available and has some of the rarest books too.
Faculty: The faculty is really good. They try to cover theoretical as well as practical aspects of the course. They are really helpful and coordinating. Most of them are visiting faculty. Yes, the course is relevant but more practical aspect could have been added to it. The semester exams are of moderate difficulty but college has a strict rule of 75% attendance. They don't allow you to attend exams if your attendance is below 75%. .
Other: College placements need to be improved because even after studying from such reputed institution even toppers don't have any surety of getting placed. The college crowd is good. Many competitions such as moot courts, negotiation, counseling, etc. And fests are organised in the college.

Dissatisfied with the placements. Otherwise, it is a good and reputed college.
Placements: The placements of our batch are good. The placements of our seniors were not satisfactory as a few students were only placed. During end of our 2nd year LL.B., which is similar to the 4th-year of B.A. LL.B., we have to register for placement cell in our college, and they provide us training so that we can appear before companies. They teach us how to prepare our resume, how to face GDs, personal interviews, dressing sense, etc. In short, they prepare us for the interview and compulsory fee of Rs. 5,000 has to be paid for that training. After the training, two tests are conducted, which consists of companies law, transfer of property act and contract act. When we pass this test with 50% then only we are eligible for placements. For those, who don't want to pursue that training then those students are not eligible for placement process. After the test, if a student is eligible for placement, then such student is required to pay a fee of Rs. 15,000 for further procedure. From the beginning of last year, the companies come for the placement, and during vacations also they come for recruitment process and for that we have to always check our email because they want us to fill the form in short period. Almost, 70 students register for training out of which 50-55 register for placement and 13-14 students get placed every year. Last year, the highest salary package was 18 LPA, and the lowest was 4 LPA. Both corporates and litigation firms recruit in ILS. There is also internship cell, and they provide good internships such as in HDFC bank, but it was not suitable for me because that was only for Marathi speaking persons. For internship cell also one has to pay a fee of Rs, 500.
Infrastructure: There are two buildings in ILS. One is Saraswati building, which has a huge library (also consist of computer lab connected to Wi-Fi), which is one of the best libraries in Pune comprising of office, conference hall, staff rooms, etc. A second building is Laxmi building, which comprises of various classrooms and common room. The campus is in the lush greenery of the city connected with Wi-Fi facility in both the buildings. There is a games room on the campus along with swimming pool and gymnasium and a huge playground, where usually students play cricket and volleyball. The campus also includes a boys hostel and ladies hostel. Boys hostel rooms are not too good as they don't give basic facility of hot water otherwise boys hostel is okay. Ladies hostel is competitively good as they charge huge amount of hostel fee from ladies, which includes food also. Ladies hostel has common washrooms, recreation room, TV room, and mess. The college canteen is beautiful, and one can have good food and a great time there. We also have a mess on the college campus, which provides food in thali system and that is also good. The classrooms are also good having projectors and Wi-Fi facility in each.
Faculty: I'm in LL.B., which is a 3-year law course. The faculty members are helpful, but again all this depends on the teachers. A few of them are not at all interested in teaching, and they just come read the bare acts, and they don't even say anything to students, who are making noise or using mobile in the class. Other than those few, there are many teachers, who are helpful. They explain everything and also have PPT presentations, which they show on a projector. Some teachers make us play games related to the subject on Saturdays. There is also a counsellor for students, who are available to us every Thursday so that we can discuss our problems. The student to faculty ratio is 80:1. The course is under Pune University, so this is helpful in our practice. Also, we have court visits and legal aid campaigns held by the college with the help of faculty members.
Other: The various events are held such as moot court competitions, Aahwan which is a drama competition, and Marathi and English debate. We have fest during the last week of December every year, which comprises of various fun activities such as treasure hunt, fun from junk, singing and dancing competition. We have batch dance performed by the last year students, and movie clips are also shown about their journey in college. Altogether we have fun during such events.

It is a dream come true if you are studying in ILS Law College.
Placements: ILS Law College has a special placement cell comprised of senior faculty members and senior students who guide the junior students who are interested in going for the placement process. Also, the college conducts a special exam and those who clear that are allowed to face the placement rounds in which various companies come and interview the students. Also, the placement cell calls various guest faculty members like college alumni, company representatives, etc., who guide us in the placement process. Also, I have seen my seniors who wanted to go for a corporate job instead of a private practice getting good salary packages in reputed companies. So overall, the placements are good. Just the college has one condition and that is the special in-house pre-placement exam.
Infrastructure: ILS Law College was established in 1924 to provide unparallel legal education to the students. Also, it has a great campus with lots of natural beauty and a special hill named after the college itself which is just behind the college buildings. The classes are well-equipped with projectors and audio systems. There are well-maintained classes which are regularly painted and cleaned. The entire campus has free a Wi-Fi connectivity. One just needs to get his free Wi-Fi account created by the library. The best thing about ILS Law College is its library which has an enormous amount of textbooks, references and law magazines on almost every topic one needs to know in this vast field. Plus, the library also has subscriptions to various national and international law journals that keep the students updated. Also, the library is equipped with a subscription to AIR, Lexus Nexus, ManuPatra, etc., that keep the students updated about the judgements by the various courts throughout the country. The college also has hostel facilities, a gym for the students, a well-maintained swimming pool, a huge ground on which the students play various sports like football or come for morning or evening walks. Also, we have a tennis court facility. Overall, the infrastructure is good and it's really worth studying here.
Faculty: ILS Law College is affiliated to Savitri Bai Phule University (Pune University) thus the course is decided by the same university. LLB, a three-year course and BALLB, a five-year course have just got the new curriculum from the year 2017 onwards. Thus, our batch is the first batch for the new curriculum. The new pattern of examination being 80-mark university exam and 20-mark college exam or practical as the college may think fit. The college is famous for its well-qualified faculty members. The thing that I have personally seen is that the faculty members are already the bigshots in their subjects. Also, the faculty of most of the subjects discuss the practical cases in the class, thus giving the students a practical exposure to everything they have studied in the class. The student to faculty ratio is almost 40:1. But the teachers are kind enough to repeat the topics which the students have difficulty in. The college has a legal aid-centre in where we get to see the practical cases and the senior students and the faculty members guide the poor people and those deprived of their rights to go and fight in a legal way.
Other: An annual fest named LegalEase is organised every December-end by the students of ILS. Every single student of ILS enjoys being a part of this event. The campus crowd is a brilliant one as they enter the college specifically on the basis of merit in the MH-CET score and it's a dream come true to study in such a wonderful college. Various seminars, guest lectures, moot courts and trial advocacy competitions are conducted on a regular basis to increase the practical knowledge of the students and also to keep them updated about the current situation in the legal world. The college also has many scholarship schemes for the best performers. Also, the students belonging to reserved categories get the scholarships from the Government of Maharashtra. The college has the students from almost every part of the country. The college is centrally located in Pune city, thus it is well connected to the modes of transportation, the railway station is just on a 15-minute journey and the airport is on the outskirts of the city, thus it takes 45 minutes to reach plus one has buses, Ola, Uber etc., to communicate with the city. The most happening FC road and JM road of Pune are just 10-minutes walk away and one can find all the branded stores, the food chains and also, tasty Pune street food on these roads. The sports activities are encouraged for the students by the college and have regular activities. Also, we have a canteen and a mess for with some food if one is hungry.

The best law college for three year course.
Placements: Almost all, who attend placements get into good law firms. Top law firms, companies give good packages to the students. However, only students scoring good marks get into all top firms. The placement cell specifically works for placements and internships.
Infrastructure: WiFi access, legal database access, a big campus, canteen are available. The college also has hostels, sports ground, well-equipped classrooms. The best thing about the college is the college library. Also, the college has a gym, swimming pool. Soon, ILS will start its own arbitration centre.
Faculty: There are amazing faculty with great experience in the subject. Guest lectures are much better as compared to permanent faculty members. Many professors have wide personal experience in the field of law, and they teach more from a practical perspective rather than focussing only on exam oriented perspective. The more you interact with professors, the more you get to know about them and their experience. Most of the professors are always willing to guide you in research work.

Other: This college is one of the premier institutions for law in India. The best part of this college is that it has an astounding legacy of amazing lawyers and judges which keeps inspiring you every single time. Secondly, the college is pretty economical in terms of fee structure as compared to other law colleges. Thirdly, it allows a student to grow all on his own without much spoon feeding. This way it becomes very easy for an individual to develop his leadership skills and explore oneself to the maximum. The quality of education provided here is also pretty decent if actually one wants to learn. Hence, I recommend this college for anyone who gets a chance to get here.

    It's fabulous and intellectual.
Placements: The placements were really good. Majority of the students got placed in renowned law firms and multinational companies. Packages offered to them were also very good. The placement cell prepares the students Very well for the interviews by conducting various sessions.
Infrastructure: The best part about the college infrastructure is the library of the college. Many reference books and bare acts are kept in the library for the use of the students. College also provides us with the gym and swimming pool. The campus of the college has a lot of greenery and efforts are made to preserve it.
Faculty: Faculty members are very well qualified and trained in the field of teaching. They are very good at imparting wisdom and make sure that they pay personal attention to every student as much as possible. They conduct many interactive sessions. Curriculum is as per the Pune University and it is well planned.
Other: The college has an event called legal ease. It's a culture festival along with various legal events.
