Great college, can do better still.
Placements: About 100 students SAT for placement, and 50+ students got placed. Tier 1 law firms like AZB, Trilegal, and Khaitan came on day 0. Several companies came throughout the year, such as Teach Mahindra, HSBC, Welspun, ICICI Bank, HDFC, and ICICI Prudential. Practicing advocates were also hiring. There were more companies hiring than law firms. The highest package offered was 21 LPA by Vedanta, while the lowest was 15/20k per month offered by practicing advocates. Most good companies offered 8+ LPA. Recruiters greatly preferred students of B.A.L.B. over students of L.B. The college placement cell can definitely do better. They are not proactive and do not make much effort to secure higher placements.
Infrastructure: The colleges library is very good. Has Wi-Fi, subscriptions to major databases such as SCC Online, Manupatra, Westlaw, etc., and a good collection of books. Classrooms are average. The girls' hostel is decent but charges 2+ Lacs per year, which is absolutely not worth it. boys' hostel charges $50,000 per year but does not provide any other amenities, such as geysers, etc. The canteen is average. The college campus is lush green and beautiful, standing in front of the 'vetal tekdi'. It also has a field, swimming pool, gym and tennis court.
Faculty: The curriculum and semester exams are decided by Pune University and not the college. The curriculum could use some changes. Semester exams are alright; questions are very straight-forward most of the time. If you study half decently, you shall pass. Internal marks are decided by the college, and the faculty makes utmost use of them by grading strictly. Some of the faculty are very good at their knowledge as well as their teaching. Others are okay-ish.
Other: College life is vibrant here. We have a yearly festival. Moot court competitions, mediation and negotiation challenges, bail drafting competitions, and other such law school competitions are held throughout the year. There are various cells conducting both co-curricular and extra-curricular activities. Attendance is very strict, and if you fail to get the minimum required attendance, even if it may be for a genuine medical condition, you will have to repeat the year. More than the college, the students will teach you so much and expose you to various opportunities.

Great college for a law course. Need little improvement.
Placements: Almost 60%–70% of students are placed every year in our course. This number should be improved. The highest package is around 15 LPA from our course. As it is a law course, most of the students get jobs as lawyers, law professors, etc. My ambition is to become a lawyer after this course. Some of the top recruiters are ICICI, AZB, etc.
Infrastructure: The Wi-Fi facility is good, and it is available on the overall campus. But the internet speed should be better. The hostel and its food are not bad. The college canteen is neat and clean. The boys hostel fee is less than the girls hostel. But for girls, it is better to stay safe in a college hostel.
Faculty: Almost every faculty member is good. Some of them are very strict. But all of them have very good knowledge about the subjects. The course curriculum is updated. Exams are difficult, but for me, this is medium, and the passing percentage is almost 95% every year in our batch.
Other: I want to become a lawyer. So I am here.

There is a scope of improvement in some areas in ILS, rest it is good.
Placements: The number of students being placed fluctuates greatly every year. The highest package being received by a student was 12 LPA. Top recruiting companies are- Tech Mahindra, Khaitan & Co, ICICI Bank, Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas, Trilegal, AZB & Partners, etc. top roles being offered are those of- associates, Legal advisors, etc.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are being provided with a decent Wi-Fi network. The library is outstanding in terms of the quantity and quality of books being provided. The quality of facilities being provided in the hostel is disgusting, and the quality of food being provided in the mess and canteen is not up to par.
Faculty: Teachers are well qualified and knowledgeable, and they are quite helpful for students. Even the teaching quality is amazing. The curriculum is not relevant in the present-day scenario, so there is a huge need to introduce a better curriculum for students. The semester exams are not that difficult, but despite being less difficult, the university doesn't give appropriate marks.

Great college to learn about the law.
Placements: The highest package offered was Rs. 16 LPA and the average was Rs. 11 LPA. The top recruiters were AZB and Partners, Trilegal, Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas, Luthra and Luthra, ICICI Bank and others. The top roles offered were Legal Advisory, Associate Lawyer, Judges, Professor of Law, etc.
Infrastructure: The classrooms had Wi-Fi and projectors. Library has a collection of over 60000 books and also provided subscription to several online databases. There's a cafeteria. Separate hostels for boys and girls. Food available at the mess is of good quality.
Faculty: The faculty here are very experienced and the teaching quality is very good. The course was designed in such a way that it could be relevant to the legal industry needs for a long period of time. The semester exams were very hard. The pass percentage was around 80%.

I has a great experience at this college.
Placements: The placement rate is very high at ILS Law College, Pune. From my batch of B.A. LL.B. 2023, almost every second person is either placed or gets a contract from a litigation chamber or an international LL.M. offer. To be very honest here, 70–80% of students are placed. Even if I have to compare all three MNLUS together in terms of total number of placements and ILS alone, ILS will prevail easily. Same level of placements as NLUJ or NUJS, and records will be out soon so you can cross-check. At present, you may find the answers by going to the MNLU Mumbai placement cell LinkedIn page, and on the ILS placement cell page, you will find the answers. I am not opening a debate here, but I have a point to make that with fewer fees, you may get it all. And ILS and GLC will give you that. Firms or any other place will begin their recruitment process at the same pace as a top NLU. For example, if a tier one firm starts its process of recruitment around the end of April or May, they will come to ILS, GLC, HNLU, NLUJ, NALSAR, GNLU, NUJS, NLUD, and NLS Jindal, and then after all this, they may think of going to mid-scale NLU, which is a bit established now, like NLUO. Firms like AZB, Trilegal, Khaitan, LKS, Thinklaw, Wadia Gandhi, SAM, CAM, DSK, Bharucha, and even mid-sized firms join in. Firms mostly have a great package, but it depends on the firm. Companies like Tech Mahindra, EY, and Magma offer around INR 8-10 LPA, and,  international banks and national banks like Credit Suisse, ICICI, HSBC, HDFC, CITIBANK, and Uitjivan offer INR 16 LPA. Insurance companies like Go Digit, SBI Insurance, and ICICI Life also come. Litigation chambers from northern to southern India offer great placements.
Infrastructure: The hostel is a great place to have a good time. You will find books authored or edited by Dr. Ambedkar by any number of British Lords. The library infrastructure is very nice and in an old building. From the SCC or International blog page, you will get access to all!
Faculty: The faculty is very strict but experienced. The curriculum is pretty chill for two semesters, but the syllabus is very hard to cover. Lectures are very strict, so it's not like you can sleep in class or watch shows on laptops. The new age lectures are a bit chill, but the lectures in 3rd, 4th, or 5th years of law are strict but friendly if you follow academic instructions well. Academically, they are strict, but otherwise they are relaxed.
Other: The best alumni base ILS has is because it's been here for more than 100 years, so the partners you see in these top-tier firms and organizations are from ILS and GLC. And they prefer their college for placements or anything else. I would suggest CLAT, MH-CET, or other tests. If you don't get CLAT, only get NLS, NALSAR, NLUJ, GNLU, NJUS, HNLU, NLUD, NLIU, and NLUO. Other NLUS are not established now, and ILS and GLC are in line with these top NLUs. Don't go with the NLU mindset; the legal industry works on alumnus base and trust, and all these tips NLUs stated are only available at ILS and GLC!

Good law college with minimal fee structure.
Placements: Around half of the students get placements, and the placement is not that great. The average placement is around 8–10 LPA, and the highest package of last year was around 17 LPA. Mango companies such as Khaitan & Co. and other prominent law firms come for placements.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is average, and hostel facilities are provided. Hostel infrastructure is old, and there are only traditional methods of equipment present there. The walls are broken, and no good ventilation facility is provided. The college infrastructure is also old, except for the library.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful and qualified in some ways but not that friendly. The courses studied are LL.B., LL.M., B.A. LL.B., and BBA LL.B. If there is an integrated course such as B.A., LL.B., or BBA, LL.B., no importance to legal studies is given in the initial 2 years. Semester exams are of average difficulty and provided by Savitribai Phule University, by which the college is affiliated, and the syllabus is the same across all colleges lying under SPPU, Pune.
Other: There is no diverse college life, and attendance is very compulsory.
