Review of India Today Media Institute.
Placements: This institute is a trap. Don't fall into it. The faculty members at ITMI will keep telling you stories throughout the course so that you keep paying your fees to them. The myth of practical learning is false. The reality is that the employees at India Today themselves do not recommend the companies for a full-time job role during or after their internships at the firms. They treat interns like slaves, providing zero or low salaries. Your previous job accomplishments, degrees, and marks secured at ITMI will not guarantee you a job. Eventually, they will make you beg for jobs during your internship period, so that when you get one, you do not think much about the salary or remuneration. They will either make you work for free or give you the lowest salary package possible in the media industry.
Infrastructure: Most students who studied at ITMI were desperate for jobs in the media industry. They did not focus on the food or infrastructure of the institute.
Faculty: The curriculum being taught at the institute was totally opposite of what was expected in the practical world. They will make you attend random workshops, take you out on trips in the name of industrial training outings, and give you projects and assignments that will have no role to play in helping you grab jobs.

ITMI is the best college to learn journalism.
Placements: Placements are very high in this institute, but you need to have that zeal as well to qualify in interviews. The salary package offered ranges from around 3.5 LPA to up to 10 LPA as well. The highest salary package offered in the last year was 10 LPA. Companies like Aaj Tak, CNN News 18, Radio, etc., visit our campus for placements. Roles such as copywriter, video editor, reporter, etc., are offered.
Infrastructure: State of the art equipment is used here, and the studios are well maintained. The mess is clean, and the canteen also charges reasonable prices. For one full plate of food, the cost is Rs. 40, which is pretty good. The facilities are amazing. All the classrooms are regularly sanitised at this time of Covid-19.
Faculty: The staff members here are very experienced and well qualified to teach. Notes are provided for all the topics, so we can revise better. The curriculum is not just theoretical, but also various practical subjects are included in it. The semester exam papers are set based on the requirements of the industry.
Other: I love food and travelling, so I wanted to become a travel journalist and also explore other avenues along with it. The course has an all-round approach to education.

Right place to nurture your skills.
Placements: The placement scenario of ITMI is good. 70% students of B.J. course got placed this year. Many students got placed in live law, lallantop, Axis my India, Takes channels. The 6 months internship in ITG help you to crack the interview tests for placement.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of ITMI is good. It has all the facilities like projectors, Wi-Fi, air conditioner. It is a great platform to discover your inner journalistic skills.
Placements: Many students got placed with a good salary package. It is a great platform to perform a number of job roles in the media houses. The institution has contributed its great to gives student's career paths an advantage to grow confidently in the industry.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the institute is way good and better for learning technical concepts and practical aspects. The institute has immense technical support and aura to make students get familiar with the industry. The quality of canteen food is good, and proper hygiene is maintained by them. Medical facilities are also good and helpful for the folks.
Faculty: Teachers and professors are very supportive and teach everything that must be needed in the field of journalism. Teachers here are totally in to have critical analysis, discussion and encourage everyone's opinion. Courses are relevant enough, and they hold must required skills that students need to enter the industry. Semester exams are easy for students who attend classes and work hard, but they are tough for students who are opposite.
Other: I have chosen broadcast journalism. The campus environment is very good, and it gives an immense opportunity for exposure for aspiring journalists.

Great place for those who want to be media professionals.
Placements: They give plenty of opportunities but ultimately it depends upon individuals capabilities to convert that opportunity. The average package is about 2.5 LPA based on your capability it can go up and down slightly. They have great links in reputed media houses.
Infrastructure: Facilities are quite good but due to Covid, we hadn't got many opportunities to have exposure to those. Classrooms, Labs, Library is available, they don't have any specific hostels but they do assist you in finding PGs nearby. And as obvious due to Covid sports activities aren't happening now but yes they have a great arrangement for that as well.
Faculty: Faculty members are very helpful and friendly. Teachers are knowledgeable and interested in teaching you a subject in detail. The course will give you an insight how media actually works. Semester exams are above average as per difficulty but if you are aware of the subject you can crack it.
Other: The only reason for choosing this course was learning and internship in a reputed media organisation. As it is an autonomous body they don't have any scholarship. Extracurricular activities have been raised due to Covid.
