No, there is no entrance exam conducted for admissio to IIAE Dehradun. Interested candidates have to apply for their desired courses through the official website or through email. Candidates also have the option to visit the college campus and appy. The candidates who meet the eligibility criteria are granted admissions directly at IIAE Dehradun.

IIAE Dehradun is considered one of the oldest and pre-eminent Aeronautical and Aerospace Engineering College in India. The institute is approved by OTHM qualification (UK) and is the affilated centre of the University of America. The institute is also affiliated to Institutions of Automotive Engineers, India and Institutions of Motor Industries.

IIAE Dehradun offers Bachelors (Level 6) and IHD courses (Level 5) in Aeronautical and Aerospace Engineering, providing students with a comprehensive education that balances theoretical knowledge with practical skills. IIAE Dehradun grduates can pursue a wide range of career opportunities in areas such as aircraft and component design, aircraft manufacturing, maintenance and testing, flight simulation, patent engineering, systems engineering, and structures engineering.  Step 1: Start by visiting the official website to fill out the online application form. Alternatively, candidates can send an email to the admission counsellor at the email mentioned on the official website of here.

Step 2: The counsellors will then get in touch with the candidates over the phone and through email to guide them through the admission process.

Step 3: Once the candidate matches the eligibility, he/she will receive an offer of admission.

Step 4: To secure your seat, the candidates have to pay the fees online through the offer letter, or by visiting the college in person to complete the admission formalities.

Candidates who have completed or are appearing for their 12th standard with PCM from ICSE/CBSE/IGCSE/IB/State Board or have a Diploma in engineering with a minimum of 50% marks are eligible to apply for IIAE Dehradun Admission. However, meeting the minimum requirements does not guarantee admission as the institution evaluates applications based on the strength of the applicant pool each year.

Students who want to study the UG Level 6 programme in Aerospace engineering at IIAE Dehradun can get direct admission to the programme without any entrance test. Approx. fees for the programme that students need to pay will be INR 8 Lakh. Additionally, the institute also offers the same programme in another stream i.e. Aeronautical and Mechanical engineering.
