BSDS course - ISI Delhi Review.
Placements: Our course was newly launched; hence, there are no placement records available. Also, we are the first undergraduate batch of the Indian Statistical Institute Delhi. However, as far as placements of master's students are concerned, ISI Delhi has a good track record. Most of the students are accepted into multinational companies like Google, Adobe, Microsoft, Amazon, Facebook, Jane Street, and many other quant firms. The highest package goes as high as 90 LPA, and the mean salary goes around 10-20 LPA.
Infrastructure: The course is a mixture of mathematics and computer science. Our classroom is equipped with all the modern facilities like Wi-Fi, projectors, whiteboards, and other things as well. The only problem is that there is no hostel accommodation for students of Bachelor of Statistical Data Science in all the centers, including Delhi.
Faculty: The faculty members teaching us are themselves graduates of top Indian and foreign institutes in the subject, like Ivy League schools, ISI, and IITs. All of them are active researchers in their respective domains of research and attend many international conferences. The semester exams are quite difficult and require a rigorous amount of study. Also, they cannot be passed with one night of studying, as happens in engineering colleges. The course is designed as per the needs of the industry and makes students job-ready. The pass percentage for each course differs but is normally around 80%.
Other: I chose the course because it was a mixture of the subjects that I love. The only improvement I would suggest is to give students hostel accommodation. There are no big fests or other extracurricular activities on campus, like at IITs.

My honest experience at ISI Delhi.
Placements: Honestly, there is 100% placement at ISI Delhi, with high-quality placements. The average placement is 26 LPA, and the median placement is 24 LPA. Companies that visit include Google, Amazon, Goldman Sachs, HDFC Bank, and Microsoft. I believe any student from this institute can secure a good placement.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is just fine. Our classrooms are well-equipped with technology, including smart boards, Wi-Fi, and air conditioning, which makes the experience worthwhile. The food in the mess is above average, with regular meals costing 40 rupees and special lunches at 50 rupees.
Faculty: I must say the faculty is top-notch; they are among the best in the country. They have extensive teaching experience and are very approachable. The interaction between professors and students is informal, making it easy for us to communicate. One teacher I particularly liked was Antar Bandopadhyay; he may seem a bit dramatic sometimes, but that drama makes the class interesting. Overall, all the teachers are excellent in terms of teaching. The exams are of moderate difficulty, and you need to study rigorously to pass.
Other: There are several festivals held at the college, but frankly speaking, if you want to enjoy your college life, ISI isn't the best option, as the student population is small and the social life on campus can be quite boring since many students seem to be introverted.
