Q:   Is Institute for Excellence in Higher Education good for B.Com?

    A:
    {Source: B.Com students & alumni}

Based on the feedback from current students and alumni, here's a summary of the strengths and weaknesses of Institute for Excellence in Higher Education (IEHE) for its Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com) program:

    Strengths:

    * Excellent infrastructure: The college has a good library, well-equipped labs, and a comfortable hostel.
    * Knowledgeable faculty: Teachers are highly qualified, knowledgeable, and helpful.
    * Good curriculum: The course curriculum is relevant, and the faculty makes efforts to update students on recent developments in the field.
    * Plenty of extracurricular activities: The college organizes several festivals, quizzes, and workshops, providing ample opportunities for students to engage in co-curricular activities.
    * Scholarship opportunities: Merit-based scholarships are available to deserving students.

    Weaknesses:

    * Limited placement opportunities: While some students do get placed, the placement record is not exceptional, and many students pursue higher studies or take up lower-paying jobs.
    * Hostel issues: Some students reported that the hostel food could be improved, and the hostel itself needed maintenance.
    * Limited industry connections: Fewer industry giants visit the campus for recruitment drives, limiting placement opportunities.
    * Low campus placement rates: Not all students get placed, and those who do may receive lower salaries.

Overall, IEHE seems to excel in areas such as infrastructure, faculty, and curriculum. However, the placement record is a significant concern, and students may need to explore alternative opportunities. Despite these limitations, IEHE remains a popular choice for students seeking a solid foundation in commerce and business-related fields.

    Best, beautiful, amazing, magical.
Placements: Around 70 - 80% students in my course get placed, and the other students mostly opt for masters. The highest package is of 5.5LPA, and the lowest is of 1.5LPA. Google, amazon, forbes etc. are the top recruiting companies, in my course. A good number of students get internship opportunity.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is quite good. Washrooms are hygienic. Smart classrooms are available, for powerpoint presentations. Free Wi-Fi is available all over the campus. Different labs are there for students, and very big and huge library is available.
Faculty: Faculty and staff are very friendly, good, and always try their best to bring out the most creative and best version of the students. Very supportive teachers. Curriculum is very good.
Other: I chose this course, to get a degree. Later I realised, that this is not only a course, but it is more than that.

If you want quality education, low cost and in Madhya Pradesh this is the right place.
Placements: Almost all the students got the offers but since everyone wants to do their Masters , people denied the offer. But many of them are doing their jobs like many of my friends from B.Sc. are doing great in there respective jobs that they got placed in. Aditya Birla, Nescafe were the major recruiters and they got the role of project managers.
Infrastructure: Facilities are very nice as it is a government college and library and hostel are also very good but mess food is the issue. Otherwise overall facilities are very good for sports. Also college organises annual fest where cultural and sports events are organised for students .
Faculty: Teachers are very knowledgeable and very supportive except few of them. Exam structure is also very good, they took exam in semester pattern which is very rare in Madhya Pradesh because most of the college don't have the semester system and curriculum is also designed very well .
Other: My batch was 2018-21 which was very good, my batchmates were also very supportive and helpful. Just one things that they should improve is the hostel mess .

Affordable and amazing opportunity for students.
Placements: Placements are quite decent here. Many companies like acel, google, amazon, and commercial banks come here for placements. The average package is 3 -4 Lacs. Approximately 20% students get placed.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is well developed. All facilities like canteen, library, sports area, labs etc. are available. Classrooms are well designed with proper furniture. Canteen food is very tasty. Quality of food they provide, is quite decent. Medical facilities are also good.
Faculty: Teachers are highly qualified and knowledgeable. The quality of teaching is great. Teachers are very helpful. The semester exams are a little difficult, but with hard work, students can get approximately 80%. This course makes the students highly qualified in accounts.
Other: I chose this course, because I am interested in accounts, and further wanted to grow my career on finance department. Events, and fests such as traditional day, colour day etc. are organised. The crowd is also very powerful. Some students can apply for scholarship, on merit basis.

Good in Terms of Studying, Bad in Terms of Events.
Placements: I am currently pursuing my B.Com degree at the Institute for Excellence in Higher Education College in Bhopal, and I am glad to say that it is really a good college in terms of studies, infrastructure, etc. However, it is lacking a little bit in placements as it provides up to 5-6 LPA on average.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is excellent. It has a huge library which is very good for studies, but classrooms need to be cleaner, and their chairs, desks, and blackboards are old. Although the hostels are not that good; hostel bathrooms and rooms need to be cleaned or maintained by the college.
Faculty: Yes, the teachers are very educated and deliver all their knowledge in a very effective way. Our college organizes some industrial visits, which are very helpful to understand group-level work. The exams are easy to moderate, but we have to score a minimum of 3 CGPA to pass out of 10 CGPA.
Other: This college needs to improve on events, as they only organize seminars in terms of events. They need to understand that events are for students' fun.
