The fee is affordable, and it allows you to manage time, which is convenient.

Placements: As it is an IDOL or distance learning course offered by Mumbai University, no placements are provided. Only books are provided by the college. There is no limit to the number of students enrolling for this course as it is very affordable. Students who make efforts to study on their own get placed.

It is good for the people who want to study while working.

Placements: Placement is not good in the Covid situation. We didn't get any updates about placement. The average we get through referrals from college is around 10k monthly. I would recommend enrolling for distance learning when you want to get your degree but don't depend on college placements.

I have a decent experience with the college, and I am gaining immense knowledge here.

Placements: I passed out in 2020. The placements were not good due to the covid pandemic, and also the university delayed in declaring the results. Companies that offered placements were Tata Group, State Bank of India, and Nippon India Mutual Fund. Placements are offered to the eligible students.

I am satisfied because placements in 2019, faculty members and facilities are good.

Placements: Minimum 50% of the students got placed in our college. The highest salary offered is Rs. 30,000 per month, the lowest salary offered is Rs. 15,000 per month and the average salary offered is Rs. 22,000 per month. Tata, Reliance, etc., are the top companies which are recruiting students from our course. Roles offered to the students are manager, accountant, etc.

Really good. still a scope for improvement.

Placements: I had passed out my Masters in Commerce (Management) in the year 2017. It is a distance learning institute. It is perfect for those who want to pursue a Masters degree without quitting their jobs. Since it is a distance learning institute, there is no placement opportunity. There are around 3 to 4 lectures that are conducted in a year mostly on weekends. The exam pattern is yearly and not semester wise. After pursuing a Master's degree, students can expect a package of around 2.5 Lacs per annum ...

The college had good infrastructure and faculty members.

Placements: Placement opportunities in our college were pretty good. The lowest salary package offered was 1.8 LPA and the highest salary package offered was 6 LPA. All kinds of companies from different sectors and industries like manufacturing, IT, etc., do visit our campus to conduct interviews. Nearly 40%-60% of the students got internships and job opportunities.

The campus is good for students.

Placements: The university does not provide any placements. I studied well, and I did my graduation from Mumbai University. I got the opportunity to attend interviews but did not succeed because I had poor communication skills.

Our college is very nice with friendly faculty.

Placements: Around 50% of students were placed. The highest salary package offered is 8 to 9 LPA, the lowest salary package is 3 to 4 LPA, the average salary package is around 4 to 5 LPA. Around 80% of students got internships in several reputed companies.

The rememberable college life.

Placements: Looking at my percentage, I got 65 percent in my 12th. My name on the list was at the time of the 3rd list before it was of a higher percentage of students. So I guess 80 was the highest percentage and 64 was the lowest percentage. Several companies were there, but due to rapid cases of COVID 19, we were not able to go to college or work for the types of companies that may give internship courses to us.

Review of Institute of Distance and Open Learning - University of Mumbai.

Placements: The college is not dedicated or focuses on placements. It is a good college for students who are working and want to study simultaneously or who want to job and study at the same time.

IDOL is always best for Learning with Earning and Study from home.

Placements: Placement opportunities are not given for distance learning. Also, the students are not closely connected with each other. Those who want placements should avoid this institution. As it is only for them who are working and wants promotion for a better job opportunity.

It is a good college to study, but it can be improved.

Placements: Students belonging to the percentage category of 60% and above were admitted. Internships are rare in our college, and it is mostly offered to third-year bachelor students. Our course gives a brief idea about China's history, culture, economic background and knowledge of speaking, writing and reading language.

Good facility for distance learning.

Placements: There were no placements for M.Com students as I pursued this course through distance learning. However, there may be placements for other courses. I don't think so that there was any placement cell in IDOL. If they could start, it would be very helpful to students for their future prospects.
