Review of Institute of Engineering and Rural Technology, Allahabad.

Placements: Nearly 60% of students got placed, but it's from CSE and electronics branches. The placements are low for civil, but you can apply for internship programs from AKTU ERP login. You can choose according to your field. The highest package is 14 LPA, and the average package is 3-4 LPA.

A short Information regarding IERT.

Placements: My branch is Civil Engineering, as it's a core branch so the companies visiting our college will also be core companies and talking about core companies they provide a lesser amount as compared to software jobs, now if I say about Software jobs then One of our seniors got an offer from Gainsight company of 14 LPA and then from Goldman Sachs of 20lpa, our college has very good culture in providing GATE results as lot of our seniors were also under top 100 rank in their respective branches, our co...

I would not recommend students for placements purpose only.

Placements: Placements are decent for the previous few and also they are improving year after year. Although the average number of placements are low, they are increasing and going to increase further. The training and placements cell officers are also very helpful. They convey a lot of information about on-campus and off-campus placements regularly.

There are good placements for CS branch students but not for all branches.

Placements: About 80-90% of students from our branch get placed. The highest salary package offered is 15 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered in our college is 3 LPA. Some best companies like Birla and Tata Motors visit the college to hire students from our course. I would definitely try my best to make a part of it.

It is the best for government jobs preparation.

Placements: The students get eligible for placements in the 7th semester. Placements cell use proposals to make companies accept the invitation and come for the hiring process. Students generally prefer other competitive exams like GATE, UPSC, etc. It has its own placements cell. Companies like L&T, TCS, HCL, Wipro, Mahindra, Syntel, etc., visit to hire students. The maximum salary package offered is 25 LPA.

It is the best college for government job preparations.

Placements: In IERT, about 30-40% of students get placed. The highest salary package offered is 14 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is about 2.5 LPA. But, this is the best college for government job preparations. Among all the courses present in the college, the best placements records are from the computer science and electronics branch.

The college is value for money.

Placements: The placements are getting better with time. Our seniors get good packages. The placement cell is working towards it. Companies come to the campus. But the high packages are offered only in CSE, but the condition is improving day by day.

Value for money, but not recommended.

Placements: Placement in Civil Department is very low. Average package offered was around 3-4 LPA. Maximum package is in Computer Science Engineering department. This year only student from Computer Science department got a package of 25 LPA. Placement opportunities are improving year by year (Hopefully will be great when you arrive) .

It is a good college for exam preparation. It has an average infrastructure.

Placements: Placements are not good, but some of our seniors told that they get placed in L&T with a good salary package. Only computer science students and electrical engineering students get placed. There are poor placements for civil engineering and mechanical engineering students.

It is not up to expectations because of campus life and no sports facilities.

Placements: Placements are quite average in the college, but the quality of education is what the college desires. The average salary package offered is 4 LPA, and many students manage to get a placement with a salary package of 28 LPA from off-campus. There are many interesting internship opportunities for students. Overall, if you level up your own skills, you may grow anywhere.

Placements: If students are looking for placements then, it would be a maximum of about 10 lakh hardly. Mainly in CS 1 students get placed in Amazon, and the average salary package offered was 14 LPA. More than 40 students were placed by TCS, L&T, and many other mass recruiters.

A good choice for making a future in government services or being professional.

Placements: The top companies which always offer placements in our college are Tata Consultancy Service, Larsen and Toubro, Jaypee Cement, Prism Cement, Anant Raj Industries Limited. These companies offered lucrative posts the previous year in placements season. Some of them are junior site engineers, junior surveyors, junior architects, etc. The internships percentage are less due to the unavailability of top skills of students which have been a major setback in the last 2-3 years. But surely, if students ...

Placements: Placements in our college are a bit low in this batch and there are less number of internship opportunities. But the officials have said that there will be more opportunities next year, and also many of our seniors got very good off-campus placements. Placements: After the 6th semester, students become eligible for placements. Companies like Wipro, TCS, L&T, etc., are invited by the placement cell of the college. After all the tests, the recruiters select many students mostly from CSE and electronics branches. Most of the students prefer to appear for GATE as the average package offered here is not so high.
