I wish the college should upgrade campus facilities a little.

Placements: Internships are completely based on students initiative as you will have good opportunities in Internshala and other platforms. Students go for training mainly to learn about implementing. Therefore college provides good opportunities in NITs, IIITs and other good institutes. Many students got placed in TCS, Capgemini, Wipro and Infosys.

Ready to live in rural area.

Placements: There is no any placement cell. So it's difficult for those who thinking for placement. You have to prepare yourself for the off-campus placement. Average salary in the field of electrical engineer is 6 LPA. And the lowest might fluctuate between 2-3 LPA. And from best institute many students get more than 20 LPA. Qualcomm, UPPCL, NTPC, BHEL, Reliance Energy and many more. System Engineer, Power System Engineer, AE, and SDO. In India, many of us get internship in BHEL and NTPC.

The college has the average infrastructure, but placements are below average.

Placements: Placements scenario of the college is not as good as some private colleges of the state. Students get placed with their own ability. Moreover, mostly all the students of the college were placed through off-campus placements process. The highest salary package offered was 10 LPA, and that was offered to two students.

Best you can get Via UPSEE.

Placements: My Batch had great placement figures though only half only SAT for them. Half of the others were interested in higher studies so they opted out of it. Most of them were placed above 6 LPA and others were placed below it. Some were off-campus and but many were on campus too. Same has been the scenario from last 4 years.

The college offers a clean and fresh environment for study.

Placements: I got placed in Maruti Suzuki. Maruti Suzuki conducted a written and an interview in the college and select 22 students from 2016 batch with a decent salary package. The average salary package offered is 5 LPA. The highest salary package offered is 7 LPA. Companies like Maruti Suzuki, Hindalco, Tata Motors, visited the campus for placements.

Joining this college is a waste of 4 years of my life.

Placements: The placement scenario in this college is the worst. In 2016-17, only 1 company has visited the campus that too offered BPO roles. Students look for off-campus placements. Placements are available only for CSE students. Apart from this branch, no placements are provided to any other student.

I'm satisfied as this college is worth the money but dissatisfied with many other aspects.

Placements: As I tell you about placements in this college, the only company that visit our campus is TCS. But even TCS is not visiting the campus for placements these days. So you have to look for yourself if you want a better job. The college doesn't even try to get you placed. However, they have taken some measures to improve the placement rate. However, they give you a lot of time if you want to prepare for some other exams.

I would highly recommend this college. It provides quality education.

Placements: Placements in our college were average during my tenure. About 60% of the students got campus placements, and the rest choose the other career options. Most of the students opted for M.Tech through GATE. Almost 95% of them got into IITs and NITs for M.Tech. The average salary package offered was about 4.5 LPA. Internship record was satisfactory as nearly 40% of students got internships from campus with the average stipend of Rs. 14,000.

The college no more offers electrical engineering course.

Placements: Placements in our college are nil. Students got jobs on their own. Now the electrical engineering department is closed here, so no more companies visit the campus for placements. There is a placement cell, but it's not that useful and productive. TCS visited the campus for placements, but now they are recruiting online. Some startups also visited the campus for placements.

Faculty and workshops are good, but the placements are low.

Placements: The placements in our college are not that good due to the location of the college. Our placement wing lacks effective HR relationship. The college is not focused on providing good placements, and they work just a little to improve the placements. The placement cell is jaded and does not organise any alumni meet to boost students' exposure to industrial stands.

The environment at the college is good, but it lacks in infrastructure.

Placements: Placement record of the college is not that good. The reputation of the college has gone down drastically. Instead, placements depend on your skills in aptitude. Almost 30-40% of students got placed by their skills and knowledge. Companies like TCS and Wipro visit the campus to offer placements. The college doesn't provide any internships.

Top notch talent pool is available in department of CSE, IERT.

Placements: Placement and internships were offered to my batch from various organizations. The maximum salary package offered was 7.2LPA by an MNC in Bangalore, and the minimum salary package offered was 3.6LPA by TCS. My batchmates were participated in the coding competition and were selected for the interview, and few of them got offers from companies. I did my 6 months internship at TCS, Digital Impact Square Open Innovation Center, Nashik. Role of innovator was offered here and stipend of Rs. 25,000 pe...

The college offers a perfect platform to enhance your skills and become a real technocrat.

Placements: Here I saw a plethora of talented students getting placed in many good private companies as well as PSUs. One of our seniors from the mechanical branch has qualified IES. He secured all India 37th rank. Companies like TCS, Tech Mahindra, Arrow Enterprises, Accenture, and many more recruited students from IERT. The range of salary offered by the companies was around 4 LPA to 15 LPA.

The college is in developing stage, and initiatives are being taken for development.

Placements: Placements records of the college were good earlier. Earlier it was considered as one of the top colleges. Many students work hard to get placements. Almost 10 students from the 4th year have been placed in TCS because of their ability and hard work. Regarding studies, our college is among the top 10 best colleges of UPTU, and it holds a good rating too.

The college is still under development.

Placements: Placements in our college are average. The institute is making an effort to improve placements so that every student can get placed. But, the lack of placement cell doesn't hinder IERTians from shine. Many students got placed with good packages.

A college with really good students who can do a lot of things.

Placements: I will complete my B.Tech in 2021. From my point of view, the placements depend on the students. From the present batch of 4th year, many students got placed with an average package of Rs. 5 lakhs per annum. The college is still developing. I guess that will help in enhancing the value of our college in future. Students are doing many things on their own. The college is producing quality students. We are hoping for more companies to visit our campus that increases the number of placements.

Review of Institute of Engineering and Rural Technology, Allahabad.

Placements: Several companies visit the campus to offer placements every year. Companies like Tata Consultancy Services, Wipro, Larsen and Torpedo (L&T), Infosys, etc., frequently visit our campus. Besides the on-campus placements, several students were placed through off-campus placement drives via Codevita and other programming contests.

The college is good enough for providing a platform to grow and become prosperous.

Placements: At present, the college doesn't have a placement cell due to some issues. The college is trying to provide it. The highly motivated and enthusiastic students are awarded in various competitions which are held every day. So, such students get placed through awareness and their willingness.

Dissatisfied by the placement.

Placements: From last few years placement didn't happen at all. Only 1-2% students were placed out of all branches in all. There is no such internship offered by the college. The students need to get one by their own means. Most of the students prepare themselves for GATE CAT Civil services as they don't have any option. The students who want a job try in the off-campus placement.

Short information about IERT.

Placements: The college is very good for placements because you can get excellent placement opportunities here. It has a 99% placement rate. If you are a class topper, you can expect an average package of 5 to 6 Lacs. Overall, the average package is 3 Lacs.
