It's good for hardworking students coming from villages who are ready to survive the worst.

Placements: The students placed in my college were just a few, and those were only meritorious ones. We are made to feel inferior to CSE. The package ranges from INR 1.8 LPA to INR 20 LPA. The major companies include Infosys, L&T, etc. The students interned at IFFCO and BLW. Other than toppers, students from branches like IP, MECH, and IC face a lot of trouble and generally apply elsewhere.

Review of Institute of Engineering and Rural Technology, Allahabad.

Placements: Approximately 10-15% of students got placed in our course. The highest salary package offered was 10 LPA. Goldman Sachs, L&T, Wipro, and Infosys are the top recruiting companies. Almost 5% of students got internships in top companies. Front-end developer, back-end developer, and system analyst are the top roles offered in our course.

Very bad and less facilities water dranage system is very poor .

Placements: Placement of IERT is not good enough. The current placement scenario of IERT is improving batch by batch. 24 lpa is the highest package on campus offered by Goldman Sachs. 5 students got 12 lpa package from wipro and TCS. Chetu is the mass recruiter.

If you really want to crack higher examinations, then only choose IERT.

Placements: Only mass recruiting companies come here like TCS, Chetu etc. If we talk specifically about the placements of CSE, almost everyone gets placed via campus drives or off-campus. The average package remains at approximately 2 LPA. One of our seniors of CSE got placed at Amazon Berlin, Germany, with a whooping package of approximately 90 LPA after adjusting PPP via off-campus.

It is a poor college, and it is a waste of time and money.

Placements: Only 1 organisation visits the campus, that too belongs to sales. The salary offered is 18,000 per month. No technical company visits the campus. The T&P cell is run by volunteer students themselves. The college doesn't help even a bit. The college is just worse in terms of placements.

Infrastructure is not good, and due to semi-government college, many facilities are blocked.

Placements: Approximately 10% of the students got placement in our college. The highest salary package offered was 12 LPA, the lowest salary package offered was 2.2 LPA and the average salary package offered was 4 LPA. Companies like TCS, Magic Bricks and Tech Mahindra are the top recruiters of our college. In our course, none of the core company visited for placements. Approximately 20% of the total students got an internship in companies like Intel, Dell, TCS, Wipro, etc.

I don't recommend anyone to take admission here, poor faculty, poor placements.

Placements: In our college, only 20% to 25% of students got placed. The highest salary offered is Rs. 21,000 per month and the lowest salary offered is Rs. 15,000 per month. Top recruiting companies in our college are TCS, Mahindra, etc. Top roles offered were developer, content writer and sales profile. The highest salary package offered in my course is 2.52 LPA and the lowest salary package offered is 1.8 LPA. I don't think college provided such internship opportunities with this poor administration and p...

Ready to live in rural area.

Placements: There is no any placement cell. So it's difficult for those who thinking for placement. You have to prepare yourself for the off-campus placement. Average salary in the field of electrical engineer is 6 LPA. And the lowest might fluctuate between 2-3 LPA. And from best institute many students get more than 20 LPA. Qualcomm, UPPCL, NTPC, BHEL, Reliance Energy and many more. System Engineer, Power System Engineer, AE, and SDO. In India, many of us get internship in BHEL and NTPC.

Joining this college is a waste of 4 years of my life.

Placements: The placement scenario in this college is the worst. In 2016-17, only 1 company has visited the campus that too offered BPO roles. Students look for off-campus placements. Placements are available only for CSE students. Apart from this branch, no placements are provided to any other student.

The college no more offers electrical engineering course.

Placements: Placements in our college are nil. Students got jobs on their own. Now the electrical engineering department is closed here, so no more companies visit the campus for placements. There is a placement cell, but it's not that useful and productive. TCS visited the campus for placements, but now they are recruiting online. Some startups also visited the campus for placements.

It is better to join any other college rather than this one, join only if you want to save money.

Placements: Placements in our college are not good. Almost no companies visit the college for campus placements. Students have to try their luck off-campus only. For our batch also we are facing the same situation. No company has yet visited the college, earlier TCS used to visit nowadays it has started hiring off campus only. There is a placement cell, but it is not running well at all.
