I would not recommend students to join this college if they want to earn money.

Placements: Almost 95% of students got placed because the coordinator is very supportive. The highest salary package offered was 4.5 LPA. The lowest salary package offered was 2 LPA. Management trainees in retail stores are the top roles offered.

The review of IHM, Ahmedabad.

Placements: The placements are really good. Many big companies visit the campus, but they offer insufficient salary packages like Rs. 10,000 per month to Rs. 16,000 per month. Companies like McDonald's offer a salary package of Rs. 20,000 per month and even more attractive packages. Though a hotel like Oberoi offers roles like MT, they give very less amount of salary. It depends on the individual's choice.

The course doesn't offer anything, only they are playing with an student's career.

Placements: The placements were only for the cream of the college. Its a hotel management college, and out of 178 students, only 20% of the people get placed in the hotels, while the rest were placed in the retails. Here, the retails experience will not count in the hospitality industry. And, this was the truth of the hotel management course where they intake around 200+ students every year, from every college, and only a few were placed in the hotels, while the rest were placed in the retails to save their...

College is very good in placements and academics. The faculty are well qualified and pedagogical methods used are also superb. Also, the college life in IHM is awesome. The only think that I feel needs some improvement is the infrastructure of hostels. Almost all the big brands of hospitality visit the campus for placements.
