Q:   Question: How is the course curriculum for BCA at Institute of Innovation in Technology and Management?

    A:
    {Source: BCA students & alumni}

    Course Curriculum

    * The course curriculum is outdated and needs to be updated to reflect current industry trends. (Multiple students)
    * Teachers have limited knowledge beyond the syllabus they've been assigned to teach. (One student)
    * The course covers basic programming languages, including Java, but these topics are no longer commonly used in the industry. (Several students)
    * The curriculum focuses on theoretical knowledge, but does not adequately prepare students for the industry. (A few students)
    * The course structure is relevant for BCA, but additional subjects could be added to make it more industry-ready. (A couple of students)

It appears that the course curriculum at Institute of Innovation in Technology and Management requires significant updates to align with current industry standards. Best college for BCA in Delhi.
Placements: The highest package is 6 lakhs per annum. Wipro and TCS are the top recruiting companies. For internships, the best opportunities are provided through college society. 80 percent of students got the internship and I got placed in TCS.
Infrastructure: Facilities such as separate labs for every course and subject are available. Classrooms are luxurious like AC, seats are good, and smart classes. The library also contains AC and a quiet and neat place to study. Canteen food is hygienic and delicious and the quantity of the food is worth and the cost is medium.
Faculty: Teachers are the best part of the college. They are knowledgeable, helpful, and well-qualified. The course curriculum is up to date and notes are elaborated and meaning ful. Semester exams are much easier as what they teach are same as in examinations.

    Absolutely worth it for BCA.
Placements: Placement is very good in my college, with an average of 75% of people successfully placed in companies like Deloitte, Wipro, and Amazon, which come for the placement drive. There are special placement classes for last-year students, ensuring everyone can grab a placement based on their ability and quality.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is very good, with smart classrooms and proper maintenance, including well-maintained air conditioning, rooms, washrooms, and labs with outstanding computers. There are proper seating arrangements, separate washrooms, and auditoriums, as well as three good canteens on campus.
Faculty: The faculty are well-qualified in their specialized fields, and teachers are like friends to the students, showing proper respect and giving their best wishes for the students' future. Whenever help is needed, they are always available.
Other: In Delhi, IITM is on the list of the best BCA colleges with the best transport connections nearby, including bus stands and metro stations. Every year, there is an annual fest and fresher party for students, along with many extracurricular activities like hackathons and gaming.

Some are satisfied with the college because of the good placement opportunities offered in 2020.
Placements: About 60% of students got placed; however, the company that was supposed to be on the list did not fulfill the criteria. Companies should be in IT, but many companies came for call center and support executive roles, which was one of the big drawbacks in the placement.
Infrastructure: There are a total of four computer labs situated on the ground floor nearby the exceptions. However, overall, the college does not have a big campus. If someone is dreaming of a big campus, even my school has a bigger playground than their entire college campus.
Faculty: Teachers are supportive, and attendance here is 75 percent. One should have a 75 percent attendance; otherwise, the college staff will harass you over your internal marks and judge you based on attendance. However, exams are easy to clear; you will clear internal and external exams even without studying.
Other: The college is average but does provide placement opportunities.

My review about Institute of Innovation in Technology and Management.
Placements: As far as I have been told by the seniors, the placement rates are pretty good. Many of my known seniors have gotten placements; they said it was about 80%. The companies that I have heard of that came for placements were Nuclei and Hive. The AI, TCS, McKinley Price, and internship cell of the college are well maintained and there are separate members that help us and guide us about the internships.
Infrastructure: The college campus is pretty good—not that huge but it has all the essential stuff like well-maintained classrooms, a library for boys and girls, a common room, a seminar hall, an indoor games room and the canteen. The food in the canteen is amazing, and the other staff, like receptionist Ma'am, are helpful too.
Faculty: The teachers are well qualified and very helpful; they are happy to help outside the college hours too; they really help us with our internals and practicals; the faculty are amazing; the semester exams are decent; and during that, there is a decent amount of strictness too.
Other: The groups and clubs at the college organize events and fests pretty frequently. The best things about my course are the faculty; they are nice and helpful; the crowd is pretty decent too; seniors are helpful; and the thing I wish would be improved is the surroundings of the campus because during the day, the streets are pretty crowded and there is lots of gathering around the campus.

An average college for BCA but there are better colleges.
Placements: The placement cell is not so good according to expectations; only a few companies come onto campus and not all are for the teaching roles for the BCA programme. Even not all students meet the attendance and marking requirements. So one can go for the Masters.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is average and not so big. The computer labs are great and the classrooms are average, with some not functioning with AC. There are no facilities to play sports on the campus. The library is average with basic book support.
Faculty: The curriculum of the course is pretty decent, but there are more theoretical subjects than practical ones. The teachers are average and some will help but some will not. They will provide PPTs as notes and you can study them for college exams but not for final exams.

The education is good, but the extracurricular activities and campus are not up to the mark.
Placements: The highest package offered by our college last year was, I guess, 10 lakh, and the average is less than 5 LPA. The placements from this college don’t bring in good companies; most of the companies that have come for placements are coaching institutes. Wipro is coming, but for positions like business or something similar. Till now, I haven't seen any good companies.
Infrastructure: The classrooms and labs are actually comfortable and nice to sit in. They are fully ventilated, and each classroom has two AC units. The library is not that good; you need permission from a teacher to sit in it. The classrooms have all the necessary amenities. The only drawback in the classrooms and the building itself is that there is barely any signal because the college is near Tihar Jail, and on top of that, there is no Wi-Fi for students. The canteen is good, although some of the shops keep changing. This college is not good for sports; they do not give time for practice and do not provide any attendance for that, which leads to players not practicing. There are no facilities inside the college.
Faculty: The teachers and faculty are good. However, the older and more knowledgeable faculty have left the college, and only some senior teachers remain. Nonetheless, there is no problem in teaching; it’s actually good in terms of study and personality development. The curriculum is okay; I can't say much about that. The semester-end exams are not that difficult; they are almost always from the syllabus, so it's not that difficult.
