It gives an enjoyable college life.
Placements: Most of the students were good at their studies. Companies didn't visit our college for placements during our batch.
Infrastructure: It had a very good campus but needed a bit of maintenance. Lectures were held in classrooms. Our college doesn't provide Wi-Fi and the mobile network was below average. It had a canteen that served food for students and teachers.
Faculty: Teachers in our college were very helpful and well-qualified with master's degrees or Ph.D. Their teaching was very good. Exams were not tough. Teachers provided all the required material for exams.
Other: Campus life was not enjoyable during our batch due to the pandemic.

That's enough I think, so give WBJEE examination and come to this college through counselling.
Placements: Basically in D. Pharma placement percentage is very low but in B. Pharma it's quite good. 60% students placed in various Pharma companies after their graduation. So I think IOPJ is quite good and it's old pharmacy college in India. Cipla and others visit.
Infrastructure: Course infrastructure is not good actually, due to lack to subject teachers, students are facing problems with various pharma subjects. B. pharma hostel available but d. Pharma hostel is unavailable. College canteen facility available but I think it charges high.
Faculty: Though lack to faculty members, rest of the teachers are really best, they are always helpful with their total concern upon us. Most of the professor are Ph.D. qualified and we'll educated, I am feeling great to be their student, Difficulty is avarage.
Other: Actually the past two years was so tough, and also I want to be a healthcare professional since childhood, not as a doc so I choose this pharmacy course to fulfill my ambition. And any other thing about me college is avarage. It should be renovated as soon as possible. Scholarship facility available and I was also a college scholar.

A complete government course for studying pharmacy at extremely low cost.
Placements: Institute does not provide placements to Diploma students, but in Bachelors degree, Sun Pharma, Cipla etc. visit here. Mainly Cipla comes for placements. So, no placements by the college in Diploma. But I have seen some of my seniors get there interviews done after passing out.
Infrastructure: As it’s the first Diploma in pharmacy college, the main building is quite old, there are labs for each subject, on various small buildings, three gallery and Wi-Fi is available. Diploma in pharmacy hostel has been destroyed in 2019, since then, the hostel facility of Diploma students is abolished. However, there are various paying guests near the college. There is a big playground besides the college and district hospital, Jalpaiguri.
Faculty: All the teachers are very knowledgeable. Their minimum qualification is PhD. In case of support, you can’t find other faculty members in other colleges as supporting as them. Students are being taught on the basis of new Education Regulation for Diploma. Exams are done here, 2 sectionals and practical exams and an yearly practical and theory exam.
Other: It’s a novel profession, so if you want to help people or save people's life you might be interested. You can get scholarship also in west Bengal, SVMCM and in central NSP any one.

Institute of pharmacy jalpaiguri a good opportunity for your future.
Placements: There are 60-70% students getting a lot of opportunities through off camps and on campus. Sun Pharma, Cipla, Also Lupin Pharma etc. companies visit here. Also lots of opportunities we get from Sikkim based
pharmacy companies. Also we may get marketing jobs.
Infrastructure: Only B. pharma hostels are available D. Pharma hostels are not available for this moment due to maintenance purpose. Hostel facilities only available for boys accommodation not quite good enough. Yearly fees of hostel are small amounts, food facilities are available only for b. pharma boys students.
Faculty: Faculty members are good enough and well educated but there is a problem regarding proper classes, not a regular basis classes are happen. Also exam dates are delayed due to some college and university issue which may effect student's studies.
Other: College fest happen here but some Puja like Vishwakarma Puja, Saraswati Puja, also Holi events are happening.

I had a bad experience at the college.
Placements: Above 75% of students are placed in various industries. The highest package is 4.2 LPA, The lowest package is 1.8 LPA and the average package is 2.4-2.7 LPA. After pursuing a Bachelor degree, you can get chance in various industries as per your capability.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is very poor, There's no Wi-Fi available. The Labs are very much dirty, classrooms are not cleaned. There's no separated bathrooms for students. There is no hostel for the students. So I can' t say about the foods and medical facilities. Canteen food prices are high but quality is very much poor.
Faculty: Teachers are not so much helpful. Some of them are highly qualified therefore, the teaching quality is average. No, they can't make us ready for the industry. The pass percentage is 50 percentile. The semester is very much difficult.
.
Other: No there are no extracurricular activities held in our college.

This is the only government pharmacy college and it is very helpful to get a job.
Placements: Our college didn't provide any placements in the previous year. But some teachers are very helpful and they help students to get jobs. Mr. Swapan Kumar Pathak sir is generally very popular for helping students. In the previous year, Cipla hired 5 students from a batch, and they offered a salary package of 2.2 LPA.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of this college is not good. It is a state government college that's why lab materials are not well maintained. Wi-Fi is available, and they provide only 25 MB daily in the previous year. A canteen is available, but the food quality is not up to the mark.
Faculty: Some teachers are very helpful. But a few are not helpful and they always target you if you are against him. Some teachers always tell that I will cut your marks in your exam. This is horrible. Classes are not taken on a daily basis. Only one teacher is well disciplined and provides the right teaching to students.
