Labs in IPHH are very good for practical learning.
Placements: Many students are able to grab campus placements because a good number of companies visit here for recruitment. The highest package offered is not very high because this is one-year Diploma course only, and all students are freshers in our batch. The highest package goes to 3.7 LPA, the lowest package is 1.9 LPA, and the average package is 2.4 LPA. The starting salary package is good because many people told me that one can get a hike soon after getting some work experience. Almost every student gets an internship in different labs and hospitals.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of IPHH is really good. The classrooms are not air-conditioned, still it is cool in summer. Labs are well-equipped with the latest technology equipment. The campus has hostel facilities for boys and girls. The hostel is comfortable, and the food quality is good. Mess serves quality and hygienic meals every day. The hostel has all facilities like Wi-Fi, TV in the common room, CCTV, 24-hours security etc.
Faculty: The faculty members are well qualified and give proper time to every student for the growth and development of every student. The teachers are very helpful and always clear doubts of all students. All terms in this course are new to me, but still I learned in an easy way because of the support of teachers. I am really thankful to all faculty members. The course content of Diploma in catch lab technician is very good, and it makes students ready for the industry.

Good placement but salary package is not good.
Placements: There was 100% placement from my course but the highest salary package were only 3.6 lac per annum. Most of student from our batch were freshers only and salary package after completing course is not very high. Every student from our course get internship but it was not paid internship. During the internship we get to learn lots of things which helps during placement and after placement.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure of Institute of public health and hygiene is overall very good. Institute has three building but wi-fi works in only two building. In Lab building wi-fi do not work at great speed. Classroom is as per standard. Library has huge number of books related to course and competitive exam. I do not have much idea about hostel because I have not taken hostel facility. There is no canteen facility in institute. Medical facility is excellent because institute has their own hospital in college building only.
Faculty: This is more than 40 year old institute and few faculty here teaching from last 20 years. HOD and Principle mam both are very supportive and active in institute. They always interact with student about any issue or problem. Teachers are knowledgeable and their teaching quality is also good. Semester exam is not very difficult because most of marks student can gain from practical and passing marks is only 40%.
Other: I was already doing job in X-Ray lab and I did this course so that I can get chance to work with reupdated labs with good salary package. Campus surroundings are good. Bus stand and metro station located at walking distance. Campus crowd and campus life is just average.
