My college comes with great faculties and infrastructure with the best placement for my branch.
Placements: Nearly 90 percent of students were placed in my course. The highest package was 52 LPA, and the average package was 8.51 LPA last year. There were companies like IBM and Google in my course. Several other companies like Tata and Zomato also came for students. Most of the students got internships in my course, with some of them getting internships in companies like Google and Zomato.
Infrastructure: My college comes with the best facilities. It has many departments and a huge campus. All classes have Wi-Fi, and you can also use Wi-Fi in labs. The quality of labs is very good. It also provides hostels for students with great quality, and there are 3 canteens which serve great food. It also has the best medical and sports facilities and sports clubs.
Faculty: All the faculties are highly educated and kind. They are helpful to us; yes, they are well knowledgeable, and the quality of teaching is best. Teaching is relevant to the course curriculum. The semester exams are not very difficult, but they ask tricky questions. The pass percentage is above 90 percent.

    Review of NIRMA UNIVERSITY .
Placements: Every year, up to 85% of students were placed in B.Tech in chemical. In the current year (2024), around 93% of students were placed in our branch with an average package of 7 LPA and the highest package of 13 LPA. There are a total of up to 80 companies that provide recruitment with high salaries and other great facilities.
Infrastructure: Have very good facilities like modern classrooms with air conditioning, projectors, lights, and new-style benches and chairs. The hostel fee is around 80000 per year and have the best food quality and other facilities. There are also many sports activities here that will help you to participate at the national level easily.
Faculty: We have a 3-component exam in which 0.3, 0.4, and 0.3 marks will be calculated to make the CGPA. First are 3 class tests, in which the best of 2 will be considered. Then a sessional exam (mid-semester) will be conducted with 60 marks. At last, but not least, the semester end exam will be conducted.
Other: I chose B.Tech in chemical because there are very few colleges that have a chemical branch for engineering, and Nirma has one and is very reputed as well as highly valued.

Review of mechanical engineering at Nirma University.
Placements: In mechanical engineering last year, 110 students applied for placement, in which there was 92% placement ratio. The average salary offered was 7.5 LPA and the highest package offered in mechanical was 14 LPA. The lowest package offered was 6 LPA. Top recruiting companies for mechanical are: Bosch, Tata Motors, Adani, Reliance, Torrent, Power, Tata Power, Mahindra, Amazon, Google, TCS, etc. The roles offered in our college are in IT companies; mostly the roles are managerial roles to lead the team. In power sector and energy sector, mainly the roles of engineer is to design and improve the performance and efficiency of machines. In the manufacturing industry, it is to see and lead the workers and to apply cost-cutting operations. The internships are offered after 6 semesters at the college. Currently, I am studying in the 5th semester, so I have not much idea about it. But companies like ISRO, Adani, BIS, etc. give the projects and internship very much to NIRMA UNIVERSITY. Currently I am also working on project funded by BIS (bureau of Indian standards) in which I have to analyze the design and strength of materials used in transmission lies.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure of Nirma: sports ground (badminton, cricket, table tennis, volleyball, racing track, tennis), 4 hostels (h1, h2, h3, h4), auditoriums, 3 canteens, medical block, bus facility, computer labs, sitting areas, vending machines, etc. For my department: Wi-Fi, Cad software labs, CAM machines like CNC and VMC, vmc conventional machines in workshop, all core thermodynamics subjects labs, auditorium, non-AC classrooms, mechanical library, centre for robotics lab. In the hostel, the basic facilities were given, like bed, AC, tables and washrooms, induction, fridge, etc. The quality of food in mess and canteen is average only. Once my friend got food poisoning also eating food of mess, so hygiene wise it is poor.
Faculty: Most of the teachers are not at all friendly and they also do not have much knowledge, They only know how to shoot and sell at the students and not know how to teach the subject. Also, the head and teachers will not understand the problems of the students and the new rules made in college are always in the benefit of faculty only. The course curriculum is relevant as we are learning all the core subjects of mechanical. Also, there is a facility to opt for minors, so you can also learn CS law and management subjects even if you are doing mechanical. Yes, there is always a barrier between theoretical engineering and practical engineering, but it is reduced somehow by students of GTU colleges. The end-of-semester exams are moderate, out of which 70% paper is always easy and rest 30% is always difficult, thus you can easily score at least 50-60 marks and get passed. The pass ratio is 85%, so 10–15 students fail the end-of-semester exams and have to give a supplementary exam.
Other: The best things about mechanical is that it is easy and once you know the concepts, you can clear it. Also, manufacturing is more practical and needed in every sector. The main thing all engineers love of mechanical is designing the component and Thermodynamics. Now a days you can analyse where your component will be failing and the critical points using FEA and computational fluid dynamics. Things I wish to get improved are that instead of learning all department subjects in the first year, rather software like SolidWorks, CATIA, and Ansys should be taught in the first year more deeply. Events in Nirma are held most from Jan to April. Main events are vaudeville, ashwamedha, praveg, Kalp, etc. Campus is big and lush green campus. The public coming to Nirma is decent and coming from well-settled families. There are two main scholarships, MYSY and NIRMA SCHOLARSHIP SCHEME; more details you will get on website about it.

    Comprehensive review of Nirma University.
Placements: The average package for the computer science branch is 6-7 LPA, and the overall placement is good. Approximately 90% of students are placed every year, with the highest package this year being 52 LPA at Google. Top recruiters include Deutsche Bank, DE Shaw, Oracle, and Samsung. For placement-related queries, students can contact the placement cell, known as the III Cell.
Infrastructure: The hostel facilities at this college are available to female candidates and those in the residential program (MBA). The hostel has a gym, attached wash areas, air-conditioned rooms with attached balconies, a mess, and laundry facilities. The college has a library, computer labs with Wi-Fi, and well-organized classrooms.
Faculty: The faculty are well qualified, with all of them holding Ph.D. degrees. They have a great depth of knowledge, both conceptual and theoretical. The curriculum is updated regularly, so you are learning the most relevant and up-to-date courses that are in demand in the industry.
Other: Along with the core courses in the computer science branch, we are offered some specialization courses as minors in our syllabus. The focus should be more on gaining practical knowledge than theoretical. Campus life is very happening, along with various facilities for multiple events and equal importance is given to extracurricular activities as well. There are various scholarships opportunities available, such as MYSY, Reliance, SDEF, etc.

    Comprehensive review on Nirma University.
Placements: The placement seasons are currently going on and till now, 5 companies were welcome. The average package at our college is Rs. 12 lakh. The highest package provided in the placement is Rs. 35 lakh. And the lowest package provided by a company is Rs. 4 lacs. Every year, 95% of students get placed in the placement season. The top role offered is software development.
Infrastructure: There is a high-speed Wi-Fi connection available at the college that can be used by any student. In order to access the Wi-Fi, we need to just fill out a form and they will register our laptop into their system. There is a 3-story library at the college, which is currently under construction but will be ready by the end of the month. The hostels at our college are for students pursuing MBAs and master's degrees. B.Tech. students have to find a place outside of the college.
Faculty: The professors here are very helpful. They are very approachable and are always ready to help us at any given time. They make the classes interactive so that we do not feel sleepy and the class does not feel boring. The semester exams here are a bit hard as they prepare us for the real challenge that we will face when we finish college. This makes the students ready for the industry.
Other: I chose this course as it is an upcoming and booming industry. There are many opportunities coming up in computer science, and there are many things that can be researched in this domain. There are many festivals happening in our college across the year for the entertainment of the students. There are also many different scholarships provided by the college to help the students.

Some good things and some bad things about our college -Nirma University.
Placements: Around 85% of the batch gets placed every year. The highest package was 13 lpa, with an average package of 6.16 lpa. Almost every student who gets an internship opportunity is willing to do it. College helps a lot in finding companies for internships. In electrical engineering, students are offered the role of head of the electrical department of the company.
Infrastructure: In our course, some of the classes are non-existent, which is a big issue in the summer. Other classes are well maintained with decent furniture and facilities. Computers and other laboratories are well-equipped and maintained. Hostel rooms are good enough and food is also good but a bit expensive.
Faculty: All the teachers are well qualified and more than half of them are Ph.D. holders. Some of the teachers are very casual and are not serious about their work. But others are good and put in enough effort to make the concept clear to the students. Laboratory work in every subject made students somewhat industry-ready. It is really difficult to pass the semester-end exams as the level of the exam paper is on the tough side and checking is also strict. 34% is the pass percentage.
Other: I got admission through my JEE Main marks and according to my marks I got an electrical branch. Electrical engineering is a flexible and evergreen branch. Events and fests are regularly held in every field, including technology. The campus is located on the SG Highway, which makes its surroundings good enough.
