After having completed LLM, you become a postgraduate in Law thus job opportunities are no less. You may apply in various PSUs as legal officer and earn a handsome salary of 60k to 70k per month and perquisites of being a central government employee. Also, you may apply to various banks including RBI for legal officer or Grade 2 officers and again earn handsome salaries and perquisites. Apart from this, you may appear for judicial services exam wherein LLM degree shall have advantage in your promotions. Also, you may apply for professor at NLUs and again get a government professor status after contractual probation period. Again, UPSC is always available and an LLM would help you in your mains exam, if you keep law as an optional subject. Thus, opportunities in service sector are unlimited after having an LLM. Also, you may become a government counsel after a particular period of practice based on nominations and achievements.
