Awesome university of Allahabad, good placements in the year 2016 and 2017.

Placements: My batch and my senior's batch placements were terrific. TCS selects most of the students. The highest and the lowest salary offers were Rs. 10 lakhs and Rs. 6 lakhs respectively, while the average salary offer is Rs. 7.5 lakhs. The best roles are offered to the students in the IT sector. The average stipend offered to the students was Rs. 30,000 per month.

AU is for everyone - it is a better university.

Placements: The University of Allahabad is one of the better universities of Uttar Pradesh. It is a central university, where every facility is very good, and its library is too good. The whole campus is divided into four parts which are science faculty, commerce faculty, art faculty and hi-fi admin faculty. It has 13 Hostel, and one of the best hostels is the Amaranatha Jha hostel (Muir Hostel) - where in ancient times, many IAS officers were born. It has many colleges. Its educational standard was decreas...

Review of the University of Allahabad.

Placements: The placement was not so good. Only one company TCS used to visit Allahabad University and it offered a very less amount for students. They offered only BPO jobs. The salary for that job was not good enough for someone in a mega city to fulfill his needs.

Only study irrespective of any other activity.

Placements: The placement is not so good. Only TCS has come every year but in name of placements, it just appoints for BPO posts. As far as we know, very few companies used to visit for their placements. If any such good reputed company comes, it only goes to MNNIT for their placements. The University of Allahabad was known for the selection of students in IAS exam but now its reputation has gone down to its least point. When talking about my batch's placement record, I would say that only two or three stud...

J.K Institute of Applied Physics and Technology, University Of Allahabad.

Placements: In our batch, almost everyone got placed except a few. We had a batch of 48 including both CSE and ECE. Out of them, 22 were placed in TCS, 4 were placed in Icon Resources and 2 were placed in EXL Analytics. EXL Analytics offered a handsome package of 6 LPA and offered the post of business analyst, Icon Resources opened up for 3 different positions i.e business intelligence, sales force, and business marketing and offered 6, 6 and 4.5 LPA respectively. I joined this college based on its glorious history but the present condition is not that good. The atmosphere of the university it is situated inside is getting notorious day by day after the formation of student union. The education quality is not up to the mark. The course content hasn't been updated from a long time and the infrastructure is poor. The management is not taking any constructive step towards the betterment of the college and exposure to the industry is almost zero. The standar...

A college where you would get sufficient time to groom yourself as an individual, but apart from that only problem here is of lack of opportunities from the college end but overall it’s completely worth your money and now offering 100% placements too.

Absolutely dissatisfied with everything this college has to offer.

Placements: The highest package offered is INR 2-3 LPA, and mostly there are no campus placements in this college (at least, in my opinion, there aren’t any). There aren’t even many students in this college—like 100 students per batch. There isn’t any coding culture at all. The college is not worth it.

It has the best ROI policy.

Placements: Approximately 50% of students who attended placements were placed. The highest salary package offered is 18 LPA, and the lowest is 3.5 LPA. Top recruiting companies are IndiaMart, Tech Mahindra, TCS, HCL, Wipro, and Infosys. The college provides quality education at an affordable price.

Placements: The average salary package offered is 3-4 LPA. The majority of the students are absorbed in various government jobs by clearing various competitive exams. This university has a great record of students that clear state civil services and UPSC exams. Overall, if you are from professional courses, then you can get a good placement.
