JIMSVK : One of the best colleges to go for BJMC

Placements: The placements for the college have been great for BJMC so far as compared to the other courses available there. The fact of BJMC being present just in Vasant Kunj branch of JIMS is in itself an exhibit of how wonderfully students get placed. I got myself placed at one of the great multinational PR agencies in the industry. It isn't just my calibre that helped, but also JIMS which provided me with this opportunity.

JIMS VK an emerging name in business schools.

Placements: Many companies came but offered too low packages ranging from 1.5 LPA to 2.2 LPA. Mass recruiters were TCS, Infosys, Accenture, Cognizant. 90% students got placed in placements. Java developers were at the edge of placements process. No companies came to college for offering summer internships.

Poor infrastructure. Average placements.

Placements: The placement cell is quite average. The average salary is 2 lakh per annum. Lok Sabha TV, Zee News, etc. Internship- I think 30 percent. Some students got placed by the college but a lot have not got any type of placement from the college. I didn't get any placement from the college. In simple words, we can say that our college does not have many placements.

Absolutely satisfied because of faculty, good placements in 2017, with really good infrastructure

Placements: Placements were nice. Around 70-80% students have been placed from those who opted for the placements. The highest package was around 4 lacs and the lowest was 2 lacs. Companies like RBS, Godrej, WNS, UrbanClap, Axestrack, Guesthouser and much more visited for the placements. Around 80% students got the placement for the internship with the lowest stipend of zero and the highest stipend of 12000 per month.

JIMS - The perfect B-school a student wants

Placements: Placement after BBA is not such great. Many mid-range companies visit Jagannath International Management School for placement offering packages from 1.5 lacs to a maximum of 3.5 lacs. Placement is almost 60% in JIMS. Many small-sector and medium-sector companies visit for placements for jobs like customer service or desk job.

Absolutely satisfied with the college because of the faculty as well as the exposure we got there.

Placements: Excellent placement facilities. Companies from all over India come and select the students. They offer jobs in different fields so that accordingly a student can select the job suitable for him. Around 70% students got selected last year. The average salary offered is 4 lakhs per annum.

Overall, the college is good for BBA with proper facilities but they should improve infrastructure.

Placements: The college provides average placement with an average package of 2.5 lakhs. Internships are also provided by the college but students prefer taking it from the college because college does not provide very good companies. The stipend offered is 3-5 thousand and usually, small-scale companies come for placements as well as for internships.

Why not to chose JIMS VK for BCA course.

Placements: Let's start with internship: The college does not help in getting any kind of internship at all. You have to hunt down internships on your own. The stipend I got is 1k. Placements: Before taking the admission into this college, I was informed that the college has good placement records. It seemed so true but at my time, it just got worst. Most of the companies visiting the campus are service based companies such as IBM, Concentrix, TCS and they are offering technical support job, nothing else wi...

Think before you join. Career and choices should we focussed on.

Placements: Companies do come for the placement but don't have such great packages. Most of the companies are from the insurance sector. But there are very few companies that give a great opportunity and package. Many students prefer MBA before job so as to get a better package.

Review of JIMS College Vasant Kunj.

Placements: Placements and job opportunities are good as an average BBA student can get 25000 per month as a starting salary which is not bad for a starter. It offers good jobs like duty free at the airport with cab services. Our college treats its good students really well.

Placements should be improved. Good Wi-Fi connectivity.

Placements: Placements were not good. Few students got placed. The companies that came for placements were Airtel, Aon Hewitt, Grofers, E&Y etc. The first company that came for placements was Airtel for the post of CCE. Only 40% of the students got placed. 90% of the students got an internship from the college. None of the companies offered a stipend.

Best college under IP University for BBA, BCA and BJMC.

Placements: Placements are good as compared to other colleges under IP university. Companies like Aon, Airtel, EY, consultancy firms etc. normally offer a package of around 2.5 lakh to 3.5 lakh annually. For internships, companies like ING Vysya, Life insurance and Axis bank come.

Poor placements but good labs for more exposure.

Placements: When I passed out in the year 2016, it was the worst. They really don't have any contacts and till date, the concerned person is same. So, I don't think the situation would have improved. There are a handful of people who got the internship that too in some start up. You can't expect any high-end company for internships as well as for a job. Most of the students got placed by themselves.

Our college is one of the best colleges in south campus. You will have the best days here.

Placements: We were promised 100% placement and almost each and every student who opted for campus recruitment got selected in one or the other company. The college even provided us with internship opportunities with good companies. Companies like HCL, Sharekhan, Tax Manager, etc. were some of the companies in which students did their internship.

JIMS was a great experience.

Placements: Placements are good. At least 75 percent of students got placed. The highest package was 35000 and the lowest was 15000. Aviva, Max, Avon and Genpact visited for placements. Students need to have at least 60 percent to get the internship from the college. Every student had the opportunity to sit for the placements even if the percentage/attendance was short.

Placements: At the end of 5th semester, many companies like Tommy Hilfiger, Nestle, Sunfeast, etc. come for placement and many students are selected in that. Salary package is good. Facilities and incentives are great. All in all, it's a very good college to take admission in.
