They help us in getting internships and jobs. Around 20-25 students get internships and jobs every year. The average stipend is Rs. 6000.

Great college. Poor infrastructure.

Placements: The college has a great placement value. Top companies from different media houses visit to select the students from different batches. Last year, I saw BBA students getting hired into production houses to manage finances, so there's a scope for everyone. JIMS pass outs are doing really great; at least of the seniors I know. Some have been placed in Endemol, Godrej, etc. while others are just working on their startups only.

Jagannath International Management School - A great college .

Placements: The placements of the college are very good.Since the college is private, it has very good corporate relations with good companies like TCS, KPMG etc. The placements department is also very good and keeps it all very formal and organised which is greatly liked by the recruiters.

A lifelong experience because of friendly environment and great crowd which promotes creativity.

Placements: They will provide with basic placements for all the interested students. Don't expect fat pay cheques as media and journalism field jobs are initially low paying. You can expect around 15,000-20,000 per month after graduating. Most of the job profiles would be for content creation, client servicing or hardcore reporting.

My college was really good. I say this because they had a sense of professionalism in their activities that they made sure we developed during our time there. It was set up in a good location which made it easily accessible to the students. The infrastructure was well maintained and up to date which made the learning experience worth it. Another thing I liked about the college was that they encouraged us towards sports and extracurricular activities as well.

JIMS is already a brand. The best part about this is college is its crowd, as they make you feel so confident that a guy having stage fear can also perform well on-stage as well as in studies. The faculty members are also supportive, whether it is about your assignment or a project, they will always be there for you. The worst part is its infrastructure as they do not have any ground here. But now, they have a proper canteen. We had a lot of fun and had a great time here.
