It's a great Institute to study. If you really want to be a Master of Finance, don't hesitate to join this Institute. We are fortunate to have excellent Faculty. We do have a well-equipped Finance lab, known as ‘Prabhudas Liladhar Finance Lab’. Other departments are also very good with highly qualified and experienced faculty. There is a well-equipped gym also at hostel.
The IFIM is a great place for the finance people, whoever interested in finance can join in this college. The faculty are marvellous, they will help you in theory and as well as practical. Here they conduct physical fitness programs to the students so they can be physical fit.
It's good college for finance department and in terms of placement. People looking to make career in finance and investment banking can find the college very suitable and helpful but the college is very strict in terms of physical fitness and that has led students to not paying full attention to their academics. Overall, the college is good.
It is a good B-School, located in Bangalore but is not marketed well as a Brand, and hence many people do not know about the institute. It provides good curriculum, industry exposure but lacks in proper placement mechanism. Institute brings well experienced faculty from industry and this is one of its biggest strengths. Alumnus whom I know, have done extremely well and are flag bearers of the institute.
IFIM B School was nice, got to know about management mantra here. It provides real time case studies and healthy environment. Faculty was very good and the best part was 6months of internship for which we would be paid. I would definitely miss my hostel. It was just like my second home. Whatever I am here today is just because of the IFIM.
It is a good B-school with decent pedagogy. Low industry connect and above average placement cell. They need to improve their industry connections with the help of alumni interaction. Good faculty and infrastructure. It is a good option in Bangalore after XIME and ABA. Better ranking can make this a great brand.
IFIM B School boasts of a good infrastructure, calm locality, witty professors and a good mix of students from across the country. The B-School has some really good intelligent students and it could do really better by not providing admissions for students with lesser entrance test scores. As for the placements, I probably got the best job in my batch and that has inspired multiple students to do better academically as well as in co-curricular activities. The college promotes a variety of diffe...
Faculty is very great, missing with in-depth topics of Finance, lack of Bloomberg terminal, industry visits, better to add Macros and VBA, Would be better if college provides internal Specializations in Finance like mergers and acquisitions, investment banking, wealth management,".
I salute this college because whatever I am today is all because of this college. I was taught by fantastic faculty. It had an awesome study environment. I would say IFIM has nice infrastructure and have all eminent facilities which edge this college with its competitors. I would highly recommend this college to any graduate. Now comes the part which I feel need to be little unbalance. First, I feel the fee should be little low. Second, IFIM should have some more ground for sports like Basketb...
IFIM is a great campus which provides all vital inputs required to make any B-School successful. Great Faculty with wide industry experience which makes the whole college a learning experiential. . Then comes the infrastructure which is at par or better with any best B-School in the country today.
It was good for finance students. Good professors and administration. I did my PG in international business. It was a nice experience to learn the subject with the core. Biggest problem in the college is the hostel which was very far from the college. Placements were not up to the mark.
Management is only interested in collecting fee and placements are really worst. If we are paying 10 lakhs, we would expect a job with least to least 4LPA, but not more than 5 companies visited for pure finance profile with decent salary. Infrastructure is not up to the mark and faculty is average.
IFIM has state of the art infrastructure, management and core domain exposure via corporate, experienced faculty members and 95% + campus placement with companies of repute makes IFIM a remarkable management education experience. I would rate it at par with Christ University though ROI could be on little low in initial 2-3 years.
I have mixed reviews for this college. Even though the campus facilities and exposure which it provides through its events is fabulous; the Placements are only average. The fee structure at my time of joining was very high, which I feel is not worth the money as the ROI is lowered. The faculty is best and top of the mark during my time.
A perfect platform to optimize your potential and also exploit the huge reserve of knowledge available there. It’s a great place to optimize and grow out of the Indian system of spoon feeding, while general guidelines are provided. The faculty and the facilities, just meets the needs as much as any MBA student across the Nation would require. It’s all up to you and how you want to groom yourself out of a place, where you have batteries of inputs to sculpt yourself.
Overall a good college and the best part is the faculty. If you want to learn and have the urge please enroll. Will get all kind of support from the staff. Faculty will help only those who are eager to learn. Rest can actually enjoy their money getting burnt. But if you are here after looking at the placement records, not the best place to be. The numbers are just numbers. A lot of companies will offer on paper and never recruit you. Although I do not blame the college. You were here to learn. ...
IFIM Business School is one of the best educational institutes I have ever visited. The campus is just amazing. Hostel facilities are also available for the students. But the most important thing about choosing a B-school is about placement. In placement, the college provides average placement.
Faculty is well experienced and campus life is good. Campus is in the middle of the industrial hub. The other thing which is different from other colleges is that we have course called Personality enhancement program(pep) which helps us to improve our communication skills and to shape our personality by exercises.
Faculty members are excellent, so is the placement department, but there are too many restrictions and stupid rules in hostel. 90% attendance is must. If you want to take admission in this college better stay in a private hostel. There is too much pressure for studies.
