The college has really good infrastructure and facilities for the students.

Placements: JD institute of fashion technology has good placements every year. Around 30–35% of the students gets placed in our course. The average package offered in our course was between 3-6 LPA. The top recruiters at the college were fashion technology and services companies. The top roles offered were fashion designer, marketing, animation, etc.

The college has only a few faculty members due to which students do not receive much attention.

Placements: I'm a fresher. We have just completed our 1st-semester exams, and there is a long way for our internships or placements. However, we get some great opportunities to work for certain events and learn how to organise shows, which helps us to make some good contacts.

Satisfied with the faculty members and placements, but the infrastructure can be improved.

Placements: I am new to the college, and I haven't been through the placement process yet. But I have heard that the college provides a lot of placement opportunities, and that is what has attracted me to join this college. I am looking forward to the placements of our batch.

We need highly experienced faculty members.

Placements: Placements in our college were very good in the previous year. Almost 100% of students were placed. Internships were offered at the beginning, and various roles such as designer, fashion manager, etc., were offered. Companies like Zara, H&M, Tommy Hilfiger, Levis, Reebok, Jockey, Arvind, etc., visited our campus for placements.

Overall, the college is nice but also has a few drawbacks.

Placements: I'm still a student of the first year, so I don't know much about the placements conducted in our college. But as far as I know, the college provides job opportunities in various top brands. They offer roles like designers, fashion merchandiser, and fashion consultant. Students can even set up their own boutique.

I'm blessed to be a part of JD.

Placements: It is one of the best colleges for a fashion course. Many reputed companies have links with our college, so they provide many opportunities for the students. I am very much happy to be a part of JD Institute of Fashion Technology. It's one of the finest institutes of Bangalore.

The college has good faculty members and infrastructure, but it should also have canteen facilities.

Placements: Placements in our college have been pretty good from the past, and the college has tie-ups with many good companies. You will be placed in some good company if you possess the required skills. Also, we get good internship opportunities for gaining experience, but ultimately, it depends on how we utilise our potential.

There is a fun and good working environment, and the faculty are helpful.

Placements: Students get placed in various fashion houses. Teachers help the students in getting placed in the right company by understanding the students' interest and also their work. Students also get to work under the guidance of designers. Trips to London are organised for about 20 days a year, and students get to work with stylists for photo shoots.

Faculty members are the best. Their teaching and guidance are excellent.

Placements: I am still pursuing my course, so I am not sure about placements. However, the college has good industrial tie-ups, so it's possible for all the students to get placed in any reputed company. I have no idea about the internships.

I had a good and fruitful experience at JD Institute.

Placements: The college has offered a lot many placement opportunities. Various companies like H&M, VOI Jeans, Tommy Hilfiger, etc., visited the campus to offer placements. All my classmates got placed and are working in renowned places as a stylist or as a PR. The average salary offered by these brands is Rs. 10,000-25,000 per month. It is indeed a good experience to be a part of the campus interviews that are conducted in our college.

It is a good college to join and experience life.

Placements: The college has tie-ups with many well-known companies. One can check the names of companies by visiting our website. We get an online portal on which we upload our work and portfolios which are open to the companies. Based on the portfolios they see, they call us for interviews. We also get internship opportunities from the college.

I'm completely satisfied with the college.

Placements: I'm not very sure about the placements in our college. As far as I've heard, our college provides rebate exchange program to London, the United Kingdom which is worthy and immensely helps the students to gain experience and exposure. Students gain a lot of knowledge in that program.

I am satisfied with the college.

Placements: We are the students of the ongoing batch of March 2018, so placement drives are yet to be organised for us. We hope that we get good placements and good future. The salary offered to students is around Rs 10,000 per month. Most of the companies have visited the campus for placements, and all our alumni had good experiences with placements.

The college has good and friendly faculty members.

Placements: Well-reputed companies visit the college to offer placements. We can get placed if we are good at our work. Students can easily get placements outside if we have the certificate of JD Institute. The college has a lot of value in the fashion field. Overall, the college is good for those who want to enter the fashion sector.

JD Institute is the best.

Placements: Placements in the college are very good. We get trained more in the practical aspect of the course. The roles offered are fashion consultant, fashion stylist, fashion merchandiser, visual merchandiser, etc. The stipend offered is around Rs. 10,000-20,000 per month. The opportunities offered in the college are really helpful.

The college is good but I'm not satisfied with the placements.

Placements: While taking admission, it was said that more than 100 companies will visit the campus for placements. But they didn't provide enough placement opportunities. We have completed our course, but we are still waiting for placements. The college claimed that they will provide placements, so we are still waiting for improvement in the scenario.

I'm satisfied with the facilities provided by the college.

Placements: There are some really good placements provided by our college, but the quality of work matters at the end. The college does its work in the best way. We get opportunities to work with industries as well. Students have to do an internship for one complete semester.

For a design student, JD Institute is worth the investment of both time and money.

Placements: Placements in the college are good enough to an extent. As far as I know, many companies are visiting for placements. Students are being recruited on a regular basis. The college has a separate team to look after the placements. Campus drives are a good part of the college. We have placements for both fashion and interior departments.

The college has good faculty members but modules and syllabus can be planned in advance.

Placements: Placements in the college are good. Companies are visiting our campus for placement drives. They offer different job roles for different courses. Companies like Tommy Hilfiger, CK, and some other startup companies also visited our campus. They offered salaries of Rs. 15,000 per month. I didn't attend the interviews as I joined the course a few months back, but the information I got to know about the companies will help me to prepare for interviews in future.
