Review of JD Institute of Fashion Technology- Corporate Center, Hauz Khas.
Placements: There are 100% placements in JD Institute of Fashion Technology. Opportunities are great and endless. A good portfolio and the knowledge we get help to get you to enter the industry. Companies like Hulsta, Filo, etc., visit the college for placements. The average salary package offered is 3.8 LPA. My plan after doing the postgraduate program is to get a good placement from the college and to grow well in the industry.
Infrastructure: The campus is pretty good. It is at the most happening area of Delhi. It has a resource room, library, and hang-out areas. Classrooms are up to the mark to learn the technical drawings, and it has boards. The campus is fully Wi-Fi enabled, and we do online searching trends and design through WGSN.
Faculty: Teachers here are well versed in the modules. Faculty members are very helpful and good. It makes our learning easier and in a joyful manner. All doubts are cleared by the teachers. Even during the time of online, they ensure that we are able to get full knowledge. Exams are difficult. If one attends the classes and does the assignments on time, then they will be able to pass the exams.
Other: I have some previous courses related to it, so to upgrade my knowledge and education I have chosen this course. The best thing about this course is it prepares you fully to face the challenges of the industry. The level of the PG course is totally different when compared to other courses. The college ensures to give us regular industry workshops, seminars, master-classes, and talks like furniture hardware Hafele, Greenlam to understand the laminates, veneers, art of public speaking and presentation by image consulting business institute.

Crowd is good, location ( hauz khas) fantastic, faculty and facilities are amazing.
Placements: Top recruiting companies are HACKERS, HULSTA, ARTFORM INDIA, filo DESIGN, Twelve North. Packages offered are 3.6 lacs per annum.
Percentage of students getting placement is 99%.
JD has great industry grasp so students get a good package in reputed companies.
Infrastructure: All the facilities regarding the course are available at the campus like design tables, Wi-Fi, labs, studious, well-equipped classrooms, smart class, library, resources room have everything that a designer need. Canteen, medical facilities, staff ready to assist you, etc.
Faculty: Faculty is A-one at JD, they are highly qualified and always ready to assist you regarding your doubts and issues, be it your assignments or classes or any other issue you might be facing. Course curriculum is designed in a way to make you industry ready by giving a platform where you learn from your own experiences and a set of practical knowledge.
Other: I choose this course due to my passion after working 4 years in the banking industry I finally wanted to do something for my passion. After a thorough research I found out that JD is the right choice for me. Even in the pandemic JD has arranged many workshops, events, and webinars/seminars for their students to better understand the industry and the course requirements. Really good infrastructure and the best teaching I have ever seen.
Placements: 1. 80% percentage of the students were placed in our college.
2. Top recruiting companies are Live space and dream design company.
3. The student having 80 percent got internship from interior courses and also based on its skills and creative approach.
Infrastructure: 1. JD college provide all most all facilities and infrastructure for interior designing course eg. Wi-Fi available on each department, classrooms are well maintained and well cleaned. Even we have a separate tables for working drawings.
2. Quality of food available in the mess and hostel very good.
Faculty: 1. Teachers are very helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. Teachers give their 110% percent to the students.
2. Even in times of corona our faculty team organising a personal sessions of motivation for better growth and better future for students.
Other: 1. I have chosen this course because the creative mind that we have to put in this, it means a lot to us, it is your job that we can do it in a way.
2. I am was very passionate to choose this course.
3. I am feeling as a designer, the designer fulfill the client requirements and give a very beautiful lifestyle.

I have learned a lot of techniques for fashion designing. It's a great place to get to know a lot.
Placements: Our college is great to start your career on your own. There have been some placements in the best companies, and the quality of visiting companies here is great. Many of the students started their own stint in fashion designing and have succeeded. Many of the fashion designers working now in the Limelight are the students of our campus. Salary packages offered sometimes will be low initially, but there are ample opportunities to grow.
Infrastructure: The hostel is available for all the students who come from areas outside Delhi for their respective campus. All facilities are available, and it is one of the institutes which follows and trains students in international fashion techniques. Canteen and mess facilities are available, but most of the crowd finds one place or two places outside the campus to hang out and chit chat.
Faculty: Faculty members here are amazing, and many noteworthy guest lecturers conduct sessions once in two months, etc. The teaching quality of the teachers is great as they do many excellent exercises to bring out the creativity in students. Students passing out from here are well prepared for the harshness of the industry. The course curriculum is structured as per the standard instructions of the university.

Worth it for exposure but curriculum needs to be improvised.
Placements: As of now placements have been average for our batch. They provide us with placement but take quite a time for that. But yes they got good contacts With some great reputed architects and Interior designers for internship and placements. Around 50% students were offered for internship from our batch.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure for us wasn't the best, but yes now it's improving and changed are being made. We were provided with Wi-Fi, practical labs, drafting tables etc. Overall the infrastructure was average during our batch but as of now I have seen changes being made to improve the experience of the students.
Faculty: Not all the teachers but yes the college had a few teachers as a gem. They were really very knowledgeable and experienced not only in a particular subject but in overall in respect to our field. We got a lot of exposure and practical experience. But the course curriculum wasn't that great.
Other: Annual design awards.
