PGDM in International Business - Batch of 2024

JIMS being a top B-school: real or fake.
Placements: Seventy percent of students are placed. Companies like Grant Thornton and BlackRock come for placements. For finance and marketing, most of the roles are offered. The packages offered and grabbed by the students are quite big and mouthwatering, encouraging others to work hard.
Infrastructure: The classrooms are good, and Wi-Fi is available. All important equipment and materials are provided by the campus, but there are no hostel facilities within the college, leading to struggles for students. However, there are many PGs nearby for students to stay and get accommodation.
Faculty: Yes, there are faculty members with decent educational qualifications and nice behavior towards students and staff. The college has decent exam infrastructure, with exams scheduled regularly. The course is really beneficial for students thinking of enrolling in it.

Absolutely satisfied with the good infrastructure, facilities, and great faculty.
Placements: They have a very good placement policy. All top companies, like Deloitte, EY and similar companies, come for placement in courses on finance, marketing and HR. They also take PDP classes to enhance the skills and competency of the students.
Infrastructure: They have Wi-Fi-enabled classes and labs. You can find everything in their library. Apart from this, they have a mess, medical facilities, and a sports club that organizes 1 annual sports event every year. They have clubs for every major area, such as finance, business analytics, etc.
Faculty: The faculty here is very helpful and attentive to the students requirements. The HODs are very approachable. The curriculum is very much industry-oriented. They have industry visits to understand the practicality of the various aspects related to a business.

Below Avg PGDM Placements
Placements: The placement was below average around 4.5 lakh. I would not recommend this college. If you have to goto Jims, you should goto Rohini only and not kalkaji. Though within Delhi in MAT colllege, NDIM would be better and in Noida, Jaipuria would be better. Choose wisely
Infrastructure: Crumbling and old infrastructure. Campus is not modern and not in line with the latest college buildings. Hostel is not in the campus. Old delhi style cuper crowded govindpuri has paying guest hostels, but it is not the delhi experience i would suggest
Faculty: Some faculty is good, others are very average. curriculum and campus is not good. within jims only rohini. If fees is not a constraint then NDIM and Jaipuria Noida would be much better options. semster exams are not very difficult but the quality of the crowd is not good
Other: the course is much cheaper compared to better brands. if you cannot afford an additional 15% fee, then u can go here, else not

Good infrastructure and teachers are really supportive .
Placements: 85% of students get placements in good companies. The highest package is 10 LPA, the average is 5 LPA and the lowest is 4 LPA. The top recruiting companies are Deloitte and Nescafe. Top roles offered are social media head, digital marketing, financial analyst, etc.
Infrastructure: The classrooms are fully equipped with AC and the chairs and tables are very comfortable. There are computer screens available for teaching in all the classes. There is also availability of Wi-Fi on every floor. The canteen area is also good. There is a Nescafe, too.
Faculty: The teachers are very well educated and know about the course. They help personally, too, if we ask for help with any of our problems. The course curriculum is also very nice and educational. Yes, they make the students industry-ready by taking them on industrial visits. Semester exams are average and sometimes difficult as well.
Other: They also host a fest every year called Zest, and there are also a lot of events that take place here.

Great College in terms of ROI.
Placements: Companies ranging from consulting to FMCG come to campus for placements. Almost every student in the current batch secured internships with one of the top brands like Amul, Deloitte, Dabur, GT, etc. The average package is around 7-8 LPA, and the highest is 35 LPA.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are well-equipped with air conditioning. Smart boards are present in every classroom, with cleanliness and hygiene maintained. The canteen is hygienic, a Nescafe is also present, and the washrooms on campus are well maintained. So overall, college infrastructure is good.
Faculty: The faculty of Jims is well qualified. They have extensive knowledge of their subject. Students get practical exposure with the help of case studies, industrial teaching, presentations, and group discussions in the classroom. Exams are conducted trimester-based, and in each trimester, students have to handle around 10 subjects. So the schedule is quite hectic.

4Placements3Infrastructure4Faculty2Crowd & Campus Life3Value for Money
Absolutely satisfied with faculty, good placements but dissatisfied with the canteen and campus life
Placements: Almost 90% were placed. The highest package was 10 LPA, the lowest was 4 LPA and the average was 5.25 LPA. Top recruiting companies from our course are Deloitte, CBRE, Nestled etc. Almost 95% of students got internships from our college. The top roles offered in our college are management, PR head, social media head event head etc.
Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure are good in our college. Classes have decent desks. Wi-Fi is available but many people use it at the same time so most of the times it is effective. Library is decent too There in no such hostel for our college. The canteen is not upto the mark and sports and games also happens less because the college doesn't have a playground.
Faculty: Yes, the teachers were helpful. They have a great knowledge and good understanding of their respective subjects and were always ready to help whenever we asked. The teaching quality was good too. Yes, the Curriculum was relevant but it does not make the students industry-ready. Semester exams were not that difficult to pass. The pass percentage is 40%.
Other: I chose this course because BBA is a professional course and I have to pursue MBA after that so it is a good stepping stone for it. The course should provide enough skills to the students to make them industry-ready rather than only teaching bookish things. Many great events and fests happen in our college, the surroundings are okayish, and scholarships are there for students.
