Best place for those who want to be a great doctor.
Placements: 99.9% placements for every pass-out students. Students receive between 50k to 2 lakhs from private hospitals and up to 3 lakhs for JIPMER. All medical internships are done in JIPMER itself, which is a 1-year course with a stipend of 30,000 for doctors.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available, and all labs have advanced classrooms that can accommodate 200+ students. The library works 24/7 with air conditioning. Food is average and not very good. Single and double room hostels are available, and there are many cultural programs and games, including indoor and outdoor activities. JIPMER Wi-Fi is available almost all over the campus.
Faculty: The faculty consists of highly qualified professors. They provide excellent teaching with PowerPoint presentations as well as chalk-and-talk methods (though there are a few bad teachers). The class provisions are updated, and teaching materials reflect the most recent versions. Exams are a little difficult to pass, with 80% pass rate. We have to study hard to achieve passing marks.
Other: I would like to be a doctor. It would be good if they allowed air conditioning in the hostel, as it's too hot in Pondicherry. Spandan and interclass competitions are also held.

Faculty members are very good and helpful, and the infrastructure is developed and advanced .
Placements: AIR 2000 or lower could only get admission here; it's under the central government so it has more exposure and reputation. MBBS doesn't provide any packages, but you can still get scholarships from various research programs. Everyone gets an internship through our course.
Infrastructure: All classes have Wi-Fi, including the library. Labs are well maintained and have good infrastructure. The new buildings are more modern and advanced, with better equipment. Hostels are average; food is like at other colleges. Every sport, including swimming, is there. We've got an indoor stadium too.
Faculty: The teachers are very helpful and qualified, mostly MD , DMs, and Ph.Ds. The professors use various PowerPoint presentations and sometimes blackboards to teach. We've got various clinical posting for exposure to patients and how to deal to various cases. The exams are quite difficult, but average to those who study regularly .

Satisfied with faculty care, good placements, and excellent facilities.
Placements: Most students pursue PG courses after completing the MBBS course. Those not interested in PG courses can work as general medical offices in government hospital. Working as a medical officer also allows them to prepare for the NEET PG exam.
Infrastructure: In our hostels, they provide Wi-Fi, labs for all departments, good classrooms, and a library. Hostel Wi-Fi is available 24/7, and there is an uninterrupted power supply. Hot water is provided for bathing and drinking purpose.
Faculty: All the faculty members are qualified, and their teaching quality is commendable. With a smaller student body, teachers can focus on each individual. The curriculum provides immediate practical knowledge. Semester exams are somewhat challenging and based on practical knowledge.
Other: I chose the MBBS course to serve people as a doctor. Seniors organize various events and fests like Onam, Diwali, etc.
