This college is average if you are a study person.

Placements: I am studying MBBS which is a very interesting course. We don't have placements as we do internships and leave out of the college but during the internship, they pay us stipend of approximately Rs.25000 - Rs.30000 per month which is a good amount for interns. The college is very good.

It is tough to crack the entrance exam, but it is worth it.

Placements: All the students apply on their own, and everyone gets placed. Some students opt for Ph.D. abroad or in prestigious Indian institutes. A 3-month internship program is provided, where students can do an internship in their area of interest. JIPMER has a good name.

Review of JIPMER Puducherry.

Placements: As it is a college that offers MBBS, various MLT, and B.Sc. courses, it will not have any placements as such. Every course will be offered an internship at the end of their final year exams. Most of the students who pass MBBS at JIPMER get into some reputed PG colleges in India.

College life is excellent, and we have a good campus.

Placements: Almost 187 students got placed in the 2020 batch. MBBS does not have placements. We have to do a 1-year internship. The role of the MBBS doctor is to collect information and give it to the specialist. After MBBS, we have to take admission in PG, and for taking admission in PG, we have to qualify for the postgraduate exam.

Choose JIPMER medical college for good studies and research.

Placements: Placements for our course were better for my senior batch students. They got opportunities in both international cardiology and electrophysiology studies and cardio. I am also interested in electrophysiology, but nowadays placements for electrophysiology are saturating. But assisting a cardiologist is really good. So I recommend this course in JIPMER.

Top notch medical college you'll be privileged to study in.

Placements: You'll get to do internship in the same hospital which is actually pretty awesome as you can see almost all cases you've read in medical books. That gives a great clinical exposure. You'll get chances to treat patients individually unlike private hospitals, thus one can develop their skills a step ahead of other institute students.

JIPMER an institute of national importance.

Placements: The monthly stipend is 18k and the exposure during internship is next to None. The work in the internship might feel like a clerk's or nurse's job, like in any institution. But, if you keep your eyes open and have enthusiasm, you will see the whole patient management.
