Placements in our college are sub-par, and the institution pays a lot of emphasis on unnecessary assignments and refuses to change on feedback.

Dissatisfied with some teachers and placements.
Placements: There are not many students compared to other courses. 50 LPA and 30 LPA are the top packages offered.70% of students got placed. My batch has like 50 students and not everyone gets placements so the percentage is low. There is an internship every semester I have done and we have to pay for it.
Infrastructure: There is no Wi-Fi facility, classrooms and a library are available but a library card is worth 150rs. The quality of the hostel food is good they say, Sometimes I also eat in the canteen and the food quality is average and for sports, there are balls, carrom and table tennis.
Faculty: Yes, the teachers are very helpful and knowledgeable and the teaching quality is the best. It does make students industry-ready. Exams are not that difficult, 60% of students pass out and the course curriculum is relevant. Not every teacher is good in college there are some rude teachers.
Other: I like this course and was excited about that, it is very interesting and I want to learn more about it. To improve they have to give more instruments, there are instruments but broken, not working condition. There are events like Chiguru and fest.

Good faculty but placements are less.
Placements: The placement at the college is not up to par compared to KSIT. The lowest package is around 2.5 LPA and the average is 3.5 LPA. Internships should be done at our own college. Infosys,, TCS, and all the big companies will come, but selection of students in this college is very limited.
Infrastructure: infrastructure is really good and better than any other college. The library has a huge collection of text books that are very useful to the students and Wi-Fi is available only for study purposes. Classrooms are totally good and smart boards are all available in every classroom.
Faculty: The faculty is very friendly and they teach us in a very good and useful way. Labs are all easy to handle and semester exams are not so difficult or easy either. Teachers are helpful, qualified and knowledgeable. There is no doubt about that. Passing marks are 35 on board and the percentage should be at least 65 for better placements.
Other: All good.

College life is nothing but just engineering life.
Placements: 5 to 6 percent of students were placed in my course. The highest package was 5 lpa, and the lowest was 2.5 lpa. Top companies are not coming to my college. They won't provide any internships. We need to verify everything about the internship on the other side. Roles and responsibilities are dependent on students.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure was average: Wi-Fi, labs, and classrooms. Library infrastructure was good. The quality of the food is somewhat good. The mess and canteen facilities were good, but we don't have any medical facilities. Sports and games are available for boys, but for girls, they don't have grounds for sports.
Faculty: Faculty are knowledgeable; they are qualified. Semester exams were a little bit tough. Pass percentage depends on the students. Teachers have knowledge but they concentrate on finishing the syllabus quickly. They won't know whether the students understand the syllabus or whether they need to complete it.
Other: I chose ECE for hardware and software at last, where I can do the job so that can I do that? Events and fests are a little bit low. Extracurricular activities are there; they encourage us to participate .

The only college where I felt the facilities are supportive .
Placements: Almost 80% of the students were from our college. The top companies recruiting from our college are Infosys, Accenture, TCS, Cognizant, and many more. The lowest package offered was 4 LPA. The average package was 5 LPA. The highest package was 13 LPA, I guess. Almost 70% of students in the Computer Science and Engineering course have gotten internships in college.
Infrastructure: Classes are big enough in our college. We have different labs for different subjects. Lab facilities are also good. We also have a library with a reading section there. High-speed wi-fi is available in labs only. Outside labs, there's no Wi-Fi available, but we can use our mobile data. Facilities encourage a lot of sports activities. Hostel facilities are also available. The quality of the food is good.
Faculty: The faculty of our college are very supportive in not only our studies but also encourage us to participate in all activities like sports and hackathons. Our college participates in most of the hackathons and has won them many times too. The present course is very sufficient. 95% pass percentage every year in our college. The semester exams are difficult only when we are not prepared for them.
Other: I chose computer science and engineering because it has a lot of scope. Fests are held every year for three days. It includes an ethnic day too. The campus surrounding us never disappoints. Everything needed is available within 1 km.

Completely satisfied with college facilities and faculty.
Placements: The college has a separate placement and training department. The college conducts placement training every semester, where trainers with high knowledge guide students about placements. The highest package was around 20 LPA, and the average was 6.5 LPA. Overall, the college has a better placement committee.
Infrastructure: The college has good infrastructure with well-maintained laboratories and a good classroom ambiance. The library is well-organized and provides all the facilities; it has a study room, a group discussion room with Wi-Fi facilities, and a common area for students.
Faculty: The college has a good teachers' committee. Teachers are well-qualified and guide us for team projects and hackathons. The college is well-known for its hackathons. All exams are conducted on time with proper guidance. Every department has a separate teachers' committee.
Other: I am pursuing Computer Science and Engineering. This department has high value in the college. Teachers train students irrespective of their department if students have an interest in projects.

Good Academics but dissatisfied with infrastructure .
Placements: The placement cell is quite good here. From the 1st semester only, they start guiding students. We have placement training every semester. They invite knowledgeable people from the IT, software, and personality development fields. This will be very helpful in the future. The average package you can expect is 4.5 LPA.
Infrastructure: The college campus is comparatively small. The college has two blocks. And each block has 4 floors. There's a canteen in the college; it's not too good, but manageable. There is a stationary shop inside the campus, which is very helpful. The library is very good. And there's a reading room beside the library. Actually, there is no ground in the college as it is on the main road. The college has a well-maintained garden. The parking lot is spacious and sufficient. We have a separate hostel for girls and boys. The girls' hostel is opposite the college. The hostel is very good and specious. They have 2 and 3 sharing rooms and 2 separate buildings. The boys hostel is a little bit away from KSIT; it's near KSSEM (2nd campus) and has a college bus for computing. When it comes to food, taste is not too good but adjustable. And a Wi-Fi facility is available.
Faculty: Faculty members are friendly and experienced. They support each and every student in their academics as well as extracurricular activities. They clarify everyone's doubts and problems very effectively. Take care of students individually. After each and every exam, they conduct counseling sessions for the people who scored less. And we have mentors here. They will take care of you and inform all your academic achievements and performance to your parents. For exams, the difficulty level is moderate. Faculty members will help you with your study plan and notes. The passing percentage of our branch is quite good.
Other: I'm in the 4th semester now. I got admitted to KSIT through COMEDK. I preferred this college mainly because it's on the main road and the hostel is very near the college. And when I asked seniors and alumni about the courses, academics, and placements, all I heard were positive reviews. My suggestion is that if you are searching for a good college with good academics and hostel facilities, this is the best college. But if you are looking for good infrastructure, then you have to think twice. As the college is on Main Road, the campus is small, except that everything is fine.
