College life is nothing but just engineering life.

Placements: 5 to 6 percent of students were placed in my course. The highest package was 5 lpa, and the lowest was 2.5 lpa. Top companies are not coming to my college. They won't provide any internships. We need to verify everything about the internship on the other side. Roles and responsibilities are dependent on students.

Our college facilities are worth the money paid.

Placements: About 20% of students got placed in our batch. The highest salary package offered is 10 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 2 LPA. Top recruiting companies are NTT, Deltax, Celstream, Cognizant, etc. Top roles offered for our course are development engineer, etc.

Satisfied with the whole particulars of college.

Placements: The placements are pretty good. To be exact the placements depends on the persons percentage and their skills. In our college they have provided a platform where we can get to know about various companies and they have provided interaction, so we can have an idea which field to choose.

Understand the functioning of the college before joining.

Placements: It is really great that KSSEM provides the training for placements right from the first semester, but it is very unfortunate that we don't get much of the reputed companies. It is disappointing that most of the recruiting companies just offer BPO jobs and EC engineers are offered an IT job. It would be really good if appropriate companies approach for all engineering branches.

Average college and better placements should be made available.

Placements: The placements are poor. Many companies won't come for placements. The teaching is good. Placements can be improved by having a better placement team and by changing the placement lead. The college should do something to attract companies to the college and help the students.

Good college for studies, but not for placements.

Placements: This college is not good for placements if you are a mechanical student. You might get core companies for other branches, but I doubt on that. So, think twice while getting an admission. I am not sure about other departments. You have to pay money for everything here, so join at your own risk. Don't join the college only for placements.

The college is not up to the mark.

Placements: The placement in our college is satisfactory because our college is not much famous around Bangalore. About 30-50% people will get placement from a batch, and for civil engineers, not much of placement is available because of the unavailability of construction companies.

My suggestion is to join this college and get a fight with an office room.

Placements: You won't get better placements in this college because the college started in the year 2010. But there is an encouragement for the placement in our college. The worst in our college is our office room. They won't allow you to get placements because they are jealous of the engineering students. They act like an uneducated people.

Decent academics, poor infrastructure, greedy.

Placements: The placements are decent. Companies are okay with a few start-ups here and there, but the number of students selected is a bit low. The highest salary was around 2 LPA, and the lowest is around Rs. 15,000. Some of the companies that visited are HCL, Infosys, Tata consultancy services, Tech Mahindra, etc.

A review of KSIT to let you make a smart decision.

Placements: Our batch placements are going on. Whichever company comes hires one or two students. No mass recruiters are coming this year. So I would rate placements at KSIT as 2 on 5. Our seniors had better opportunities than us as they had Tech Mahindra, NTT data, L&T, Infotech for mass recruitment. Now college is going for NBA accreditation so let us hope for good opportunities coming up for our juniors.

Good infrastructure, average placements and limited opportunities.

Placements: The placements are average with very few on-campus drives. More significant opportunities are available for pool campus drives in other colleges. Provision of placement training is available. Most of the companies would come for KSIT placements and would hire few from KSSEM.

Bad infrastructure, average placement, small campus, I'm very dissatisfied with this college.

Placements: The placements are good here in KSIT. Around 500 students, 250+ students got placed in different companies. Companies like Infosys, Tech Mahindra, Amazon, etc. have taken campus placement. Even though they got placed in the company some of them have to wait for a year to get joined in that company.

Good college for all branches with one of the worst infrastructure, and good college for studying

Placements: The college is pretty good for the students of mechanical engineering as it has good faculty members here. There are specific faculty members for particular subjects. The laboratories are maintained very well and had many types of equipment compared to other colleges. This college also has another feature like the Pupilpod app where this directly sends a message to the parents if the students bunk the classes. The placements here are not great (generally for mechanical branch nowhere the placeme...

The term 'school' in the name of this college is not unintentional.

Placements: Regarding the placements, the college is not well-equipped with a good placements cell. But, the college does provide the placements training from the 1st year itself, and that's a positive. Only about 50 out of 250 students got placed in the last year, and not a lot of big companies arrive for the placement.

An honest review from a student who graduated last year.

Placements: Many companies are coming to this college, but most of the companies coming are software based. So, if you are a computer science student, the probability is very high for placement. Since I'm an ECE student, I'm still jobless because I don't want an IT field, computer-based job.

Satisfied with labs learning and infrastructure. But as a ECE student, placement was not good.

Placements: They provide only IT and computer science related jobs. But not core related jobs. Computer science related companies like Infosys, NTT DATA, HCL, Tech Mahindra. IT related companies like Amazon, Himachal Pradesh, Thasmai. Indian Navy, Western line, Alpha9 is also a part of placements. The few new startup and add-on course placements also conducted a drive. However, the total number of intake is less for the ECE students.

Overall, a good college to enjoy and to get a degree.

Placements: They have a placement department. If you maintain an aggregate above seventy percent, your chances are more to get placed, otherwise, it's too difficult. They will refer you to attend the pool campus in some other colleges like KSIT. Don't expect core companies.

K. S. Institute of Technology - slowly making it's name.

Placements: Placements are average. In 2017 the placement rate was 60% and some of the students got placed in some very reputed companies. Very good companies visit the college like Infosys, Tech Mahindra, L&T and many more. You will be provided with the placement training every semester which is a good part. The placement cell of the college and the placement officer is very helpful and student supportive.

K S Institute of Technology provides you with decent knowledge and experience needed.

Placements: Placements are good. Current placement saw 70% students placed and also the placement officer is helpful. Reputed companies come here. Also, this college organizes a pool campus where students from all part of the country make a visit. Students are trained as per placement and thus the college provides an overall placement of about 60% on an average every year.
