This college is best for B.A. course.
Placements: There are 55-75% of the students got placed in our course. The lowest package offered is 6,500 rs/month, the average salary offered is Rs 10,500 / per month & the highest package offered is 17,500 / month. Medium recruiting companies of our college. Also, students get government jobs. Almost 20% of the students got internships. There is good infrastructure.
Infrastructure: Wi-fi is not available for everyone only teachers & official staffs can get these benefits. Multiple new labs are set up this year. Classrooms are clean and well-managed with the excellent condition of blackboards & smart boards. There is a huge library with new and updated books. We don't have a hostel or a mess. But there is a canteen with good quality of food. Medical facilities are also available. Sports & games are common in our college.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and caring. They are well-trained & I didn't face any kind of difficulties. This course curriculum is relevant, and it is well-followed. Seniors got jobs in companies. Semester examinations are not the difficult. There 85% students passed in semester examination.

My experience was not much good.
Placements: 60% of students got placed in our course. 16% of students got internships from our course. There are two main companies like Tech Mahindra and TCS.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi and labs are not available. The classrooms are very clean. A library is present. Hostel, mess and games, sports, and medical facilities are not available. We have NSS. The canteen is very poor, and the price is very high.
The menu is very short, and the quality is not much good.
Faculty: Our history teacher is very helpful, but other teachers are not. They give us a positive response, and I think their teaching quality is very good. This course curriculum is relevant.
Other: One can make good friends here. The classes are taught very carefully.

Good numbers of books are also available for the students in the library.

Overall, this college is average.
Placements: None of the companies did recruitment in this college, and I am not any job offered by any company. Around 100-150 students got an internship. The highest salary offered is Rs. 30,000 per month, and the lowest salary offered is Rs. 15,000 per month. After admission, students would like this college.
Infrastructure: Classrooms, labs and a library are good, and their maintenance is also good. There is no space for sports. If you want to play sports, then you can go to the union room as there is carrom. Wi-Fi is available, but it is only for college staff members and not for students.
Faculty: Some teachers are good, and teaching quality is also good. Teachers are also very friendly, helpful and also knowledgeable. This course curriculum is relevant, but students are not ready for the industry.
Other: I have chosen this course because I like this subject. Our college faculty members are also good, so I have joined this college. Connectivity is not that good.

Faculty members are appreciable, but the infrastructure and facilities need to be improved.
Placements: I am currently pursuing graduation in this college. My core subject is English, and I am doing specialisation in it. I am from 2018 batch of English Honours course in this college. My course is arts-based, and students didn't get internships in companies. Our class has 24 students.
Infrastructure: Our course has 3 rooms each for 1 year, and they are of small size, and students don't get access to the Wi-Fi facility of the college. The library is average, and there are no labs except for geography as B.Sc course is not available. There are no hostel facilities, and the canteen is also average and provides some regular food items. One room is allotted for medical purpose, and there is no space to play games or sports.
Faculty: Teachers here are very helpful, knowledgeable and qualified. Their teaching quality is average and can be improved. The syllabus should be completed as it is necessary, but most of the teachers don't complete it, which is a disappointing thing. Notes provided in offline classes are not good. Teachers can help students more.
Other: I have chosen this subject as I am from English medium background, and it is a very interesting subject and always has demand. The department of sociology conducts helpful events, and every department conducts alumni association programs and cultural programs. Special rooms are not allotted for extracurricular activities and are not initiated also.

KSMV is an underrated college.
Placements: Kabi Sukanta Mahavidyalaya is a general degree college under Burdwan University. As of now, our college has offered only arts and commerce subjects, and science subject has not added yet. Like other general degree colleges, our college also doesn't have a placement cell. Most importantly, there are only UG courses.
Infrastructure: Our college has well-built classrooms, and the laboratories are well-equipped. There are also digital boards in every department, so we can give seminars or digital presentations through them. There are separate departmental libraries as well as an air-conditioned central library. We can visit the central library at any time and use the library Wi-Fi, and the librarians are truly helpful. The canteen is huge, and the quality of the food served is good. Prices of the food are quite reasonable. There are separate common rooms for both boys and girls. Apart from that, there is no hostel facility in our college since students from neighbouring stations come to study here and can commute daily through auto or trains. The union is helpful in every aspect. They arrange annual sports and cultural fest, and there is a separate playground for us.
Faculty: Not only the English department but also all departments have great teachers. They are very much supportive. In our department, there is a total of 4 professors, and our HOD holds a doctoral degree as well. One more good thing about our college is that teachers conduct classes daily, and none of them skips a class unless they have very urgent work. Even they manage to complete the syllabus on time, and they provide us with all the necessary study materials throughout the session. Our principal sir is godly, and we always like and respect them.
Other: This college is very underrated. I like my college more than the schools where I have studied. The atmosphere is very good. I am in the final year of my course, and I am cherishing the college life. All my batchmates, seniors and juniors are lovable. Studying English Honours from this college is surely worthy.
